Poor service and expensive. I recently cancelled them due to ongoing issues. I had them for several years, but only had one consistently good technician for a short time.  Once he moved into management, the poor service began.  I had to call them out regularly for redo's because the service was always incomplete and inadequate.  This was evidenced by visible spider webs, obviously unaffected pests, and my camera footage. The techicians spent an average of ten minutes or less at my home at a time. I was told by management the technicians have up to 30 minutes to complete one residential service, and a thorough service should take approximately 20 minutes. I never had a technician stay that long.  I was always given excuses by the technicians as to why the first service was not effective. It was the environment, my home's location, or the weather. However, the redo's were problematic also and never fully addressed any of the issues. For years I remained loyal to this company and tolerated such poor service along with questionable billing statements. The only good thing about the company is the office staff. They are very attentive, courteous and very accomodating. Regrettably, this is the only good thing. It is true about the new ownership. Once this England-based company bought the company from the local owners the problems became even worse and staffing and training became yet another issue. My last service was my final. I have never seen so many new spider webs and insects after a service than I had seen this time. It looked as though I never used a pest control service.  The service has simply continued to decline and has never improved. read more

I reached the end of my patience with ants at my house. Every winter, ants make their way into our home. I called Insect IQ on a Tuesday, they were very informative and Priscilla got me signed up and had an appointment for me for Friday from 2:00 -4:00. David, our tech, was at the house at 2:04 pm and was very friendly and courteous. I explained to him my issue and he sprayed inside and out. I have not seen an ant on my property since. Thank you Insect IQ. Today, Ken stopped by the house to see how things were going and make a sure that we were satisfied. We talked for few minutes and nOw I'm even more impressed with the service this company has given me. I called Insect IQ for a quote on regular service and the owner Josh was extremely helpful! He answered the phone every time I called or quickly returned my phone call if he wasn't available. Josh gave me a great deal on his regular service (every 2 months) and had a tech come out to our home 2 days after we spoke which we were extremely happy about because we wanted someone out ASAP! David Sanchez was the tech who came to our house and he was there at 6:45am bright and early to fit us in to his schedule. David was extremely informative about the process and it was clear that David was very knowledgeable. Insect IQ sprays a lot of product which controls the ant problem I had. Roaches and other bugs are virtually gone too. I learned over time a consistent bimonthly spray is best program. Only spraying couple times a year let's my neighbors bugs creep back into my property. Bimonthly spraying is required to control my insects as well the neighbor's bugs that are always on the March spreading into my property. read more

Do not sign up with this company. Makes you sign a 12 month contract. Will not let you out of the contract even if you're not happy with their service. Will not let you break contract even if you're moving to another residence. It's $73 every other month and they are that worried about it. Locally owned?? Pretty sure the owner lives out of state. Customer service should be a premium in the service industry. Not sure they believe in this philosophy. You are correct Josh. You did not "make" me sign a contract. When you took over from Harmon (who was a great service provider), I had to sign a one year contract. Very bad decision. I moved to a home with another client that also had entered into a contract with you. You would not them out of their contract even though they did not need your services at their new address as the home did not belong to them . As a result I agreed to fulfill their agreement at that address. In regards to being unhappy with service, I was speaking of a neighbor who will be glad to cancel as soon as your contract is up read more

several issues that is making us go to another company: 1. company never contacted us that they kept delaying service. 2. markus came and spent under 10 minutes and did not service backyard, patio or garage. we have cameras in all places and he never went inside any of the places. and we were home. 3. spoke with manager, Oscar and he could care less. made excuses you use a spray that you don't spray anymore. and he just said oh well and hung up. 4. bill increased and we were never told or emailed or texted of the increase. we are not paying this bill for a service NOT done. we know the original owners of insect iq sold their company. and it is definitely noticed. horrible and inexcusable read more

I was a customer in 2012. I have to say I never had a problem with this company. I have dogs and they never got sick from there chemicals. I regret not going back to them when I moved. Instead I went with orkin. Wrong choice. I have been dealing with drain flies for 7 or more months. And mind you I pay them to get rid of pest. Then they over sprayed and my dogs got very sick. Two months in a row. So after very big vet bills. I am now out of my contract with orkin. Thank god!!! FYI from all the research I have done. There is a company called Do It Yourself Pest Control. You can save a butt load of money and be pest free. They are very friendly, and there customer service is A+. They will help you find what u need. Free shipping and a great return policy. If you for some reason buy the wrong stuff. Like I did. Lol I got rid of my drain flies by using there product in just 7 days. Orkin couldn't get rid of them in 7 months. Contract stipulated they were to do 2 interiors every time they came to apartment complex to do exteriors. When I inquired as to why that hasn't been getting done, Josh explained that its only upon "request" - looked at my contract under "permanent memo" and it clearly states in writing that they are to do up to 2 interiors per visit. The technicians always did a super job getting all the cob webs and addressing any pest issues. They even did an assessment of my yard knowing when there was a problem arising such as ants! I ended up using insect IQ because the company I was using was just charging me and not providing service. So I was very skeptical and standoffish when I first started using them. Over the last month, Mong & Tony came to our home to deal with a major flea problem we were having. I had been in contact with Justin for a while, talking back and forth via email. Justin was able to schedule us an appointment ASAP. My husband and mother in law were getting bitten like crazy. Inside and outside the home, there were fleas and other bugs attacking them constantly. Justin wanted to make sure it was fleas before he charged us for a flea treatment so he sent Mong to our home. Mong determined right away that it was in fact fleas. He did the first treatment right then. Two weeks later, Tony came for the second course of spraying. Whatever Insect IQ sprayed worked! No one in our home has gotten any new bites since the final spraying. We had let Justin, Mong & Tony know we were bringing a puppy home soon & we wanted to get the flea problem under control. They did exactly that! The chemicals they used were dog safe too! I cannot thank them enough! My husband and mother in law were suffering everyday with those bites. They were constantly itching, bleeding, etc but now they are not thanks to Insect IQ!
