I reached out to them with photos and was asked for the address because it is a part of determining pricing. I received an emailed quote from Garrett that was reasonable. They put me on the schedule for November, which was the first available. I said fine. The two guys who came were very nice and the one guy replaced the pane beautifully. It didn't take long and I was amazed at the efficiency. I highly recommend this company.

I have been a customer of this company for several years. They have been servicing my whole home…read moregenerator. Prior to today, I was satisfied with their service although I will note that their fees are expensive. Approximately one week ago, I booked an afternoon preventive maintenance appointment for today. JD Power Systems operates under the typical, but not particularly customer friendly, four-hour window system where the technician calls you when he/she is on his/her way to your house. I chose to take the afternoon off from work so that I would definitely be able to be present when the technician arrived. Around 4:00pm, I received a call from an office employee stating that the technician scheduled to service my generator had instead been dispatched to a priority commercial customer and, furthermore, due to traffic and rainfall (!), would not be coming to my home. I was offered an appointment on another day; I declined. While I can appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can arise, my expectation for good customer service does not entail scheduling another appointment and taking more time off from work without some kind of accommodation from the company that chose to de-prioritize me in the first place. This review would not have been written and I would be not be engaging a competing firm if the office employee had instead explained the circumstances and said, in so many words, how can we be fair to you? I would have happily forgiven JD Power Systems if something as simple as $50.00 - $100.00 would have been knocked off the usual $500.00 preventive maintenance charge, but alas, customer service standards at this firm are lacking so I leave this review to let potential customers be aware of what may happen to them. I am constantly amazed that some firms do so little to retain existing customers while spending lots of money on trying to acquire new customers. In my opinion, JD Power Systems epitomizes this backwards approach to business.

He said they would take care of it and to go to the High St location. Upon taking it there, they were reluctant to repair it but said they could once they got the part. After weeks of not hearing, I called and they didn't return my call. I called again and they said they were waiting for parts. After another 10 days of not hearing, I contacted the vacuum manufacturer directly and they confirmed no parts were ordered. I just worked directly with the manufacturer and another vacuum repair shop to get it done in a week. Beware of working with Carmen's!

The price for the new vacuum cleaner was quite reasonable. The charge for repairing the older vacuum cleaner was also very reasonable and never needed a repair again. I wish they were open today. What a great bathroom remodeling company! Michelle did a wonderful job designing a low-maintenance,…read moresafe shower remodel for our narrow 1931 bathroom. The room looks so bright and clean now, the new fixtures work beautifully, and cleaning takes almost no time at all. Plus, we now have stylish grab bars, a non-slip shower pan, and a larger drain that won't get clogged with hair. Michelle suggested removing some wall tile to extend the new Onyx wall slabs in the shower enclosure to the door molding, and we are really pleased with the result. The 3-person installation crew, led by Kevin, got the whole job -- including replacing two toilets -- done in 8 hours. They showed up on time, were very pleasant, and they cleaned up after themselves. There were a few minor issues after the job was done, and Michelle sent Matt over. He made everything perfect, and he was just as nice as the rest of the crew. Columbus Bath Design gave us a fair price. They are one of the best contractors we've had in the 24 years we've lived in this old house.

There were ton's of scenarios to choose from and even more counter and vanity samples. As for the actual work on the job, CBD had some of the most able and professional craftsmen that I've run across. These guys were on time, worked diligently, contained demo dust and debris very well and took a lot of pride in how they installed the new product. That last part was very important to me. Not one of them treated the remodel like it was mine....It was more like they were doing the work in their own homes. It was flawless. During the project, they asked me my preference as to locations of towel and TP bars and soap caddies in the shower and bath and the direction of the floor being laid. Working with them was a nightmare. They messed up our main gas line and every time we turn our fireplace on...the carbon monoxide/fire alarms go off.
