The location and facility are top of the line but the instructors are the best part.. all the way from The Jimenez family, to Danny, Bret, TJ and Luke and not to forget Mike and Sara are great at their skills and styles. They are also very good at breaking things down making it easier for me to learn. Not to count the World champions that come thru the doors any given day( been there 2 months and seen 4 myself). In less then 2 months I've lost close to 10 pounds and have improved in my game a lot. I also feel much better on my day to day life. Now I find myself often "playing bjj" with my kids at home. I also started paying attention to what I eat because I want to be able to do better at bjj. I just have an better more active life style thanks to their help. Also located in the strip mall is a doughnut shop and a pizza shop. There is adequate parking in the strip mall. Upon entering the business, you'll find a small office to the left and a row of benches along the right-hand wall. The benches serve as seating for visitors and parents who wish to watch their friends or children during classes. The dojang is of adequate size. When I first entered the business, I was immediately greeted by Master J.Kim and escorted into the office. Master J. Kim explained the $10 trial period. For $10, you can attend as many classes over a two week period as you wish. This allows ample time to determine whether you would benefit from their program. After leaving the office, I was greeted by Master Park who fitted me with the white belt. I went ahead with the $10 trial period and attended 4 classes over the next week. During the trial period, I was given plenty of individual attention by the instructors and was treated as though I was a "paying" member of the classes. I attended the adult classes and found the other students to be friendly, helpful, and encouraging. Needless to say, the experience was good for me. After one week, I decided to join their program. The program is well defined with attainable goals. You will receive a good workout during each class and the instructors do a nice job of mixing things up. You will not be bored. For me, the advantage of attending this program, and taking Taekwondo classes in general, is the all around workout that you will receive. As a friend of mine would say, the classes don't get easier but you get stronger - quickly. I also like that you will be challenged mentally by learning to speak Korean. As part of each step in the program, you'll be required to learn new Korean terminally. The physical and mental stimulation makes for a well-rounded workout. I've been attending this gym (3-5 times a week) since July 2019 because I moved to the area and…read moreneeded to keep on my exercise regime. Before Life Fit, I was a member of F45 (6 months) and Gold's Gym (20 years). In my last 2 months at F45, I could sense that my progress had plateaued (which always eventually happens if you've worked out consistently for a solid period of time). Due to my move to the area, I fortunately happened upon Life Fit while taking a new route home from work. I took the free class and was hooked (despite the no air conditioning, which eventually is a small price to pay for the tremendous benefits). In just 3 months of going to Life Fit, I feel as strong and healthy as I did in my 20's (I'm in my mid-40's), have reached an ideal bodyweight and BMI, and truly enjoy EVERY workout (as grueling as they are!). The foundation of this gem of a gym is the owner and employees. ALL of them genuinely care for each person's health and well-being. It's nice to be greeted each time you walk through the door and given a verbal and figurative pat on the back when you leave. In addition, it's motivating for me to hear a trainer (i.e. Fabian) say my name attached to a "good form" or "keep it up" while I'm in the midst of a tough set. Both Adrian and Fabian have helped me with my form on numerous exercises so that I could maximize my efforts. Fabian has sat with me for over an hour to educate me on eating for my body's needs. Valeria and Ms. Maria are always helpful and generous with a personal greeting and smile. All in all, I am grateful for this gym and what it's offering the community and what it's given me.
