When they arrived for the install, we asked them to pull their box truck up to our front lawn, where there was plenty of room and access to the kitchen. Despite being explicitly asked to pull their truck to our front door and not the backyard, they attempted to drive up to our back door, took our short steel linked fence out of the ground, damaging a raised garden bed, (as well as leaving ruts in our yard) in the process. They also drove- then idled- their box truck, full of marble countertops, directly over our septic tank. We documented everything with photos, Ring videos, and written communications to discuss with Granite Guys management. After the installers left, we also discovered that one of the two sink installations in the kitchen was prominently off-center (photo attached). After we reached out to Granite Guys, the owner of the company came out to look at the damage. He acknowledged that his staff made a serious mistake with the install, then looked me in the eye and shook my hand as he promised that they would return to perform our spring cleanup as compensation and to resolve the issue. I accepted and emailed the administrator that he had agreed to perform a spring cleanup and I would reach out again then. The administrator responded and confirmed they took responsibility for the issues in the yard. On March 28th I emailed them again and asked them to come for the spring cleanup. For the next five weeks, I received very little communication from them. After unanswered emails, they responded on the morning of May 4th that they would be coming later that same day. Two guys showed up in a pickup truck, got out, took pictures of the lawn area my husband had already repaired, rang the Ring doorbell at the garage door exactly once, and then left. I emailed Granite Guys once again asking why they had left without taking care of the yard, and have not heard back. I have been attempting, unsuccessfully, to resolve this privately and patiently with Granite Guys. Though my husband was able to repair our yard, the flaw in our $7,000 countertops is permanent. Granite Guys Inc. cannot be trusted and should be avoided at all costs.

Michael and crew promptly showed up, reviewed overall project layout and got started quickly and efficiently. Of all the quotes I received, Michael went into the most detail providing the proper measurements I was looking for; excavate 8-10 inches, add 8 inches of base, then 2 inches of base asphalt and 2 inches of top asphalt. They went above and beyond to make sure that the existing driveway and new driveway graded properly so that it all looked like one. Prior yo driveway being redone, we had lots of water/drainage issues and Michael's crew graded our driveway to allow proper flow of water as well as redid our berm so that the water coming down the street will stay away!
