She worked to find exactly the shade I was describing She also fixed the uneven lengths and shapes from the botched job in Dallas The salon is very pleasant with no TVs but instead pleasant instrumental music and a babbling fountain Manicures are performed in the front of the salon (but well back from the window) and the spa pedicure chairs are in the back half behind some dividing walls With Covid, there are plexiglass shields at each station with only every other station utilized Everyone wore masks, techs and clients alike

I wish I could give zero stars. I made an appointment for…read morea manicure and pedicure three weeks ago. The salon texted me to confirm it, and I confirmed. I arrived a few minutes early and found a CLOSED sign on the door, even though it was in the middle of the day, when the website clearly says they are open. I could see inside. I SAW THE OWNER DUCK DOWN BEHIND THE NAIL BAR, HIDING FROM ME, AND TRYING NOT TO BE SEEN. Another technician looked directly at me, looked toward the owner, crouching on the floor, laughed, and then went back to her phone. I knocked on the door and was simply ignored. The owner finally stood up and looked at me, clearly embarrassed to have been caught in this ruse. I left, disgusted. After I returned to my car, I texted the owner to let her know how upset I was and that I intended to leave a negative review. Only then did she leave me a voicemail saying she was worried because I had "missed" my appointment. That was ridiculous, considering I had been standing outside the salon, knocking on the door, while she and her employee inside clearly saw me. This also follows a pattern that has made me increasingly uncomfortable. The owner frequently criticizes other nail salons and talks at length about how unsanitary their practices supposedly are, while presenting her salon as the only safe and clean alternative in town. I have always found that kind of criticism of competitors unprofessional and unnecessary. Being treated this way after confirming an appointment and driving 30 minutes was incredibly disrespectful of me and my time. I have a special event to attend tonight and I was counting on getting a manicure and pedicure. If I had read these other reviews, I would never have even started going to this place. I hope I can save others the aggravation. I have never experienced anything as unprofessional in my entire life.
