She does real bodywork and found the points in my shoulder that were giving me issues all the way down to my wrist and hand. After that first hour, I decided it was worth coming back for 90 minutes at a time to allow for this more targeted work as well as get a full-body massage, which combined deep tissue, stretch and more traditional Swedish techniques. Anna was one of only a few massage therapists I have encountered who talked to me about stretches and at-home ways to alleviate the same-old same-old problems I (and many others who spend all day hunched over a computer) have.... she is both knowledgeable and dedicated. Ching's expertise in deep emotional work came as a great gift, helping me slowly navigate the layers. He didn't "cure" anything; that's not his role. What he did was help free things up from the depths where they were hiding, and then bolstered my strength and clarity so I could do the personal work I needed to do. A year or so down the road, I am more free than I have ever been. And I cannot overstate the value of Ching's caring and intuitive support in getting here.
