my boyfriend & i are first time homeowners and was recommended insect iq. we had a really bad bug problem in the beginning since our home wasn't lived in & our neighbors do not get pest control treatments. we had them come out in between services to get the bugs under control. insect iq worked with us and our issues & we are now living in our home bug free! david s. was our technician yesterday. he was so professional, easy to talk to, & answered all of my questions concerning the safety of our puppy. insect iq also sends out a very informative email stating all of the products used. for my own peace of mind i researched the products and discovered insect iq uses all eco friendly and natural products that are safe for people & pets! i love that my family & my puppy is safe from chemicals and nasty bugs. read more

I reached the end of my patience with ants at my house. Every winter, ants make their way into our home. I called Insect IQ on a Tuesday, they were very informative and Priscilla got me signed up and had an appointment for me for Friday from 2:00 -4:00. David, our tech, was at the house at 2:04 pm and was very friendly and courteous. I explained to him my issue and he sprayed inside and out. I have not seen an ant on my property since. Thank you Insect IQ. Today, Ken stopped by the house to see how things were going and make a sure that we were satisfied. We talked for few minutes and nOw I'm even more impressed with the service this company has given me. The price would have been worth it if it cost more, but they are under priced for the service I have received this far. read more

We love our pest control service. We have had other pest control companies that are well known franchises but Insect IQ has the friendliest and most reliable service! They are always willing to answer questions and make recommendations for us. We are always raving to our neighbors who deal with ants indoors like we did about how great Insect IQ is! read more

We have used Insect IQ since moving here back in July of 2018, and we still love their service. Thanks, techs!!

Second treatment done today by David Sanchez. He was not only friendly but very professional and knowledgeable about his field. So far I've had excellent customer service with Insect IQ. Their prices are competitive and honestly I would pay more just because of the quality of customer service they provide. read more

Poor service and expensive. I recently cancelled them due to ongoing issues. I had them for several years, but only had one consistently good technician for a short time.  Once he moved into management, the poor service began.  I had to call them out regularly for redo's because the service was always incomplete and inadequate.  This was evidenced by visible spider webs, obviously unaffected pests, and my camera footage. The techicians spent an average of ten minutes or less at my home at a time. I was told by management the technicians have up to 30 minutes to complete one residential service, and a thorough service should take approximately 20 minutes. I never had a technician stay that long.  I was always given excuses by the technicians as to why the first service was not effective. It was the environment, my home's location, or the weather. However, the redo's were problematic also and never fully addressed any of the issues. For years I remained loyal to this company and tolerated such poor service along with questionable billing statements. The only good thing about the company is the office staff. They are very attentive, courteous and very accomodating. Regrettably, this is the only good thing. It is true about the new ownership. Once this England-based company bought the company from the local owners the problems became even worse and staffing and training became yet another issue. My last service was my final. I have never seen so many new spider webs and insects after a service than I had seen this time. It looked as though I never used a pest control service.  The service has simply continued to decline and has never improved. read more

I called Insect IQ for a quote on regular service and the owner Josh was extremely helpful! He answered the phone every time I called or quickly returned my phone call if he wasn't available. Josh gave me a great deal on his regular service (every 2 months) and had a tech come out to our home 2 days after we spoke which we were extremely happy about because we wanted someone out ASAP! David Sanchez was the tech who came to our house and he was there at 6:45am bright and early to fit us in to his schedule. David was extremely informative about the process and it was clear that David was very knowledgeable. David took his time and worked his way from the inside of our house to the outside very thoroughly. I can't tell you how satisfied we are with Insect IQ! We immediately called Josh to thank him and let him know that he has high quality techs representing his business. If you need a pest control service, I would definitely recommend Insect IQ! read more

Marco was awesome. He took his time to examine and explain everything to us. Took customer service to new level. Thank you Marco, hope to see you again mate. read more

* HIGHLY RECOMMENDED * I had just recently moved from the Bay area to Waterford and was looking for a pest control company that would get a handle on the ant and spider issues in my backyard. My neighbor was kind enough to recommend Insect IQ stating it was a smaller company but the service was exceptional with reasonable prices. I called and recieved a qoute the same day. Pleased with what I had heard , I started service immediately. The next day, I recieved a reminder call to confirm my appointment which I loved since I can be extremely forgetful. Service technician Ken showed up to my house very professional, answered all my questions and explained the service in detail. He's not bad to look at as well I might add ;) I have been with them for alittle over a year now and I am still a very satisfied customer with no issues. If you are looking for great service and love to support any family owned business, call Insect IQ ! I promise you wont be disappointed read more

Contract stipulated they were to do 2 interiors every time they came to apartment complex to do exteriors. When I inquired as to why that hasn't been getting done, Josh explained that its only upon "request" - looked at my contract under "permanent memo" and it clearly states in writing that they are to do up to 2 interiors per visit. Josh concurred that it hasnt been getting done and "hey for $89.00 bucks a month, what do I expect" - nice! - great customer service skills. CANCEL. File dispute with credit card company. read more

Insect IQ sprays a lot of product which controls the ant problem I had. Roaches and other bugs are virtually gone too. I learned over time a consistent bimonthly spray is best program. Only spraying couple times a year let's my neighbors bugs creep back into my property. Bimonthly spraying is required to control my insects as well the neighbor's bugs that are always on the March spreading into my property. read more

Do not sign up with this company. Makes you sign a 12 month contract. Will not let you out of the contract even if you're not happy with their service. Will not let you break contract even if you're moving to another residence. It's $73 every other month and they are that worried about it. Locally owned?? Pretty sure the owner lives out of state. Customer service should be a premium in the service industry. Not sure they believe in this philosophy. You are correct Josh. You did not "make" me sign a contract. When you took over from Harmon (who was a great service provider), I had to sign a one year contract. Very bad decision. I moved to a home with another client that also had entered into a contract with you. You would not them out of their contract even though they did not need your services at their new address as the home did not belong to them . As a result I agreed to fulfill their agreement at that address. In regards to being unhappy with service, I was speaking of a neighbor who will be glad to cancel as soon as your contract is up read more

I was a customer in 2012. I have to say I never had a problem with this company. I have dogs and they never got sick from there chemicals. I regret not going back to them when I moved. Instead I went with orkin. Wrong choice. I have been dealing with drain flies for 7 or more months. And mind you I pay them to get rid of pest. Then they over sprayed and my dogs got very sick. Two months in a row. So after very big vet bills. I am now out of my contract with orkin. Thank god!!! FYI from all the research I have done. There is a company called Do It Yourself Pest Control. You can save a butt load of money and be pest free. They are very friendly, and there customer service is A+. They will help you find what u need. Free shipping and a great return policy. If you for some reason buy the wrong stuff. Like I did. Lol I got rid of my drain flies by using there product in just 7 days. Orkin couldn't get rid of them in 7 months. So I will be doing my own pest contral. Hope this was helpful read more

I've been a happy customer of Insect IQ for about 2 years now and I've got nothing but good things to say. It seems a company providing the types of services Insect IQ offers to its customers can be found anywhere. So what sets them apart from the competition you may ask? Hands down, their customer service. From the sales rep who provided my quote, to the operators on the phone, to the service techs who visit your home, these guys take pride in their work and it shows! I've had the privilege of having Tony as my regular service tech for at least a year. Tony always shows up on time, with a smile on his face, a warm greeting, and with general pride in the service he provides. Tony is informative about the work he provides and never hesitates to resolve any questions or concerns I have. Knowing that these guys have my back for all my pest control needs is very reassuring. I highly recommend Insect IQ to friends and family who ask about pest control service. But the info on Tony is proprietary so consider yourself lucky if you're reading this! To the company's management if you're reading this, no matter how busy Tony gets, he stays on my route! Understood? P.S. Not joking... lol read more

What an outstanding company! Top level service and the technicians are polite, informative and are on time every time. I ended up using insect IQ because the company I was using was just charging me and not providing service. So I was very skeptical and standoffish when I first started using them. But after a short period time they have convinced me that not only do I still have faith in people being honest and having integrity there are still some companies like this one that strive to be the best they can be and go above and beyond all the time. I have a regular service and they are here on time and do a great job. I just called them with a concern I had about a bug I had never seen before and they were here the next day. They treated the house inside and out and took the time to explain what the bug was, how and where it's environment was and how it lives. Wow! Never had anyone do anything close to that! Outstanding job insect IQ hats off to you and your staff! You have a customer for life! Rob read more

My parents recommended Insect IQ to me when we bought our home. I've been with them ever since and couldn't be any more happy with there services. They are always so friendly and helpful. There have been a couple times I've had to change my appointment and they never fail to accommodate us and are so willing to help every time. Customer service is amazing as well. We always request Mong for our services as my parents also recommended to request him and he does a phenomenal job every time! I will defiantly be recommending Insect IQ to anyone looking for pest control! read more

We bought our home back in August 2020. Soon after moving in, we secured Insect IQ. We immediately noticed that every single creepy crawler was gone on day one! We recently obtained Insect IQ for a few critters here and there. Mainly spiders! We will continue using this company because of their professionalism and quality of work. Every six months would make us happy. And our mini Yorkie won't have to chase earwigs, spiders, and roaches to eat. Yukkkk read more

several issues that is making us go to another company: 1. company never contacted us that they kept delaying service. 2. markus came and spent under 10 minutes and did not service backyard, patio or garage. we have cameras in all places and he never went inside any of the places. and we were home. 3. spoke with manager, Oscar and he could care less. made excuses you use a spray that you don't spray anymore. and he just said oh well and hung up. 4. bill increased and we were never told or emailed or texted of the increase. we are not paying this bill for a service NOT done. we know the original owners of insect iq sold their company. and it is definitely noticed. horrible and inexcusable read more

I was referred to this company by a neighbor and I received the BEST professional service for over a year. I decided to take a break to cut back on expenses or I'd still be using Insect IQ Pest Control. I received a first time Sign up deal and was notified via text of upcoming services. The technicians always did a super job getting all the cob webs and addressing any pest issues. They even did an assessment of my yard knowing when there was a problem arising such as ants! I could always trust to leave my gate unlocked because they would give a two hour window time. They were always on time and took the time to do their job correctly. They would leave the invoice on my screen. My Grandchildren and my animals were always safe with the products they used. This is a great company and take pride in customer service! Thank you! I'll be reaching out to you soon to start service again..... read more

Over the last month, Mong & Tony came to our home to deal with a major flea problem we were having. I had been in contact with Justin for a while, talking back and forth via email. Justin was able to schedule us an appointment ASAP. My husband and mother in law were getting bitten like crazy. Inside and outside the home, there were fleas and other bugs attacking them constantly. Justin wanted to make sure it was fleas before he charged us for a flea treatment so he sent Mong to our home. Mong determined right away that it was in fact fleas. He did the first treatment right then. Two weeks later, Tony came for the second course of spraying. Whatever Insect IQ sprayed worked! No one in our home has gotten any new bites since the final spraying. We had let Justin, Mong & Tony know we were bringing a puppy home soon & we wanted to get the flea problem under control. They did exactly that! The chemicals they used were dog safe too! I cannot thank them enough! My husband and mother in law were suffering everyday with those bites. They were constantly itching, bleeding, etc but now they are not thanks to Insect IQ! We used to have another pest control company but they never did anything that helped control the pest problem at our home. We are so happy we made the switch to Insect IQ! read more

Just had our first service with IQ. Wow! What a difference from our previous provider! Our technician was Brianna. She was thorough and thoughtful. She knocked down tons of webs we had even though we've had service for over 2 years with another company as well as 3 wasp nests. She told us the goal is for there to eventually very few, if any, webs to knock down. That's what I'm looking for!! I am very glad we made the switch!! read more
