Ok people...here's a review from a former Technician of Insect IQ's. I am a 23 year licensed former employee of Josh Haslem and Insect IQ. There is a reason why I am even sitting here typing this out. I had worked for a total of 7 companies before leaving the industry last year. Josh was actually my last boss before making my decision and I am actually personally mentioned in one of these reviews for my service to a valued customer of theirs. I feel my words can help a future customer make a better choice for their pest control needs/wants. This company was the BEST company I had ever worked for...PERIOD!!! There's a reason why the employees at Insect IQ are the best...and that's the owner Josh. Because he cares so much about his customers, he cares so much to only hire the best out there...No Schlubbs allowed. The work environment there is professional, nurturing, caring, educating, and family oriented. To a Field Rep. that means a ton. My pay was always correct and never late....commissions were always correct as well as overtime. I had the best support from Josh and the company...anything I needed to correctly perform my duties were provided to me. Continued education courses and regular staff meetings were made fun by Josh and Management...special prizes and lunches were a norm and we were rewarded for our pest industry knowledge. The equipment I used were top of the line gear and the trucks were our responsibility to keep clean...rolling billboards/offices need to reflect our pride for what we do and who we represent. The office staff is second to none and the management is a service technicians dream...anything we needed as long as the customers came first. Josh believes in Family and that's what he made us at Insect IQ...a Family. I could've retired in a company as good as this. We have been using Insect IQ for several years now. Last summer I noticed that we had a severe rat infestation. I tried trapping them myself but that was futile, especially when I couldn't find the rat trap after setting it out the previous night. I called Josh and he came over that afternoon. He set out several bait traps. Within a few days I was picking up dead rats all over the backyard. His technicians would refill the bait traps everytime they came out to spray. We haven't seen a rat,dead or alive in several months. This service was done as part of our regular service. I was stunned! A good friend had a similar issue with rats and his "famous" pest control company charged him an exorbitant surcharge in addition to his regular fee. I recommend this company to everybody I know. They are very responsive and will keep coming back until we, the customer, are completely satisfied. We use Insect IQ at my rental homes as well. Tenants are completely satisfied. This is a family owned business and they treat us as if we are part of the family. I cannot say enough positives about this company. Excellent value for the price. We have had a pest control service for over 15 years in our current home . Unfortunately, we lost our service technician with another company and struggled getting the same level of great service we had become accustomed to over the years. This ultimately led us to make a change in service carriers. We began service with Insect I.Q. approx. 2 months ago and are definitely impressed!! The professionalism, quality of workmanship and the detail with which their technician "Tony" does his job is amazing. A few years ago, I used another pest control company that ended up causing me a lot of grief as I had to constantly call them to return and re-spray or clean up messes they had left. I called Insect IQ about 3-4 years ago and have been so happy with their service ever since. I honestly can't remember a time since utilizing their service that we've seen any ants or other insects or rodents on our property. No matter who shows up to provide the service, they are extremely professional and helpful in answering any questions we have. In fact, this company has worked out so well at my residence, that I just hired them to provide exclusive services to the hospital I manage. Had VANISH pest control for 25 years with no problems. However, Vanish quit servicing the Escalon/Manteca/Modesto area. Did research on pest control companies that were local. Landed on INSECT IQ and have nothing but good comments to say about their service. I've had three different service technicians - each being clean, attentive and professional. I am informed well in advance of service dates and times so if changes need to be made the change can be accommodated. The technicians are on time and I have been extremely happy with the quality of service I receive. I've had this company for years now. Before them I had Clark and before that Terminix. Terminix was very disappointing. I still had ants and webs everywhere. Clark was good, but very expensive. Insect IQ has been a perfect fit for me. They are a fair amount less than Clark, and I think they are definitely better. I think they do a better job of taking their time and making sure to get all the bugs and webs. They also are very friendly. I think that is because they are a small company. I try to use small local companies when I can, and though it doesn't always work out, in this case it did. I love the service I get from Insect IQ. I don't think I will be switching ever again. read more

I started using Insect IQ about two years ago because of an ant problem we where having, I've never seen an ant problem like this before. They came out explained what they where going to do & what we needed to do. The bottom line is it has been 2 years and I have not seen an ant anywhere around my house. What I like about Insect IQ is that they call the day before they are coming over and the first thing they do when they get to my home is ask if there is anything special they need to take care of. David is a tremendous asset to your team! He is on time, polite and goes above and beyond on every visit! He answers questions and provides input on things to look for, like what types of trees attract rodents. I am in management and wish I had a team of people like him working for me, just a solid hardworking man. I am a tenant in a house that these guys service. Although I don't pay for the service(the landlord does), I had to write a review to say how good these guys are. The tech really goes the extra mile. He moves my kids toys on the lawn before spraying and always asks if there is anything else he can do for us. He gets all the webs and sprays very thoroughly. The last company we had only sprayed around the foundation and never wiped down the webs. If the landlord every stops paying for the service, I will take it up and pay for it myself. I have used insect IQ two times in the past. First for an ant problem and i did not sign a year long contract. They did guarantee it for three months and honestly, the ants never came back for 3 years! I since then moved into a new residence. Started seeing some roaches in my garage and decided to call them again. This time i did agree to a contract. The price was so good i decided it was worth it. The technicians are good with my dogs and they even call me ahead of time to let me know they are on their way. I recomend them any time i can. read more

I want to give a big shout out to insect IQ. They have taken care if my elderly parents home. My father being very ill. My mother felt it best to cancel for financial reasons. Josh was great worked with her and made it an easy process at a very difficult time. He was kind, courteous and thoughtful. David is My Tech and he always asks Me if there are any special things that i need done each time he comes, I have 4 dogs and he has really worked on spraying the yard very well each visit. He also works on the Red Ants in the summer. Very well versed in his job, Friendly, respectful, and can not beat the price, I like that they will come back if You feel enough wasn't done. These guys are great! I had a large pest control company before. They were okay but very expensive. Then I switched to these guys. They're local, they care, they do a superb job and somehow they do it for less than what I was paying. They got rid of all my ants and spiders and even cleaned the webs off of my home and fenceline! I have used this company for about 5 years now. They do a really good job. If I ever have a problem in between they come back out for free. They are very friendly and professional.
