Such an amazing family owned and operated company! We had them out twice this last week for…read moredifferent things. They did such a great job with the first thing, that having them come back out for something else just made sense. Daniel stopped by our house to give us a quote to trim our grapefruit tree and remove a tree stump. After speaking with a few companies, we felt like Elene's was the best option. He took the time to talk about the project, how to properly care for and trim citrus trees, and he was able to schedule the project for the next day. They came by and completed everything quickly and did an amazing job. After the project was completed we were able to have them back out in a few days to plant shrubs and transplant a hibiscus tree! Again, quick, efficient and job well done. Next we plan to work with them to trim our giant pine, and help us create a planter wall- two things that've been on our "list" for a long time. Over all working with this company was a great experience. I highly recommend them! Also- pricing was very reasonable, and aligned with other quotes we received.

They wanted to do the job a day early without any prior notice and claimed to be working on a job two houses down from us, which turned out not to be true. They were overly insistent, even yelling at my brother over the fence in the back yard to get his attention, and it soon became apparent that they wanted to do our job a day early because they had booked a more lucrative job into the time slot that had originally been reserved for us. I texted Danny, the leader of these renegades, who basically told me that if they couldn't do the job a day earlier, then they would not be doing the job at all. I tried to reason with him, but he simply stopped responding to my texts. Why couldn't he have just been honest with us in the first place and told us that they had given our scheduled time slot to someone else and needed to reschedule instead of trying to saddle us with the lie that they happened to be in the neighborhood and working two houses down from us, which wasn't true? Their lame excuses, their bad behavior, and their total lack of professionalism are frankly mind boggling!

They did an excellent job. I had 11 or more trees trimmed some were very tall. Two were palm trees…read more One tree was a large pine tree. It only took them about 5 hours to complete the job. They had many helpers in their crew and at times three trucks. They appear to be very aware of safety procedures. And, they are very professional. Their initial estimate given to me was hundreds less than the previous tree trimmer that I almost hired. Additionally, they cleaned out the weeds in my swing and shed area which is many square feet. I only had a special request when they were done. I asked them to cut my sycamore tree about 6 feet shorter and take out more branches. And they did it. So good price, safety, professional and all of my sprinklers worked fine when they left. So if someone needs tree service call other tree services to get an estimate but definitely call Elite Tree Care. They start at a lower price than others.

The palm fronds were left at base of the tree, and on my neighbors fence, and my outdoor lights were broken and ripped off the house. If I had not walked the work area and found the torn down lights, the ripped electric wire would have been live when the autotimer turned on in the evening. The hot wire could have electriculted my family or my dogs. The $100 comp to buy the $60 string of lights is not enough for me to remove and rehang the lights from second story and across the yard back to the palm tree in 100 degree weather, requiring me to carry a ladder to second story and out into the garden and at the palm tree. The supervisor offered to not charge service in compensation for the destroyed yard lights. He requested I remove this review and I refuse.

They listened to how we wanted the tree trimmed and executed well. The pricing was standard, and I would use their service again. Especially for our Chinese elm since the team knows how to treat it.

I hired them to trim my two twin 30 ft tall queen palm trees …read more (Very) Small Crew: A guy with, I think his very petite gf/wife) showed up to do the job... usually a TEAM (3-6) of men show up... so this was....uhhh .... different lol. They were relatively professional but only seem to speak Spanish. I don't speak that much Spanish but they somehow we were able to work together. Right to Work:The man did Not waste time ( I liked that!), he put on his belt and used his tree climbing skills right away, and Ryobi chainsaw to trim the limbs , which were quite a few. And I personally did about 50% of the work because I had to grab each 1 of these 110-150 lb limbs and make sure they didn't damage the property's yard or roses and carry each to the street. Why? In the past I would let tree cutters do everything on their own and they would totally WRECK my roses and shrubbery so this time I had to be 100% engaged, and active . We got the job done, it took about an hour and a half to 2 hours . Payment: Our property mgmt company pays for these types of services using our corporate credit card and Bernabe didn't seem to have an easy means by which to do that . So I tried to get them to use PayPal and or stripe or venmo.. he tried to take a card over the phone like it was 2003 lol and applepay, which most businesses would not use or have. it took a few days but eventually I just sent the payment via PayPal and it seemed to work perfectly fine, ngl there was a lot of back and forth just to pay them , I never had to work so hard to pay somebody before . Quality of Work: As far as the work and quality of work , it was good enough I would say primarily because I was there from start to finish to ensure it was done right . When I told the owner over the phone I did 1/2 the work (because there was NO WAY this petite older woman who came with the tree cutter could've done all the Heavy lifting I did) I thought the appropriate thing to do was discount the price, but he didn't even offer LOL. No big deal, but some discount would've been reasonable but i didn't press the issue because it looked like the couple could really use a good payday. So the worker and his wife/girlfriend were very nice and were easy to work alongside to get the job done. Assessment: Even though I might use them again, I can't say this particular team is for the average tree cutting situation especially if u can't be actively involved in the process. They did a good job a cleaning up my and the neighbors yard though
