They kept it for several days then called me to say the repair would be $600 and that my mower was not worth fixing. Charged me $86 for the estimate. Gave me a written invoice claiming they removed the carb float bowl and found the carb needed to be replaced along with some other work. Attached is a pic of the carb I removed from the mower and as you can clearly see the bowl was never removed. They lied. After taking the carb in and showing it to them and asking for my $86 back the owner initially said he would not refund my money. After several phone calls they eventually did the right thing and issued a full refund. I bought a new carb online for $38, installed it myself in an hour and now the mower runs fine. There are too many other Deere dealers in this area to waste your time and money on Cross.
