He was in awe of their work. Everything was done to perfection. We had over 6 bids for bathrooms ( total redo) and their prices were amazing for the work they did! They listened to our concerns, came up with a plan. We could not be happier! Besides bathrooms, we were going to have them do our flooring- carpet to LV. Third floor condo - we ordered all, they bought everything up three flights of steps ( 950 square feet) - after carpet was up they noted flooring was off, and LV was not an option unless floor floated. We opted for carpet. They hauled all of the LV back down three flights. Zero complaints. Happy to do whatever was in our best interest! When we thanked them for their great work throughout, their response was always " we thank you. We are grateful for the work!" We noticed a small leak where the deck cover connects to the house, water was dripping from the soffit boards. Tim's responsiveness throughout the project was amazing, which is rare to find these days. I am a perfectionist and expect the same of Contractors. I found only a few VERY MINOR issues along the way, but Tim and his excellent crew were right on it! Many months after the project had been finished, we requested a minor repair to our siding that was NOT even part of their work. They came up yesterday and fixed it for us! While that was an unwelcome surprise, I felt extremely fortunate that Corneliu was the one who discovered and ultimately fixed the problem. This issue was neglected by another contractor who had done siding work previously for me. Corneliu fixed everything the RIGHT WAY at a very fair price and worked as late as 7:30pm, long after the sun had gone down, to ensure everything was done before the next storm rolled in. I'll be hiring Corneliu for a bathroom remodel later this year and anything else that may come up!

We wanted a door installed in the interior of our home. Cornel arrived, measured the space, explained the different styles, asking what we'd like. Then he went to the hardware store himself, took photos of all of the options that fit our criteria, and texted us the options so we could choose, saving me time from having to go to the store myself. He also went above and beyond by offering to fix the opposite side of the door frame, which was ugly before the project started. We didn't even think it was an option to fix that. Cornel installed the door, painted it, and fixed the trim on both sides, on the same day. The final result is absolutely perfect. It's beautiful, and the quality is stellar. We will certainly be using Smart Construction again in the future for home projects that we can't do ourselves.
