The Myofascial Release therapy that Val and Emily specialize in was extremely therapeutic. I am back to enjoying life. I can do yoga now, I am pain free and I feel great! I highly recommend this physical therapy practice to anyone suffering from post surgical problems, or if you have pain of any kind. They also have a warm therapy pool that was great for my stiffness and pain, so I am sure it's good for arthritis and joint problems, too. I love their therapy dog, Pedals, she is so sweet!

He did a thorough assessment and taught me a lot of stretching and strengthening exercises to do that have really helped. Since January of 2020 when I had both my knees replaced, I got done with the in-patient p.t. from the hospital just as the coronavirus closed a lot of places, and we inquired about using Zoom to avoid out-patient p.t., and got help from Glen in instituting virtual outpatient p.t. via Zoom. We had one in-home visit with social distancing and face masks while he evaluated my knees and suggested how to layout the living room and use my wife's laptop computer to facilitate virtual therapy thereafter. We have had five or six visits this way, and it works very well. Occasionally Glen with my permission records some of the exercises and sends me a video clip to review, as well as emailing PDFs of various stretching exercises. On my post-surgical review visit my surgeon's office was very pleased with how I am doing. I think Glen is knowledgeable and makes good suggestions, and is someone who is constantly engaging in professional training and adapting to the new situation. Highly recommend his services and thank him for his good work. I will add that it helps that my wife could hold the laptop and follow me around as I did the exercises so Glen could see what I did in a variety of situations and make suggestions.

I must admit I was very leery of the services they would have here - I mean come on - I'm from San Francisco and lived in NY, places where spa services are top notch all over the city, and I'm here in MAINE?? How good can a deep massage REALLY be in a small town of Maine? Well, I'm glad I can say I was proven WRONG! I had a one-hour treatment with Tiffany, and let me tell you - her knowledge and skill could have presented her from any cosmopolitan city - San Fran, NY, LA, etc. (but not Boston: sorry, but i had two different experiences in Boston that definitely was not at that level). I gave specific areas to be worked on, and she knew exactly what to do, and then some! I loved that she wanted to know exactly what I wanted - more of a general body massage? or more time on a specific area? - the latter of which is what I needed (iliopsoas/iT band,etc). She really went in there, slowly and carefully, and yes, DEEPLY and THOROUGHLY. She made sure I knew what was going on, and during the whole time was very pleasant to chat with, as well as making my session informative. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone. I also want to make note that Tiffany told me she was the youngest person (by experience there), and that only let me know how solid and serious the spa represents itself. I believe it has been around for over 10 years, and I guess their word-of-mouth is so entrusted as it even can be difficult to find a time slot to come in.
