Was here for the…read moresecond time this year, with a recent visit to pay respect to a loved community member who passed away from cancer. The service was very moving, with a three-volley salute, which is a military honor for those who served. There was also a covered space so guests did not have to stand under the sun. This is a very big cemetery, but once you drive up to the entrance kiosk, you can ask to find a burial space. The grounds are very open and small roads in between to drive through. Parking can be very limited during national holidays and large funeral events. There was almost no parking during Memorial Day when visited earlier this year. And you can't really park outside the cemetery because it's just a large road, with multi-lane traffic. So for non-event days, parking will be easy, but for major events, this is a very busy place.

The only complaint I have is the cleanliness and proper upkeep of the women's restroom. The last several times I have had to visit the restroom; it was dirty, and the floor was wet and slippery. Today the toilet was clogged and the toilet paper was not stocked. In the past the toilet paper has not been fully stocked, so this is an on going problem. Not sure if they do not have maintenance workers on the weekend but maybe they should. This place is too beautiful to have dirty unkept restrooms.

No request was too big. And everything they did was done with empathy and love. AARON make sure that we were taking care of the entire time and walk us through step-by-step during this very very difficult time. He allowed us to basically run the service away that we wanted it based on the guidelines and what we paid for he always gave us more time because he understands the difficulties of emotions and feelings during this time. Thank you so much for such an amazing service although I hope to never ever see you again soon if ever there was a need which the circle of life says there will be we will definitely be returning here. This would be a 10 star review if possible

Don't expect to watch your loved one's casket actually lowered into the ground either. You have to pay over $300 more for that to happen. We were actually told that we needed to leave so they could do so. Why? No idea. Obviously, they are going to do so, so why would it matter if you are there or not?! I've been to many funerals and at no time did they asked for a casket liner (in case the person needs to be exhumed, not optional.) and not once was there an upcharge to watch the casket placed in the ground. Odd they don't require a liner in Wisconsin or Minnesota where they actually have weather. My suggestion is to ask to be cremated, unless you have an extra $10k laying around.

Brandon and his staff are very empathetic and attentive to any and all of your needs. We never had to ask for anything. They anticipated our every need. When they had learned that my father in law was a classic car enthusiast, they offered the services of their 1947 Cadillac Hearse. His friends all commented that he would have loved that his last ride was in such a beautiful car. We can't say enough about how well we were treated. I don't want to go back to Preston & Simons, but if and when I need the services of a mortuary, this is where I will be going. Thank you Brandon.

Even though he had a service going, he took the time to sit down with us and review the process, what services he provides, and fees. No computers, book, or calculating was needed. He knew all costs off the top of his head and was familiar with the cemetery and church that we were considering. He gave us his card and told us to call him when the time comes. No money was needed in advance, no paperwork needed to be signed, and no pressure was given to select Preston and Simons. When the time came, he took care of my mother and family. He gave us his personal phone number and was always available to answer all questions. Because of him, we had a death certificate ready within a week, a service booked through him, the cemetery booked, casket ordered, and flowers ordered. Still no money exchanged hands as we were waiting on life insurance. He was aware of this and never requested fees from us knowing it would come the day of the service. The facility itself was spacious and offers an upstairs reception area at an additional cost. We used this for family and friends to sit together after the viewing and eat while waiting for the service. The space was well worth the money. Brandon's character is the true seller. He is kind and compassionate. He didn't make our questions or needs seem like a burden and was always quick to respond. He is very much an expert in his field and connected with his community. This is a place I hope I don't have to return to for many decades, but when the time comes this will be the place for me and my family.

STRANGLY AGRESSIVE WORKER! (STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!)…read moreI stopped there to look at the graves for a few minutes while my mom is getting cancer chemotheropy to kill some time. I looked at the graves, then walked through the mausoleum. I was only at the cemetery for about 5 minutes, and was leaving. I was told by a grounds keeper 6 months ago that the building was open to the public. I was walking out the door to leave the property. A black guy came out from the crematorium and started yelling at me to get out, and don't come back. Then said, and stop going to that building next door and knocking on the door. I never knocked on any door at all. I honestly thought he was going to hit me when he came out he was so agressive, and he looked high on meth, and seemed delusional, accusing me of crazy stuff, and I got the feeling he thought I was someone who was bothering him all morning. I've never seen him before. I was hoping to ask someone about the movie night and pumpkin patch events on the property, being that I have run halloween events since 1987, and know all the Halloween event owners and pumpkin patches in Socal. But now I'm honestly affraid this weird person is going to attack me if I ever go there again, because I think there is a mental dissorder or drug induced delusions with this guy.
