We wanted to express our appreciation to Cody (Service Consultant) and Jim (Mechanic) in the…read moreservice department for their willingness to go out of their way to help us recently. We were on our way down I-25 headed to our camping trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our trailer in tow when the "check engine" light unexpectedly came on in our Chevy Express van. We were only a few miles away so we stopped at Mike Maroone Chevrolet along Highway 119 east of Longmont. When we arrived and explained our situation, Cody and Jim dropped what they were doing, hooked up to the van with their code reader and computer, and were able to ease our minds about the issue so that we could continue on our way to our destination without having to worry about a breakdown in the process. We were back on our way within about 45 minutes. Their willingness to help when we didn't have a service appointment was much appreciated and saved us a lot of concern so we could enjoy our trip.

Highly recommend this dealership, and specifically Tony and Dustin for your car needs!

Even though I didn't end up purchasing the car I was interested in, the experience was top-notch and worth mentioning. From the moment I contacted them, Cody was incredibly responsive and helpful, patient, never pushy and most importantly transparent. He was genuinely interested in helping me, even though I was not local and couldn't come in for a test drive. Their professionalism and customer-first attitude stood out, making me want to purchase a car from them hopefully in the future. I can't recommend them enough for anyone looking for a seamless and hassle-free car-buying experience, whether in or out of state! I do need to give James a shoutout as well. He hopped on a late afternoon call with me and was so patient, transparent, and understanding as well which was so comforting to know as he was the sales manager. overall, great team, great guys, great cars!

Went in for a safety recall…read more I did love the video the tech sent; it was great how the technician explained things in general about the health of the vehicle. Kai (sp?) and Mercedes at the service desk are great, wonderful personal customer service, at the service desk. The challenges: Communication. I left multiple voice messages over several days for the service center, requesting a return call to schedule a service. I never received a phone call back. I brought my vehicle in for a safety recall, and when the technician sent me the video inspection of the vehicle, he didn't mention that the safety recall issue had been fixed let alone what he did to fix it. I received two different texts from two different phone numbers that had texted me about my vehicle being ready for pick up or asking me if I wanted to complete a $450 wheel service. I replied to both numbers, asking to confirm the safety recall had been fixed, no replies to my text. I then attempted to call the service desk and kept being put into voicemail, but I know voicemails aren't returned. The safety recall letter mentioned that the dealership may be able to provide me transportation. I work 1.7 miles down Ken Pratt Blvd. I was offered a loaner car. It didn't make sense to me to borrow one of the loaner cars for a 4 mile round-trip to for the loaner to sit in my work place parking lot and not be available to another customer. Each time I have come in I've used Lyft for the 1.7 miles to my office and the 1.7 miles back to the dealership. A friendly customer service ride would've really been the shining star of customer service. I'm grateful for the free oil changes that I received when I purchased my vehicle and that McDonald Mazda North was able to do those for me. But I won't be back now, unless for a safety recall, now that I've used up the free oil changes. I'll be going to a smaller more personal mechanic. Y'all have a business to run and you have certain goals for your business. Your goals and my customer service experience hopes just don't align.

However, I didn't really see any other option at this point because it has just been a nonstop issue for years. And the good news is, they fixed it and it was pretty cheap compared to what I was potentially expecting. However, driving home I noticed that my hood was flapping a bit. It was a windy day so I wrote it off to that for a couple minutes. But then it was like, "This isn't right." So I pulled off the interstate and saw that they had popped the hood and must have forgotten to close it. Obviously an easy thing to just pop it back closed, but I'm very glad it hadn't flown open while I was driving and potentially come off. Also, why were they popping the hood when I came in for a brake light repair? I admit I'm not very knowledgable with cars so it might have been related. But it's a crazy lack of oversight to just forget to close the freaking hood. And I hope that was the only thing that went wrong and I'm not just missing something else due to my lack of knowledge.

I brought my 2025 Camry in for a TPMS malfunction warning on what should have been a relaxing…read moreSaturday morning. Instead, what followed consumed my entire day and left me frustrated, out $199, and completely let down by a dealership that had every opportunity to make this right. From the moment I walked in I was informed of a $230 diagnostic fee with no guarantee it would be waived -- even though my car is still under full factory warranty. The stated condition was that if the cause turned out to be something outside of warranty coverage, the full $230 would stand. When the service advisor came to the waiting area to ask about my tires, I mentioned I had recently had a winter-to-spring tire swap done at Discount Tire. She surmised on the spot that Discount had not properly reprogrammed the sensors and that because the cause was external to the vehicle, the warranty would not cover it -- but she would reduce the charge to $199 plus tax. No negotiation. That was simply what I was told. When I checked out and asked the service advisor what the $199 was for, her entire response was a single word: "Labor." No elaboration. No breakdown. Just "labor." For nearly $200 on a car still under factory warranty, I deserved better than that. The issue was ultimately confirmed as incorrect TPMS sensor IDs -- a programming problem, not a hardware failure. What made this experience truly infuriating was what followed. My invoice was so poorly documented that it contained no separate technician cause and correction notes -- just a muddled block of text that didn't clearly explain what was found or what was done. I needed that documentation to seek reimbursement from the tire shop. A completely reasonable request. Instead I spent the better part of my Saturday being passed around, ignored, and ultimately stonewalled. A separate representative who called me after the fact claimed that Discount Tire wouldn't have the equipment to reprogram Toyota TPMS sensors -- an assertion that is simply incorrect. TPMS programming tools are industry standard at every professional tire shop. This felt like a convenient deflection rather than an honest assessment -- and frankly, it was insulting to my intelligence. That same representative attempted to transfer me to Ryan, the service manager. The call dropped after six rings. Ryan never called me back. I then called him myself and left a message. Still nothing. A service manager who can't be bothered to return a customer's call says everything about the culture at this dealership. When I followed up by text requesting clearer documentation, the advisor acknowledged the invoice was inadequate and said she would relay the feedback to her service manager. No offer to correct MY paperwork. No follow-up. Just silence. On a Saturday. When I was sitting there waiting for help. I've since canceled my 15k service appointment and will be returning to the dealership where I purchased my car. I came in with a straightforward problem and a reasonable request. I left feeling dismissed, overcharged, and robbed of my entire Saturday. Stapp Toyota lost my business today over a documentation request that should have taken five minutes to fulfill.

It went in for an engine problem that was determined to be covered under my warranty - I was not given a rental to use for an entire week, leaving me with no income. During the course of my cars stay, I think I was given an unprompted follow-up by the staff maybe twice. Can't count how many times I heard "we will give you a call with an update" without hearing anything for over a day, everytime I've gotten an update I've had to reach out. As of yesterday, my car has been in this shop getting its repairs for a MONTH. I am finally going in to pick it up today. This has been a nightmare. I can't speak for the sales department, but given how my engine gave me problems I couldn't have prevented or caused before it even hit 100k mi, I can't even say I recommend Kia as a brand. Holler at Toyota if you want a longer lasting car. And if you're in need of service, with any ability to go elsewhere- drive right past this place and keep going.
