It is covered under warranty, however the repair has to be done at the shop and the parts can not be given to the customer under warranty to fix themselves. With my schedule full as Coach, delivering the equipment is not feasible any time soon, so I requested a pick up. I was told that transport would not be covered under the warranty from the manufacture. Understood, but as a service and sales business I would think extreme ownership would be the culture. You sold the equipment and it broke due to faulty parts, and the resolution is to inconvenience your customer and force them to pay more money for transporting the equipment you sold for something that is covered under warranty. This is pretty poor service and lack of ownership to correct an issue.

How did they know? I'm guessing the post card was for the previous owner of my home, who sold me the mower with the home. Sure why not? They even volunteered to pick up my mower. This would be the first time in 4 years that I would have the mower professionally serviced. Fortunately, I was at home at the time of pick up. I had already purchased several items to service the mower myself. I gave the pick up driver a quarter of oil, air filter, oil filter, deck belt, blades, alternator, etc...(see attached pictures). I was credited $35 for my supplies. Oh, I forgot to say I was called 2 weeks after the mower pick up and told it would cost $1237.42 to service my mower. Wow! I couldn't remember if I gave them a mower or a car. But I said to myself, the mower is gonna look like new. I get the return delivery, after being warned that they couldn't use my blades. I was told my blades were the wrong ones, so they just sharpened the existing ones. They don't look sharpened and they look the same style as the new ones. My blades were returned to me. (Thank you) My deck belt was not changed, nor returned. The pick up driver said I only gave him a bag supplies. (Not true. Were the blades in a bag?) My mower was still filthy and had grass clippings on it. They say they repaired my existing oil leak, but they didn't clean the old oil and dirt off the mower. (I did tell you that I paid them $1237.42, right?) I called to ask about the deck belt and why the mower was still dirty. The reynolds farm equipment rep defended his driver and said they didn't receive my deck belt. I told him I would double check my garage just to confirm what I already knew. And he ask me to send pictures, which I did. I asked should my mower have been a little cleaner for what I paid? He told me he would give my photos and pictures to the service manager and have him contact me. It's been 2 weeks now and I haven't received an answer or a call. They said they did a fuel additive, but they left no fuel in the mower. They said i needed a new battery (not sure how true that is). They sold me 1 new tire, but didn't bother to put any of the tire stem caps back on. They did change the oil and spark plug. Please check out the photos. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone. I'm not saying they didn't do anything, but I'll let you be the judge if what they did was worth $1237.42 (And don't forget, they credited me $35 for my "basic" supplies.
