I reached out to Alvino for consultation as he was offering it for free and I was really pleased to see that he was very quick to respond to my queries and prioritized my work.  What made me write this review is the fact that Alvino proved to be an honest, hardworking man who didn't pressure me into making any commitments that would add any unnecessary expenses.  He gave me one days time to get the work done and on the day when I asked him to get some extra work done, he was really accommodating. He fixed some big cracks in the grouting for me and I found his work to be very neat and clean. He was very respectful of my property, which I really appreciated. He remained masked for the entirety of the appointment.. If you are looking for a hardworking and honest man to work on your project, I would highly recommend Alvino. In-fact, once this pandemic is over, I intend to get Alvino's help for more projects around the house.

It included color sealing a tiled kitchen counter with extremely stained grout that could not be cleaned. Also color sealing three floors and two tiled bay windows. Everything is completely transformed. It's early days, but even the countertop has been easy to maintain despite the insults of a busy kitchen. We had one glitch. The technician applied samples of several colors to each part of the job. The one I picked for one of the floors looked very unattractive to me once it was applied to the entire floor. It wasn't Sir Grout's fault, but Chris worked with me to find a very fair solution. By the time the technician left the floor looked great. I also showed Chris a fully tiled bathroom. Aside from the floor, which we did color seal, Chris recommended skipping that room since it is in such good shape and showers can get expensive. It is refreshing to find a company that does not oversell. I think that Chris takes a very long term view of his company and values loyal customers over short term revenue. So I can highly recommend Sir Grout!

We had red oak floors circa 1990 and wanted to make them a more modern looking gray tone, which can be challenging to do right. Geovane was very patient and explained things clearly upfront - we could sand the floors down and go gray, but there might still be some red tones from the wood that show through. He then brought out three different stains and did tests on the floor so we could pick what we liked. We ended up preferring one, but it was still not quite right. So Geovane did one more adjustment, which came out perfectly! His crew is incredibly hardworking and kind. Everyone was very careful about wearing masks. They came, brought all of the tools needed, and did a superb job. We loved their work so much that we ended up hiring them for more and more. All in all, they stained all of the existing hardwood floors for us, removed carpet from bedrooms, replaced it with new hardwood, stained the new hardwood to match, removed carpet tiles in the basement, replaced that with new vinyl flooring (which we got to choose from multiple samples), AND replaced all the balusters in our stairs. Oh, and they removed existing built-in cabinets from the walls with the utmost care and recycled them for us. Beyond that, they picked up on small details that could use a small improvement (e.g. doors that were sticking, plastic vents that could be replaced with much nicer wood vents, etc.) and did them for us. Everything was thoughtfully done with great communication and an eye for detail. Rates were highly reasonable and the work was done very efficiently (three weeks for everything!).
