For this reason, they will always get my business unless it is absolutely necessary to go to the Ford dealer (in which case I only recommend Sil-Terhar in Broomfield). My F150 recently needed a new battery, and at the time the old one died for the last time, my heater stopped working. They could have told me that I needed a new heater core, new heat/ac blender actuator, or blender door (all ranging from $250-$400 in repairs). Instead, they took the time to troubleshoot, and only needed to reset the HVAC module - less than an hour's worth of labor and no parts. What's more, they contacted me mid-day (same day) to let me know that it was ready to be picked up. Many other garages would have torn my dashboard apart and gone the wrong way with troubleshooting this. I don't have enough words to express my gratitude for their professionalism!

On I-25 in Longmont, I got a flat tire. When my husband went to change the tire, we discovered that the spare was flat, too. A kind passerby stopped and brought my husband to TDS. They filled the spare and checked it for leaks, without charge. When we were back on the road, we scrapped going to Fort Collins, due to time constraints. I wasn't comfortable driving back to Denver on the spare, so we decided to patronize TDS, since they helped us. We were lucky in that they had one tire in stock for my car, which we bought. We explained our time constraints and they worked quickly to rotate the tires, put the new one on, and put the spare in the trunk. These guys are so helpful and they added some good fortune to our otherwise crummy day. They are kind of out of the way for many people, but if you're in the area and you have tire-related needs, I suggest stopping in. Friendliness and a willingness to go the extra mile is hard to come by these days, so when I experience it, I want the whole world to know!

No warranty is worth having your property taken from you.

I felt sorry that I scuttled a service of this size for them. When presented with a total bill of $30, I countered with an offer of $50 which, of course was accepted. Owning a small business myself, I know what it means to be valued by a customer. -BUT- Rather than running $50 total on the credit card machine, I get a $1.75 service charge slapped on it as well. This once again reminded me that no good deed goes unpunished. Future business of mine will be going to any of their other competitors. Upper management should reacquaint the new location's personnel with the finer points of transactional etiquette.
