Dolly sat down to talk with me about what I was looking for. I even showed her pictures of what my former stylist had done. I've never had a stylist sit down and want to know what I was looking for. Let's talk about the fabulous experience at the shampoo bowl. Oh. My. So relaxing. The entire salon is relaxing. The music. The plants. Anyway, back to the hair. I loved watching Dolly do her craft. It was true artistry. My hair looks and feels absolutely incredible! I am so glad I found Dolly. I'm so thankful she had a spot for me. Give her a call. She didn't even pry my hair in sections. She literally was just chopping away. My hair cut usually takes 45 minutes and Yvonne took 15 minutes. I have wavy/curly hair and normally they have to blow dry it straight after the cut to check if all the layers is even.... Nope not her.... She even told me does your patients question you when you treat them?? HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!! As u can see the two sides just have chinned blobs! She BUTCHERED my hair. And after the service she had the nerve to tell me it's ok you still have plenty of hair left. You can come back if you don't like it..... I have never been this livid with a hair cut. Waited less than a minute for my stylist, Amelia, and we went to work. Showed her my hairstyle, and she set to work. She did *precisely* what I asked for, but I've never done that hairstyle before...and I hated it. Mini mental freakout, admitted I didn't like it, and she said, "No problem! We have TONS of time. Really. This happens all the time. Don't even worry about it." She redid my hair about two more times (total time spent on my hair was 45mins), and it was finally perfect. She said, "I'm doing something back here (on the back of my head) that you didn't ask for, but I think you'll like it. It's very "bridal"." She was right. My hair was perfect. Afterwards, she moved me to do my makeup. She gave me a granola bar and more water, reminding me I wouldn't be eating for hours, and we chatted about tons of stuff while she didn't my makeup. Both hair and makeup turned out beautifully, and I thanked her a million times for keeping me calm and staying flexible. After that first hour, I decided it was worth coming back for 90 minutes at a time to allow for this more targeted work as well as get a full-body massage, which combined deep tissue, stretch and more traditional Swedish techniques.
