We were told they would get to us, but it would be a couple of hours as there were a few jobs already ahead of us. They arrived in what we considered a very timely fashion, especially on a Saturday afternoon. They listened to what I explained as the issue, observed the clean out, and knew exactly what to do. They ran the auger approximately 100 feet and you could hear it breaking through the tree roots. Upon retracting the auger, the roots were very evident on the cable and the claw. The service guy was very friendly and explained what he was doing through the whole process. He was extremely willing to answer all my questions. We were expecting to pay $500-$600 for this kind of service on a weekend. I was very pleasantly surprised when he said it was $305. I would definitely recommend Schoonover Sewer Services and I would definitely use their services again if needed!

I became suspicious of the aging inducer motor as it was loud and, suddenly one cold day, we were no longer getting heat and the red-green LED indicator lights on the furnace were flashing a code for service. For HVAC service, there are many providers in our area, but we went with one based on a recommendation of a family we know--we chose to try P&P Heating and Cooling Service. Scheduling was easy with great help from office manager, Stephanie, and we met Daren as he arrived, right on time, to help us out. Within a few minutes, he confirmed the diagnosis of a bad inducer and left to get one from his warehouse. A few minutes later, Daren called me and told me great news: he had the exact motor needed for my furnace (so we didn't have to wait for an ordered motor) and, in the meantime, he contacted American Standard directly for us and had the new motor covered under our American Standard warranty! He went above-and-beyond, in our minds, by doing this for us. I sincerely feel that Daren treated us with the same honest care--including checking the warranty coverage--that he would provide for himself or his own family. We are extremely pleased with our first experience with P&P, and will call on them for our service needs going forward. Before I had the work completed, I got a quote for the plumbing job and was told it would be $115 an hour. So, I went ahead and scheduled the service. It took 30 minutes to complete the job, so imagine my surprise when I get an invoice for $190!!!! That math doesn't quite add up. I called to get clarification and they basically told me that the plumbers "set their own rates." So what good is getting a quote at all??? Basically, they just charge what they want. I will never ever use this service again. Plenty of other honest plumbing services in the area.

They typically come either same day or next day, with absolutely no additional emergency service charge. The focus is on taking the appropriate time to properly diagnose your plumbing issue, then providing you with the right fix. Then, to top it all off, their charges are very fair and reasonable. Unlike many other services, there is NO attempt to overcharge. In fact, they are probably undercharging as any other plumbing service would charge much more for the exact same service, some probably two to three times as much. So, do yourself a favor, if you have a plumbing problem to fix, give them a call. They will come out fairly promptly, give you the exact fix you need, and charge you a very reasonable price. Avoid the other competition that loves to price gouge customers.

Yea great you don't charge me for the part but most other company's charge around $60 to $70 per hour and if part is under warranty they charge the company that made the unit for their time.

Although I did receive the service charge quote from others, Scott Griffith of Xtreme Mechanical actually gave me the best idea of what I might expect to pay on an hourly basis (though I understand that quoting specifics of a job really have to be done in person and not over the phone). And he was the only one who committed to an early schedule while others could not because they had no access to their dispatch calendar at the time. I think that as service manager, this gave Scott an advantage to make that decision and I'm grateful he did so. He was able to address all the possible factors and ultimately resolved the problem after first making sure by thorough testing that it was indeed fixed. We have a warm home again!
