I've used Inside Moves several times. Moving is expensive - I'm sure I could get a company to do it for less, but I don't think I'd find a company who did it better. The owner, Ted, gives a fair bid for the services needed. The more info you provide, the more accurate your bid will be. First - in 2009 - Ted moved my son from our house to his first apartment. The guys were fast, shrink-wrapped items to keep them safe, friendly, and gave advice about what to put on first and last on the truck. Quick move in the time allotted - happy customer! The next time I needed them - in early 2011, I had 30 days to move from a 4500 sq ft house to a 1600 sq ft house. Ted's guys came by repeatedly - each time I called - to help me with different aspects of the move. 1st time - came by to pick up furniture that I was giving to friends and relatives: delivered a piano to one friend in Thousand Oaks, a large metal cabinet to another friend in T.O., and a huge desk, file cabinet, book shelf, armoire, king size bed with light bar and mattresses to another person in T.O., and then we were off to Sierra Madre to deliver more furniture to my cousin. Their next visit a week later - move several large pieces of furniture to my new house, and help my uncle pack up his pick-up and trailer with numerous items so he could drive safely back to Sacramento. My uncle is over 70 - so the movers' help was really appreciated and done expertly. Two days before my move - I discover I can't finish packing in time. Ted sends 2 guys over the next day - and they go through my kitchen in no time - packing the entire room, labeling the boxes and then they tackled the rest of the house. They saved my butt. The next day they showed up and packed the truck with everything I needed moved -- took it to my new house, moved in the furniture and packed the garage and living room with the numerous boxes I had - making aisles between the rows of boxes for easy access. Ted left me the wardrobe boxes for a week so I'd have time to unpack my family's clothes; he picked them up the next week - no extra charge. The following morning they were back - they loaded all my boxes that needed to go to storage and filled up my storage space - again neatly stacking the boxes with aisles in between. YES I had a LOT of stuff. AND THEN they followed me back home. I had an entire room full of stuff to donate to Goodwill. So what did they do? They loaded all my donations onto their truck and took it all to Goodwill for me - and mailed me the receipt. I didn't even have to go. I was so overwhelmed with this crazy move occurring in such a short time, and dealing with my elderly mother during the move - and these guys not only did the work, but when my mom began wringing her hands with worry about where stuff was being put and where her things were, Toby came over to talk to her and said "moving is really difficult - what can I help you with? Is there something you need me to find for you?" He took the time to talk to her (because she was driving me crazy) and she calmed right down because he showed her that they were being careful and concerned with her possessions. I just used Inside Moves 3 weeks ago to move my daughter home from school. Why? Because the last time I tried doing it myself it took all day long - back and forth - and I was exhausted and sore - and this time I had a sofa-bed to move.. These guys showed up and 2 1/2 hours later everything was stored in my garage. Yes - I paid a 4-hour minimum - and it was worth every penny. The Long: I moved up from LA to Seattle in search of a college degree. 4 1/2 years later, I moved back down, in need of family contact. My cousin needed to have some things moved out of his home and placed into one of my other relative's home across the city. We initially planned to rent a U-Haul and do the work ourselves, but the items were fairly heavy and definitely needed more than two people to lift and transport. I looked for a moving company around the area and came across InsideMoves123 in Reseda. We scheduled to have them come by the next day at 2 pm, and they came almost exactly on time, give or a take a few minutes! These guys are very attentive and careful at what they do. My cousin had a few fragile items, and they carefully moved and loaded the items from his home, into the moving truck, and transported them to the destination without a single scratch or dent. I was fairly surprised at how fast they moved the items as well, as I figured it would take at least a couple of hours since it would probably take more than one trip. They got the job done in about an hour. The moving crew were all very nice and easy to work with as I gave them instructions on what to do. I would highly recommend Inside Moves as an excellent moving company. Starting from the initial quote - the owner came out personally to meet with us and told us everything we need to know and what to watch out for in getting quotes. His estimate was EXACTLY right - if we would have gone with another moving company we would have run into overtime because they weren't sending out enough guys or trucks. The lead man on the job was professional, and meticulous on what exactly we wanted where. All the packers initially went around the house with us to ensure they knew what we needed. Inside Moves was outstanding during my move. They have a packing service that took all of the stress out of the whole process. I haven't had a move this easy since I was a kid and my parents did all the work. They were friendly, easy to work with and it just made the whole process better. I doubt there is a better moving company in Northridge, not that I'll be trying out anyone else for a while. I had to move to Northridge from West Hills. Just trying to coordinate everything was a nightmare of its own variety. A nightmare I wouldn't look forward to revisiting. My house in the Hollywood Hills had 100 steps leading up to it. Most people haven't quite experienced anything like it. I can't tell you how positive and professional the experience with Inside Moves was, start to finish. A move like this is typically one of the most stressful situations. Me and my wife had only 24 hours to be out for the new tenants, first thing I did was go on the internet and found a company called inside moves and I spoke to the owner ted cotter. He then asked me some questions to get some idea on how much it would cost to move our home. I explained to him we don't have much time and we need to be out within 24 hours. I needed some help moving to my new house and like many people, I just didn't have enough time to pack everything. After extensive research, trying to find a reliable moving company that offered reasonable prices for their services, I decided to give Inside Moves a call. Overall great service. This last time, the screws for my desk and my shelf were not put with my items, causing me to have to toss them away. The movers on the other end of my move, pulled items out of the pod, some boxes and plastic bins were squished due to being on the bottom and carrying too much weight. (not good), and bolts were not included and could not be found and same with the right size dowel. We are now out of the area and will not be using them again. Prior and was not taken seriously, I had one of his movers stalk me. I should have called the police, instead called the owner who only laughed. So be careful ladies. read more

I recommend these guys for being very Honest and very Reliable when it comes to moving I had to move  out of my apartment in December to my new condo and it seemed like a very hard task I gave these guys a call to help me out and they did for a reasonable price. Best moving experience I've ever had. For a local move, they gave me an estimate of $1100-1300 plus another $700 if they packed dishes/loose items/misc. I decided to save money and pack myself so all they would move is boxes and furniture. They finished the move 2 hours sooner than estimated, including furniture disassemble/reassemble, and the final bill was $900, $200 less than their lowest estimate. I used Inside Moves for the third time this past weekend. I moved from Winnetka in the west San Fernando Valley to Marina del Rey. Toby and his crew were great! Very efficient, friendly and resourceful. Two of them remembered me from last time, two years ago! In the instances in which I had items too big for the elevator, Toby ran the items to a staircase and had them over the patio railing and in through the slider in no time flat.
