Ms. Sierra Harper came out to address a bug built up in my lawn and from what I have learned a possible self-inflected wound where removal of gravel from an area near my home may have forced some roaches hiding in that area to migrate to my home. Anyway, she retreated the carpeted areas of my decks front and back and came inside and put some roach treatment under my desk where one roach was found by me earlier but was unable to kill. So far, the roach has not appeared again, nor have I seen it dead on the carpet, but she has given 100% of effort to try and assist my needs. She has always been helpful and that is the main reason I requested she be assigned as my permanent technician. I truly thank her for her help. read more

Sierra is by far the best pest control technician there is. She makes sure all the webs are completely gone and thoroughly sprays my home. They are always on time, always flexible with my schedule and more importantly, they truly take care of the pests. The first time I ever called insect IQ was when a black widow got in my car. The amount of mental martial arts that it took to get me back into that car is something I will never forget. Black widows are no joke, I've been bitten once before on a summer night and had the unfortunate experience of full body cramping, swelling and nausea. What amazing service this company gives! I was having an issue with red flour beetles and Tony would not give up until the issue was resolved. And believe me when I say, it was a BIG problem!! We initially paid the service fee for such an infestation, but, unfortunately, it did not do the job. I have used this company a few years now and it was great. Lately the staff performing the service do a horrible performance, they didn't take off all spider webs, went out to my back yard on that same afternoon and there was a black widow spiderweb and spider still alive. They have gotten lazy, it took them 5 min or less to spray my whole house and take spider webs off a didn't even get them all. Reps doing the service are new. Canceling my service on Monday if you want a good pest control company look elsewhere. I did try to communicate my concerns before I canceled my service seems like they don't care what the customers concerns. read more

Insect IQ is totally awesome. We had them first at a house we were renting. They helped us deal with more than just insects. When we found mice in our garage, they mentioned they have services to fight mice as well. We paid for a couple of traps, they explained how they worked and checked them every visit. When we were finally able to buy our own house we were so satisfied that we carried Insect IQ to our new address. Same GREAT service. This is where we met Tony. After one visit I knew I wanted Tony all the time. He is friendly and professional and carefully explains what he is doing every time he stops by. The technician providing our service today was polite and friendly. He did an excellent job cleaning spider webs off the house and was careful applying the insecticide. We have them use organic insecticide which works well for our needs. We have been using Insect IQ for about 3 years and feel they do a good job and are reasonably priced. read more

I had been a loyal costumer for over five years, recently have had a problem with ants. We've never had ants in our kitchen and bottom bedroom until our neighbor cut his palm trees down. We explained this to our IQ serviceman, he sprayed inside our home and outside parameter (he stated) but to no avail, it's been two months and we continue to have a problem with ants. I scheduled another appointment for service and the last technician said he will spray parameter around pool and yard but as soon as the sprinklers turn on it would wash off. I told technician we would keep sprinklers off for a week and then turn them on, the technician suggested not to turn sprinklers on anymore as it would break barrier so use water hose to water backyard. At first I thought he was joking but I soon realized he wasn't. We continued to have ants after he last sprayed. I finally texted a note to cancel service and made a follow up call to confirm cancellation of service. It seemed they didn't care but the bottom line is the service we paid for was not helpful at all which is so disappointing. I strongly do not recommend this company unless you want to throw your money away to pay for nothing. read more

They used to be fabulous. The original owners were always conscientious, punctual and helpful. I never had a single issue for about 13 years. Then they sold the company. Something happened beginning in December-January of this year. They missed an appointment and then scheduled and rescheduled. They made all sorts of excuses. And, it kept going downhill. This past service was even more absurd there was a 4 hour window. I waited at home and I waited downstairs for them. They said they came by but could not go inside because nobody was home. But, I was home waiting (I didn't even take a shower because I was sitting around waiting for them). When I called and said I was home, the door bell was working, and they could have knocked plus I would have also seen them since I was sitting downstairs he said he had a description of the property from the person who was servicing the property. I finally was so disgusted I called another company. Disappointing, inexcusable and perplexing. read more

I was referred to this company from a friend. I had plans to call many different companies throughout Modesto to get the best price, BUT when I hung up the phone with one of their employees named Priscilla, I knew I was going to chose this company. I'm still in awe and admiration for the exceptional customer service that she provided. I had about 50 questions and not only did she answer each one with such a pleasant voice,but she gave me even more information that I didn't know about what a Pest Control company can do for me. Just interacting with Priscilla alone, is enough to get 4 stars. She's the first person that i spoke with, that represented this company, and she has represented the company well! Now the quality of the services is 5 stars! I have dealt with the technician named David S. He ALWAYS has a smile on his face and answers any questions I have. He cleans the webs off of the exterior and hasn't missed any webs. He's EXTREMELY thorough in every service and patient as I try to get my dogs inside/outside the house so he can continue. I've noticed that I no longer have any pests inside the house nor outside with just the first service. Every time he finishes spraying the house, I noticed that he gets every corner and inch of the property. Omgosh! Tony is the nicest guy ever! I hit the jackpot when we get Tony, all jokes aside he is just super nice, friendly and knowledgeable!
