I feel quite honored to be the first reviewer of Endless Spa here on Yelp. : )…read more I was visiting the area for a couple weeks with my partner in July, and needed a massage BADLY, as I had been traveling up and down East Coast/New England, and in and out of houses, with no time for real exercise or stretching, for the past 4 weeks. I must admit I was very leery of the services they would have here - I mean come on - I'm from San Francisco and lived in NY, places where spa services are top notch all over the city, and I'm here in MAINE?? How good can a deep massage REALLY be in a small town of Maine? Well, I'm glad I can say I was proven WRONG! I had a one-hour treatment with Tiffany, and let me tell you - her knowledge and skill could have presented her from any cosmopolitan city - San Fran, NY, LA, etc. (but not Boston: sorry, but i had two different experiences in Boston that definitely was not at that level). I gave specific areas to be worked on, and she knew exactly what to do, and then some! I loved that she wanted to know exactly what I wanted - more of a general body massage? or more time on a specific area? - the latter of which is what I needed (iliopsoas/iT band, etc). She really went in there, slowly and carefully, and yes, DEEPLY and THOROUGHLY. She made sure I knew what was going on, and during the whole time was very pleasant to chat with, as well as making my session informative. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone. I also want to make note that Tiffany told me she was the youngest person (by experience there), and that only let me know how solid and serious the spa represents itself. I believe it has been around for over 10 years, and I guess their word-of-mouth is so entrusted as it even can be difficult to find a time slot to come in. So just make sure if you are in Damariscotta/Newcastle area, to call ahead. Thank you Tiffany and Endless Spa for making a summer vacation in Maine even more relaxing!

It quickly became clear, however, that I was in the presence of a rare practitioner, and there was something far more significant than a round of bursitis for us to approach together. I'd just gone through a divorce, and was dealing with the immediate grief, a lingering problem with depression, and the residue of older pain that I'd never processed. Ching's expertise in deep emotional work came as a great gift, helping me slowly navigate the layers. He didn't "cure" anything; that's not his role. What he did was help free things up from the depths where they were hiding, and then bolstered my strength and clarity so I could do the personal work I needed to do. A year or so down the road, I am more free than I have ever been. And I cannot overstate the value of Ching's caring and intuitive support in getting here. There's a poem I love from Rumi, the famed 13th century Sufi mystic: The way of love is not a subtle argument; the door there is devastation. Birds make great sky-circles of their freedom. How do they learn it? They fall, and falling, they're given wings. My unending gratitude to Ching for helping me find those wings.

In a basement with very low-lighting and little windows. Went in for a couples massage and we had to go one after the other. They said because they didn't have two masseuses the price would be discounted but we ended up paying more than the listed price on the door. The massage experiences was terrible as well. The lady walked in on me while changing and didn't leave the room and watched me change. I got on the bed with a towel and underwear on and she ripped the towel and underwear off of my body. She never asked before hand if I was comfortable with this and I was extremely nervous. The masseuse got ON TOP of the bed with me and straddled my naked body with her legs and i was very uncomfortable. I was never asked for a massage preference and it was very rough and unpleasant. When leaving a tip for the receipt the lady was very weird about me signing it. I attempted to pick the receipt up to look at it and she kept her hand pressed on it so she could watch me write the number for a tip. I tipped very well. As soon as I was done she took the paper and examined it and looked at me like I had not tipped enough. EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
