This was my first time in Ruby, my partners third or fourth. Vibes and service was great, much more attentive than I ever thought was possible at a bar. Drinks were delicious, the soul reason I'm handing 3 stars is that I had 5 to 6 drinks. And I wasn't even tipsy. I was pretty close to going to bar and watching them make the drink to see if they were forgetting the alcohol:'). We were soooo confused, everyone in my party. Now i'm not a drunk, I'm a 5'7 woman, it literally takes one standard drink to get me buzzed! I should've been plastered. Each new drink I thought would work better, but it never happened. So I don't know man, that's weird.

Super lovely cocktail bar. Would recommend getting a reservation as the space filled up pretty quickly. We did not have one but were able to snag the last table on a Sunday night around 8. I got the carrot cake cocktail which was deliciously nutty and not milky/creamy which I was expecting it to be (not positive or negative, just an observation). The service is attentive.

Amazing craft cocktails with experienced bartenders. Don't miss the frozen sea buckthorn drink bc you're not finding that easily elsewhere. The service was excellent and what struck me was how willing to accommodate walk ins they were. The staff really wanted everyone to try Ruby and I loved that because we didn't have reservations. The space seemed really large yet cozy with lots of little hideaways. Loved. Top bar experience.

Through the doors in an 1854 entrance along the canal is a speakeasy worth your time. My buddy and I went on a Saturday evening in October. Here's our experience: 1) Cocktails: They have a full menu with a wide range of cocktails. Since I enjoy sweeter drinks, I ordered the frozen passionfruit margarita and it easily ranks as the best margarite I've ever had. It's expensive, but worth every cent. 2) Space: It's in an old building and the inside is classy. There's a large outdoor patio with heaters that keep you warm (or in our case, very hot!). 3) Service: This is the only area they didn't shine. Although friendly, they were busy and didn't manage it well. We waited to be noticed for twenty minutes once we walked in. It took a long time to order, get and receive our check. The entire experience took hours since the staff were too busy.

Excellent date spot and a popular bar with locals and expats. Expect delicious artisanal cocktails and only 3 mock-tails to choose from but they are all Very different in taste. Ruby is a very popular spot, especially during weekends and there is always a line outside towards later evening. There is a smoking area just down a flight of stairs that leads to an enclosed outdoor space. The cigarette smoke does permeate throughout the small space so be aware.

Gorgeous cocktail bar with delicious drinks! We went a little early and were able to sit for drinks before heading out for dinner but seemed like a reservation would be the way to go here.

5 star cocktails for Ruby. Wow! What an awesome find in Copenhagen. These are some seriously well crafted custom cocktails served up in a classy spot. We thoroughly enjoyed 3 of the fab Midnight Old Fashions with fudge, knob creek bourbon & sour black currant. We also tried the frozen sea buckthorn margarita & it was also delish. I suspect You can't go wrong with anything on this creative cocktail menu with some limited munchies.

Ruby is a sister bar to Lidkoeb (perhaps the more refined older sibling). On our visit, we scored seats by the window looking toward Christiansborg Palace. We stayed for two rounds of very well made cocktails. The vibe is that of a converted older home. It's in a perfect location for pre- or post-dinner drinks and, like Lidkoeb, is not to be missed if you're a cocktail fanatic.

There's a reason why Copenhagen is ranked #1 city with the most happiest people. Their cocktails here are ahhh-ma-zing! Ruby is exactly the type of place I love stumbling across when I'm traveling. An almost secret location, a welcoming posh space and passionate barkeepers. The bow tied barman in his 3 piece suit comes over and starts the friendly banter. He'll get to know your needs, your wants and appropriately fulfill each one. Cocktails here are of the highest caliber. Fresh squeezed juices, house made bitters, premium alcohol and even a well curated spirit cabinet. I'm impressed. Cocktails are well balanced, exquisitely made and just plain ahhh-ma-zing! (yes, it's worth repeating) Of course the drinks are expensive. I could've gotten a 6 course meal at a fancy Michelin star restaurant in San Francisco for our bar tab. With that said, I'd happily come back and do it all over again. You just can't put a price tag on happiness. Skal!

Hipster bar! Hipster bar! I feel like I'm in America!!!

It is always nice to kill some time in a relaxing, non-congested space, while grabbing a meal and beverage at the airport. There was a small self-service buffet that was constantly cleaned and and refreshed. Beer and soft drinks were on tap. Decent full bar for a airport lounge. Plenty of bathroom access in lounge. Plenty of seating options for individuals and smal groups. I would definitely visit here again next time.

The lines can be long during the summer time, but do move along. If you have an EU/Danish passport likely no line at all :-) It consists of one larger circular room facing the tarmac. Many seats/tables have outlets or USB charging ports. Buffet had warm lunch options, apart from some standard Danish darkbread and toppings. Also had Halal options. Great beer on tap, large wine section and good mix of hard alcoholic options. Together with soda, coffee and tea. Today the warm lunch options were a Thai Curry chicken stew with white rice (not bad at all), and I didn't try the Bean Chili (doesn't feel like a good idea for a long plane ride with many people).. Not as cramped and busy as the other Carlsberg lounge in the "shopping area". More spacing with chairs and probably not crowded due to the passport control and limited flight/gates nearby.

Environment was also a cut above the aforementioned lounge. We were here early during breakfast and they were serving traditional cold Danish & European breakfast dishes including cheese served with those alternative manual rotary wire cutting slicers I've only seen in Denmark. There was a long line for the espresso machine as the second coffee station was out of commission for 20 minutes which made for a wait. Food was decent enough for breakfast fare but I kept expectations low. The yogurt and fruit cups were really good. The staff were helpful as well as very efficient with bussing tables for the next guests. They did have self-service wine and draft beers on tap.

The food includes liver patte, rare cheese, pickled things, cold fish, egg salad, potato salad, lettuce, and some bread. This isn't the type of food I want to eat. It's also not the type you can eat a lot of. I understand it's simple but I'd rather have a turkey sandwich. There's no change or increase for meal times. Anyways soda and beer wise this is decent. 5 sodas: sprite, Coke Zero, Coke, 2 s.4 beers- carlsberg regular, original, NA, and an IPA

I got access to the main lounge for flying SAS back to LA as a SkyTeam Elite Plus member. It was OK: glad to try it. Entrance was easy via a ticket scan (was allowed to bring one extra person, which I didn't need), and is meant for fast throughput. It's a very open space, with a lot of light and windows. One could tell pretty quickly that the first floor was pretty full, so took my luggage and lugged my way up to the second floor. Both floor had buffet/beverage stations so didn't need to move again until ready to go. The food was OK, with a lot of things belonging on a continental menu, including cheese block, different breads, various cold vegetables and some really watery soup. They did have Carburg on tap which was nice. Everything is reusable wares and utensils. There is wifi available, but requiring a password. And used plates get cleared pretty quickly. I stuck around for 1 hour, leaving about 80 minutes before scheduled departure. What I didn't realize was that the lounge is before immigration/passport control...so what I thought was plenty of time to make it to the gate, ended up being a rush run to the gate.

We went through the automated gates by scanning our boarding pass. Not sure what the difference was but to the left side was access to the main floor and to the right went upstairs. There was no obvious way to go between floors. Breakfast was already out and it had a small selection of breads, hard boiled egg, cold meats and veggies, hot oatmeal, yogurt and fruits. Only one coffee machine was working but all beer and wine taps were ready to go. Presentation was nice and food quality was decent. When finished one had to bus their own trays to the central carts. Decor inside was modern and spread out. We stayed in the dining area but there were workstations and a quieter area in the back facing the airplanes. A small conference room and a children's playroom were also available. I appreciated the abundance of power outlets. Overall a good way to relax and eat something before heading off to our flight to Frankfurt.
