This is THE ABSOLUTE WORST seafood I have had in my over 20 years of living in Virginia Beach! I should have followed my instincts when I walked in and saw the guy stretched out at the very first table looking waaaaaay too relaxed! But no...., I wanted to give the place a try and an opportunity to impress me. Welp! Didn't happen. ‍ The cod was small, greasy & looked like someone took a bite out of it before it was boxed up and given to me. The hush puppies & french fries looked refried. The coleslaw was old, dry and shouldn't be served! The $10 scallops?!?! ‍ Six scallops the smaller than a penny with enough seasoning to boil a LARGE BAG of seafood. This is unacceptable. Walked away in the middle of a sentence, charged me on the wrong card, etc. Asked for a pool table, 20 mins later we told her never mind because she just apparently forgot. Also forgot some of our food and even after being asked twice, she "forgot" a third time. Being in this same industry, I do not feel as if she should be serving under that influence. Inside of the dive bar is sticky- my flip-flops stuck to the floor- tables were dirty with things that couldn't be scratched off and reeks of cigarettes to the point where it chokes you as you walk in (even in a mask!) I mean..it's a dive bar. So naturally, the drinks are priced just right, the servers usually are pretty attentive. You can come and play pool on the many tables they have set up. They have daily specials that seem pretty cool. This visit just consisted of me drinking Vodka Sodas, and finally ordering Mozzarella Sticks. We came here on a Friday night. Because of covid we could not play pool unless we had our own sticks but they had used ashtrays and everyone's second hand smoke germs flying wild. You can't go to the bar to order which is fine but the waitresses came about twice the entire 2 hrs we were there. The ribs we had were cold and the tatchos were not great either. Do not go to this establishment!!! I was waiting for a food order to go and we decided to have a beer. I was kicked out for asking my friend if the bartender needed to wear a mask. She told my friend walking up that he needed to put his mask on (which I completely understand). I said to my other friend sitting at the table, does the bartender need to wear a mask? The bartender was told by someone, who worked there, and completely flipped out twice and then accused me of being there the day before with a boyfriend and I spit on someone. The staff is absolutely incredible. I've been coming here for years and not only is the staff amazing but the food is outstanding as well. Plenty of pool tables for all of your gaming pleasures and it is just a great environment to hang out and enjoy a few drinks. My home bar and I don't see that ever changing! Anyhow, I kept hearing their commercial and particularly the "best wings in VB" part....so, I stopped in for lunch today. They weren't the best wings in VB. Not even close. This dive bar is spacious and very well lit by dive bar standards. The live music was entertaining. Plenty of pool/billiards tables, indoor smoking and inexpensive liquor. The kitchen stays open till 1.30 am and the bar tenders are very patient and accommodating. Nice local bar. read more

I would give this place zero stars if that were an option. Be suspicious of any review for this place that give it more than a one star rating! Made reservation 2 days ahead for a birthday group of 10 adults. When we got there, no one knew anything about it. They didn't have sufficient room/space to accommodate us, and they made it abundantly clear they were not going to make any effort. The place didn't look like it was going to win any awards for sanitation. If you like the smell of heavy smoke and music so loud you can't talk to the person next to you, then you might like this place. The bouncer at the door was sarcastic, rude and abrupt, and wore his mask under his nose. We asked for the manager, and she was equally abrupt. They both said the lady we spoke with about our reservation was not there, and they would not be able to make room for our group. It was basically 'tough luck, go somewhere else, we don't care, and we don't apologize for inconveniencing 10 people.' We will never go back to that unimpressive dive. We left and went to AJ Gators at Providence. It was just the opposite. Clean, with friendly polite courteous professional personnel, service was excellent, and the food was great. Karaoke Thursday and Saturday nights. They've been having live bands more frequently - sometimes acoustic, sometimes not.
