First off, my credit card was stolen back in June. The normal $50 monthly payment came out in June before I reported it stolen and that month was the last month I received service from the company. Since then, I have had to change all of the payment information for all of the things that come out automatically from that credit card. This account was overlooked in that process. I was never contacted about this misunderstanding and by the time I figured it out I was already in collections. This is a very shady way of conducting business in my opinion. To affect some one's credit without even talking with them and without even providing any service in that time period. I signed a 3 month contract was told they don't do that. I had a signed copy and forwarded to them. The contract started in July,shoulg have been through September, they skipped September and sprayed in October when the weather was colder and no mosquitos! I was approached by a representative for this company and had a service set up to have my house and yard treated as well as having a termite monitoring system put in. Well the technician forgot the termite system the day he did my yard and house treatment. I soon get a bill for $75, but I refused to pay it until the service was redone at my home and all equipment was in place. My refusal to pay was because after my house was serviced I had more insects in and around my home than I originally had, spiders to be exact. I called and explained this to someone at their call center, I subsequently made 6 more phone calls because this company would say a technician was going to show up and then they would not show up at all! We've had them for over two years at our house in Jacksonville, NC and they provide the best customer service. Kept our house pest free the entire time, and anytime something did sneak it's way in they came out to take care of it between the scheduled visit with no issue. Highly recommend them. read more

ZERO stars! This company forged my name and then harassed me about a payment and sent the bill to collections and messed up my credit! I reported the fraud and my credit was fixed. They emailed me a bogus bill for services and plan on sending it to the credit bureau again! I've never been harassed for bullshit service before. They're the worst. read more

I would definitely stay clear of this company. They use very deceptive practices to take advantage of people. They came to my 90 year old mother's door and talked her into signing a contract. She didn't understand what she was signing she just wanted some help with bugs she had recently seen in her home. It ended up to be a year contract and now they are charging her $100 to cancel the contract and then reneging on the "special" price they gave her for the first treatment which did not help at all! She had more bugs after they treated than before. I spoke to someone at the company and they basically would do nothing to help her. They are demanding that she pay $269 to cancel. Insight Pest Solutions comes knocking on our doors a couple weeks ago. After our first service we heard that this was a binding contract and that was news to us. This was not mentioned when we signed up. Plus, I called today since we are having a fly problem and the first lady I talked to could not even find our account. So I called back & talked to another lady who found our account. Our address is wrong on the contract...but somehow in the system it is correct. You have to call for your quarterly appointments. So hope we remember to call. I was also informed that the North Carolina pear offices are the hardest to schedule appointments, so the lady has to call me back with an appointment time. DON'T knock on doors if you don't have the man power to do the work!! Very disappointed in a company that we should be able to trust to come take care of our home. read more

My experience with Insight was terrible. We have never seen a decrease in bug activity. They make it very difficult to cancel. You will wait on hold and be transferred over and over again. I hired Insight Pest Solutions back in June of 2021. They gave me what seemed to be a good deal to have my house treated because a few of my neighbors had hired them as well. The first treatment they showed up on time and did the job, a week later, I had more bugs than I did before they came. I called them and they said that they would come out and retreat my home free of charge and they told me they'd call me back to set up an appointment. After nearly a month, I called them back and voided my complaint about how they never got back to me. The representative told me that he would have someone come out to treat my house between 7am-7pm ( yes a 12hr window). After waiting all day no one came and no one called me to let me know they weren't coming. That following Monday I cialled Insight to cancel my service because I had been stood up twice and having a treatment done without getting any results. When I told them I wanted to cancel my services with the first representative said that they had scheduled me for a service this Monday (without my permission). The representative was also unapologetic and seemed not to care that I was not getting what I paid for and told me that I'd be charged a termination fee because I did not stay in the agreed contract. I was pretty ticked off when I was told that being that my invoices were all paid in full, I received a service that didn't work, and was stood up for two additional appointments. The representative gave me a number to call and see about getting the termination fee waived. When I called, the manager refused to waive the termination but offered to give me $20 of each visit until the contract had ended. This is extortion, I'm being forced to pay a large termination fee or stay in a contract that requires me to kick out hundreds of dollars for poor services, bad customer service, and given a 12hr time frame for me to wait at home for them to never show up. read more

No problem with first service. However, I was not informed by initial sign-up representative that this is a binding contract and there is a penalty for cancelling. I did not realize that until I received an email from the company. I feel that this is deceptive. I was also informed by the first service provider that this contract automatically renews. Jamis was walking around my neighborhood and stated that they have a deal for $99 and they would treat my entire lawn (front and back) as well as plug all the holes from the bees and set traps. He also stated they lay down a powder that the bees don't like and would keep them away. I have ring cameras outside of my home(front and back). The technician never treated my grass only the edges of the street. No holes were plugged. I called customer service to ask was this a contract after reading the reviews, she stated yes we would get charged quarterly. Then when it comes time for the service they spend 20 minutes at your house and then leave. For starters they loitered even we had a sign up. But, I was in need of pest services at the time so I entertained the salesperson. Everything went well, the salesperson provided a discount, I signed up...... After you receive the actual contract you notice that there was way more information from what they show you on their tablet when you are signing. The technician does the first visit and does the front half of the house but I was charge for Full service. So when I go to cancel I had to pay full service price and the plan's cancellation fee because its a promotional discount based on your commitment and not a discount from the salesperson, which he never disclosed but as they said over the phone, "I should have carefully read the contract". Just went back to our local pest control. No gimmicks, just a service provided for a set price. read more

This is generous. After being fast talked into a one year contract we were hopeful to end or at least reduce the pest (flea, spider and wasp) issues we've had for years. The Insight men came out three times (not 4, like they said would happen), only 2 of the guys spread something in our backyard. Our front yard was mostly untouched and the inside of our house was completely untouched by their "specialists". My dogs and my cat were miserable. The fleas, wasps and spiders seemed to have multiplied after the visits. If they were supposed to clear out the cobwebs and wasp nest-why did my husband get stung by a wasp when he was cleaning the window screens? We have since let the contract runout and treated the yard ourselves with lime. Fewer issues now for sure, my animals are doing better now. This company sucks-watch out, they might want you to pay for treatments that are never received too. Not worth wasting money on, that's for sure. read more

WARNING!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!! LIAR!!! They walk house to house talking about promotional deals. My wife and I specifically signed up because the guy was signing us up on a promotional deal by waving the additional fee that it would normally charge for german roaches service. There was no misunderstanding because he acknowledged the service i picked out and confirmed the fees he will wave for the promotion. When our first service came, the worker wasn't equiped to do the german roach service because we were only scheduled for basic service. I called the office to sort this out and they had no record of any fee waving or promotions on our account and proceeded to tell me they can charge me an additional $200 to do the service I requested. There were not even an option to get a discount after explaining everything to their office. Now I can't get rid of them because they'll charge me even more to cancel the current account we have with them. This is a no win situation. At the end my options were pay or pay more. read more

Really and every other word was an exaggerated "Ma'am". Very insulting to be talked down to. Can't give me a card 'because you know, when the truck is across the street servicing, they can just back up into my driveway.' One star is too much for this company. I had this company come by my house a little over a year ago, and they sold me on their services. After we moved a few months later they transferred our services to the new house with no problems. Every quarter they would come out to spray, and I would tell them areas where I was seeing increased activity of bugs and spiders. Nothing they did ever got rid of these pest. After bidding my time to where I could cancel my account, I called them, and the guy I spoke with told me that an account associate would have to call me back. After two and half hours of waiting I called them back. Again the account associates were too busy to speak with me. After telling the guy that I wanted to speak to someone that could cancel my account he put me on hold and then someone hung up on me. So I called them back, requested to speak to a supervisor , but I got the answer that the supervisor didn't want to speak to me. If you are looking for quality customer service and a product that actually works then I suggest you refrain from going with this company. read more

We selected Insight after a very nice man came and explained their service. We were especially happy to see that they dealt with moles ( we had lines running through our yard) and fire ants. They came to our house twice. They put stuff out for the moles and fire ants on the first visit. Inside they sprayed only around the sinks. We began to see spiders and had one roach appear. The moles and fire ants are still here. We had better luck with our last pest person (whom we've gone back to-no spiders or roaches now). We cancelled their service. Now they are trying to charge us $319 because we broke the contract. I said their service didn't work. We are still waiting to see how this turns out, but BEWARE! DO NOT use this company. They solicited door to door and said that this was a pay as you go service and then continue to show up at our house month after month. Treating for ants in the dead of winter. We've refused their service when they've come to our house but now they've shown up when we're at work and can't be there to refuse them and they still charge us $90 my husband called to stop having them at our house and the lady threatened him. With a $350 fee stating that their initial $50 service was "promotional" and it could have cost $350 (which no one in their right mind would consider a one time pest treatment for $350) if they hadn't offered that so we would be charged that full amount. We're all about supporting local business but this business took advantage of us and I hope for the sake of everyone in our neighborhood no one else got duped them. Their business model is written to be misleading, their product does not work, they send employees unannounced and unwelcome to your yard when you're not home and when you call to reason with them they threaten you with a ridiculous charge. I would still get calls saying I never paid my bill when I did give my Credit card at the time of service and on the phone twice. No one knows what they did with my CC number.
