Absolutely love this place! So happy to have been recommended this by a local.
It's a great mix between restaurant and bar, with a lot of food options for throughout the day.
We popped in for brunch and boy was it amazing!
We ordered pumpkin soup and a breakfast selection (not sure what it was called, as we pointed, being unable to read the menu).
The soup was huge and came with the most delicious bread I've had in a while.
The potato tortilla (if that's what it was - darn my lack of Danish language skills), was to die for. Absolutely amazing, cheese and hummus hit the spot, with fresh fruit to liven up the palate.
We also ordered fresh juice which appeared to be a combination of carrot, orange and potentially apple.
Ingredients were fresh and I could see this being by far the best hang over cure I've been exposed to.
I also absolutely loved the décor. It felt so homely with big sandpapered wooden tables. The walls were lined with a set of 2 pictures, which we guessed were 'then and now' images. Older more faded ones of families and houses on the road and more modern updated ones taken below. It was wonderful to see how people and places had changed, or creepily in some places hadn't.
You can find some great graffiti and there's a lot of quirky art what gives this venue a warm and creative feel.
The beer selection was amazing and the beer garden large, although too cold for use!
I'd thoroughly recommend this place - although the prices aren't that cheap - although this is taking into account the poor current exchange and state of the English pound.
We left extremely full, happy and content and if I'm every back in Denmark, I'll be sure to try and come back! It's well worth the trek. read more
