I have been using Insight Eye Optique for the last four years since I moved from Chicago. Dr. Jill Bierweiler has taken care of my optical exams and consultation ever since I've been going. She is very knowledgeable and very patient. She takes the time to answer every question I have and address any concerns I may have selecting my glass needs. My profession offers greater challenges for progressive lenses and if I ever had an issue. She has always offered to change out the lenses with a new prescription. The staff Farzana and Oxana are the most helpful and professional ladies to help you select your style and offer an abundance of choices. I am very happy using this office and highly recommend you give them a chance, read more

With 5 family members wearing glasses, we spend a lot of time at the optometrist. Not only is the Insight Eye Optique office comfortable and welcoming, but the office staff goes above and beyond to meet your needs. Dr. Sutaria and Dr. Bierweiler are both knowledgeable and down to earth. They are willing to take the time to answer your questions in a way that you can understand. Oksana, Lorena and Anthony are all wonderfully patient and helpful when selecting frames and have been overly accommodating when one of our children breaks their glasses and urgently needs a replacement. The personalized attention that we receive at Insight Eye Optique makes me feel like the staff is part of our extended family. We feel so glad to have found them! read more

The staff at Insight Eye Optique is extremely friendly and professional with all their clients. Dr. Sutaria is a kind, gentle woman who clearly demonstrates interest in the well being of her patients. I have been with them for about two years now, and althought their office is small, I wouldn't trade their services for any other office. Oksana is always willing to help you pick just the right set of frames, she has an amazing sense of style! And Jennifer at the front desk is extremely helpful with any questions you might have. I have not once felt rushed during my appointment, and their relaxing room with coffee and massage chairs is the cherry on top of the cake. read more

Everyone is very nice, good customer service. I've seen both doctors and I really like them both. Love those massage chairs too! :)

Great service with knowledgeable staff. The glasses were ready ahead of schedule. Highly recommend Anthony, as he was very professional.

Called repeatedly to make an appointment. They never answered their phones. Finally called again and tried to make an appointment because my contacts are about to run out. Couldn't find any appointments to accommodate me for over a month. The receptionist started talking to someone in the background & put me on hold. Finally said forget it and will take my business elsewhere. Unfortunate for them, they lost out on a family of 5. Clearly not in need of new patients. read more

Dr. Sutaria was the most professional optometrist I have ever dealt with. She took the time to explain to me each test she was going to perform and what the test meant in regards to my eyes. I let her know that I was interested in contact lenses along with an upgrade of glasses. She not only took the time to explain to me the positive and negative effects of contacts but she also gave me a test pair to try out and keep for my own. I spent over 45 minutes trying to put the first contact in my eye and she was there throughout the entire process assisting me and giving me techniques on how to put the contact in and take it back out. After my eye exam I went over to the frame section to see which type of glasses I wanted to get. Thankfully they had a knowledgeable consultant there by the name of Oksana who was able to help me find the PERFECT glasses. I was very satisfied with my overall experience. I highly recommend anyone who is getting new glasses or even a going for a simple eye checkup to go to this place. By the way, the relaxation lounge is amazing and truly one of a kind. read more

Dr. Sutaria was very attentive and took plenty of time to address my concerns and questions. She made great suggestions regarding vision correction options. Office equipment seemed to be top of the line and well maintained. The office staff were patient and accommodating in helping me make some decisions about choosing my eyewear. read more

I've gone myself and taken my kid once and I'm not impressed. Three issues: 1. Painful prescription 2. Exceedingly expensive and they push unnecessary services, options, and exams a. Name brand frames - there were no affordable options b. Every lens option way over amount allowed by insurance c. They pushed an unnecessary test that has to be paid out of pocket d. They lied and said all kids should get an optometrist vision screen after age 4 or 5. 3. Fit. She didn't fit my frame right the first time, they slipped down even though I said they didn't fit right. I had to go back. First, the prescription I got is waaaaaay different from my old one. I got prescription sunglasses this last time so I go back and forth between old prescription and new. It hurts every time I put on the sunglasses and everything is super blurry because the difference is so great. My eyes do not adjust even if I'm driving for a couple hours with them on. So I paid hundreds of dollars for glasses I can't even really use as intended. Second, expensive! Super expensive. I have decent vision insurance but every lens option was way above the allowed amount. They only offer super expensive name brand frames, well over the allowed. They also pushed hard this eye photography thing that costs $100 out of pocket - as a baseline for comparison for future retinal changes. My insurance was like, yeah, right. In addition, they told me that all kids need to have their vision screened from age 4 on. Yes, they do - and all kids do get screened with the letter/shape chart at their annual pediatric well kid visit as well as the occasional screenings done at school. You don't actually need an optometrist screening if there's no need for glasses indicated by the standard chart screen. I took my 6 year old because I believed them even though his school and ped said he was fine. Then I discovered why you don't take kids to optometrists if there's no need. They're really not set up for younger kids, kids don't really understand, they don't all sit still, and frankly, there's not a lot they can do with a wiggly kid. Don't do it unless you see signs of eye strain (squinting, headaches, etc) or your ped/school nurse says there's a need. It's a waste of time/money. Third, choice and fit. I was not impressed with the help I received picking out the frame initially and they really didn't have many options for people with narrow faces. I'm not talking about frames that were attractive on me, I'm talking about frames that would even fit a narrow face no matter if they looked good or not. I was not impressed with the selection or the advice. I don't care so much about cutting edge fashion, I want what looks good and fits well, no matter if it's not the latest style. When my glasses came in, I got them fitted but she did a poor job and she said they didn't need fixing when I asked. That's what you get for coming in at the end of the day and when there are other customers, I guess - half-assed work. I had to come back another time to get them fitted so they don't slip down. Glasses can't work if they don't stay where you need them. There's nothing affordable. Of course, it's Brambleton but still. Yes, there's a fancy 'relaxation' room. If you get a massage and glasses elsewhere, it'll cost the same or less. The Dr. was nice but I'm not convinced she got my prescription right. read more

Love this place. Been a patient for 3 years. Great staff and clinicians. And I love their selection of frames--I know at first it looks like there's a limited selection but don't let that throw you. I did go check out some of the larger chains and came back to Insight for my frames as well as the exam. Theirs is of the highest quality and they have got some unique and trendy designers. read more

Moving to a new area and looking for new medical providers is a daunting task (especially if you have been in a medically related field). One tends to understand the process and has high expectations. Insight Eye Optique in Ashburn lived up to all my expectations. It was warm and inviting, the staff was extremely accommodating and both the optometrist and the optician were extremely knowledgeable and personable. Everyone had patience, and answered all questions. They make you feel as though you were the only one there (when you know there were others to be seen). It was a very pleasant experience and I recommend them highly. read more

I generally don't like going to any doctor, even eye doctors, and I hate, hate, hate picking out new frames. I was pleasantly surprised coming here. The staff was so friendly... the girl at the front desk spent extra time looking into my two insurance policies to find the arrangement that would save me the most money because I wanted contacts and new frames. The doctor was very attentive and asked tons of questions about my lifestyle to help me find the contacts that would work best for me. Plus their equipment was higher tech than I'm used to. My new prescription is spot on. The doc helped me fit the contacts, which are wonderful, and the girls in the front spent a ton of time helping me pick trendy new frames. The experience was sooooo much better than going to Lenscrafters, where your attacked by pushy sales people who make you feel uncomfortable. And I didn't spend as much as I thought I would, which is always great! I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. This is what a trip to the eye doctor should be every time. read more

Great and very knowledgeable service. My entire family has used Insight Eye Optique for years and never consider other options

I have been wearing glasses for 40 years, and Dr. Sutaria is the best eye Dr. I have ever visited. My husband went there first, and raved so much about his experience, that I was inspired to change eye Dr's. and visit this office. I am so glad that I did. Also, Oksana, in the eye wear dept. is fantastic. I tried on many pairs of glasses and changed my mind a few times, and she was patient and kind and is very knowledgeable about which frames can handle various prescription strengths. Her inventory of eye frames is extremely modern and chic. She also has a very nice selections of frames for teens and children. I highly recommend this office. You will forget that you are even at the Dr. once you arrive there. read more

I wouldn't normally take the time to write a review of an O.D., however I truly enjoy my appointments with Dr. Sutaria and the overall Insight Eye Optique experience. She provides a very thorough exam, takes the time to walk you through available options (glasses, contacts, etc.), is not pushy in terms of up-selling, and is extremely patient also does a great job of remembering her patients between appointments. The front desk staff and assistants have always provided a pleasant experience as well. Highly recommend! read more

I went there with my husband today for an eye exam and the young lady up front asked about our insurance. She spent almost an hr on the phone verifying insurance even though our insurance approved providers have them listed she wasn't able to locate it. Turns out insurance company didn't have the correct date of birth for my husband. Hopefully I'm spelling her name correctly 'Farzana' offered us some beverages and beautiful relaxation room to wait. After she got off the phone with insurance she was able to fit us in right away to see the doctor. She was very sweet and courteous of our time. Nice office with great staff and friendly Doctor. read more

I had a great experience buying glasses at Insight Eye Optique. After looking at other stores all day and not finding anything I liked, I decided to drive out to this shop in Ashburn. I was not disappointed! The optician, Oksana, helped me find a frame that perfectly fit my face, eyes, and coloring. Ordering the lenses was very easy. Now that I have the glasses, they are wonderful! I've received compliments on the style, and since they fit so well, they are completely comfortable. I am very happy I went to Insight Eye Optique! read more

Bad service and didn't take any responsibility for their things. It is taking more four weeks to order the glasses.... I was told that things were out of their control as they got to order the glasses from the lab and they blamed it on the lab for messing up their order. read more

I've been going to an eye doctor in Leesburg for years, but when my kids started needing glasses, the office down the block was very attractive. Now I need new contacts for myself, but I'm torn over whether to go to Insight. I think both Dr. Sutaria and Dr. Bierwiler are great. They definitely know what they are doing and gave us a lot of good information. My problem is with their optician Oksana. My oldest child was extremely upset about needing glasses. Many tears were shed before even trying on the first pair. At which point Oksana approached and actually said, "Oh- you look like a nerd in those." I somehow overcame my immediate instinct to walk out and never come back and we ended up with another pair of very nice glasses (at triple the cost, of course.) More recently, my other child needed replacement lenses. The girl at the front desk (who is wonderful and if I could deal with her exclusively this wouldn't be an issue) called me when they were in. When we stopped by to pick them up, Oksana intervened and told me I needed to pay an additional $100. Since I had paid in full when I ordered them, I couldn't understand how this could be. She said she had made a mistake. Obviously, i wanted a better explanation as to how they could suddenly be so much more when we'd carefully gone over the order at the time it was placed. At that point, she said fine- just pay 80. Normally, I could have stood there all day arguing since she never gave me an actual reason why there was a price increase after the fact. But because my son was desperate to have his glasses back, and I needed to pick up my other child in five minutes, I very grudgingly paid. read more

Ok let me start by saying, this staff is AWESOME! It's always a total experience for me, from the amazing warm reception to the end of my eye exam, and eyeglass fitting. Just some highlights: first, the receptionist is extremely accommodating. She guides you to a lounge area, where you can indulge in any hot delicious beverage of your choice, while enjoying a nice chair massage. After that, they call you into any one of their cleanly state of the art eye exam rooms. The doctors (I have seen both) are super friendly and informative, and take their time explaining everything, step by step, leaving no detail unturned. This was great considering my non-English speaking parents benefited from their patience and kindness. After the exam, you are taken to your eyeglass fitting (if you go this route). Their selection is beautiful. We ended up walking out with 4 pairs! They are so reasonably priced and top quality (Hugo Boss was in this mix). The examiner was so warm and friendly and ended up cracking jokes with my folks. It was, as I mentioned, a total experience! If you are looking for an eye exam, this place is the best. Customer service is most certainly their top priority!!! read more
