It needed to get completely renovated since the peeling shower panels and broken tiles led to rotten boards beneath. We picked the general floor color and asked for white subway tiles with a splash of color and let them decide the rest - and LOVED what they came up with! Our whole bathroom went from being a source of constant anxiety (feeling the floor sink beneath you as you step is always worrisome) to a great little space made for easy living. THANK YOU!!! Knowing that it looks great but more importantly is a safe space to enter again is a real relief.

I initially had reservations about using a designer in general because I wasn't sure how everything would look and I wanted my house to be mine after everything was said and done. Allen was very receptive to my concerns and helped both me and my fiance understand the remodeling process and helped to keep in in control of the process. His suggestions ended up being exactly what I was looking for and then some! He was even able to help me work around the restrictions of my condo association which was amazing! Allen and his team at Sovereign Design Associates are simply fantastic. We entered into a full home…read moreremodel and huge addition with a lot of trepidation. Essentially, most of our house was demo'd for this major project. We were nervous about everything, cost, design, etc and Allen walked us through each step, making us extremely confident about the project. He is very thoughtful and experienced when it comes to both function and thinking long term to resale value. Allen made many suggestions that we did not know were even possible to increase the functionality of our (new) home. We are now in the midst of the renovation/addition and he is still involved in the process to make sure we are happy with the design. I really cannot say enough about him as well as the contractor that he referred us to. We would highly recommend Allen and SDA (so much so that 2 of our neighbors are planning to work with him in the near future)!

I'd strongly advise against using this closet company. A designer came to our house twice to check…read moremeasurements prior to installation and promised that the exposed beam at the top of the closet space would be covered by the crown molding, which we paid extra for. Not only was the beam left uncovered, but the installers also left a sizable hole to the side of the closet. Now we're going to have to spend more money to hire a contractor to fix the mess Closets by Design left behind. Moreover, when I called to express my dissatisfaction, the company only offered to refund the cost of the crown molding. They took the designer's side, even when I made it clear that I asked twice whether they were able to cover the beam and that she assured me they could. I'd avoid both the company and the designer (Cindy).
