Just a few days after I picked up a brand new car from the dealership, I took the car to this shop for full PPF and tinting. Here's the list of problems that I had:
1- They forgot to reattach the rear badge so I had to go back again. a rookie mistake.
2- Rear turn signal malfunction light came on after the initial visit. First, he told me that it'd go away after I drive it around. It never resolved. Second time I took it in, he said he couldn't clear the code and I needed to go to the dealership to clear it. It turns out they simply didn't connect the cable properly. It shows level of their professionalism and expertise.
3- Rear spoiler wasn't attached properly. Old adhesive was hanging onto it and the gaps were so obvious. At first, the owner said it was normal to have that. After I insisted that they attach it properly, they attempted to fix it, only to damage the edge of the spoiler. I sent them the photo but they simply ignored it. Now the whole spoiler is lifting again, and they want me to return the car to have it fixed again. Yeah right...third time will be the charm?
4- Numerous bubbles on the tinting all around. Please refer to the photos.
5- PPF started peeling off on the hood after a week. I had to take the car to the shop once again to fix it. After a month, it's peeling off AGAIN. Not the quality of service I expected for the amount I paid.
At this point, would you trust the shop that has damaged brand new $100K car and failed to address multiple issues mentioned above? This is the quality of work you should expect.
The owner is refusing to pay for the damage inflicted and I'm pursuing legal action. Had I known that I'd have to go through all these hassles, I would've gone to other professional shops. read more
