We had a reg. burger, a veggie burger, and the Caesar salad. The reg. burger seemed okay, but the veggie burger had unseasoned and poorly cooked portobello in lieu of meat. My salad, which was supposed to be a main, was super tiny and not filling. The sauce came on the side and wasn't mixed in, the lettuce was fresh but the chicken was very dry. I seldom eat meat but when I do, it's at a restaurant where my hope is they do the animal justice by preparing it well. Not the case here. Just came back 2 days ago, same teens plus my husband. The portobello burger was not on the menu but there was no veggie alternative, so they gave my son avocado in lieu of meat for the same price. Regular burger was okay, same as last. My husband went for the moules frites, which was a small portion despite being a main. The mussels were from frost, the sauce very watery, not a lot of flavor. 175 kr. I had the steak frites, ordered medium rare. I got a very thin slice of very overdone meat, a bad cut that was dry and chewy. One grilled tomato on the side, fries and a room temperature bearnaise that was not up to snuff. 235 kr for something you'd get at a truckstop. Again - waste of animal life when prepared so badly. Pixie used to have great burgers, salads and ambience. Now it's terribly overpriced and while the servings look really lovely, the quality has taken a turn for the worse. The location is still great, so a much needed kitchen update would do wonders, but it needs to align with this being a neighborhood hub for people who need a warm, filling meal for a reasonable price. I'm kind of gutted, we used to come here all the time without issue. Come here for coffee/tea and lemonade only, if you must. Even their croissants are dry and way overpriced.

It definitely is a good looking place. And the food is ok. I've only been here for dinner and their chilli con carne is good (well seasoned, good size portion, and comes with a thick slice of bread). The chilli is a much better choice than their burgers, which are large, boring and dry in my opinion. Ok selection of beers on tap. Service is friendly, but very slow. We've occasionally been able to fit 6 or 8 people there for dinner, so it's not a bad place if you need seating for lots of people.

Coming from the crowded restaurants in town it was quite a relief to enter Din Nye Ven, it was not at all crowded and the relaxing music flowing through the speakers was at an acceptable level. I decided to go for the vegetarian soup that on this day (it seems to vary from day to day) was made of potatoes and leek. It turned out to be an excellent choice, the soup also had some roasted rhye bread sprinkled on top, delicious! Service was friendly and prices seemed reasonable as well. You could see quite some people reading e-books or watching movies/series on their tablets and I will definitely come back here to get some work done or read a good book.

Also, I started using Yelp, which I've never done before. Din Nye Ven was wonderful. The food was homemade, which especially means a lot to a food fanatic like me. It looks home made and tastes wonderful! The place is small and even though I've lived in Copenhagen for quite some years now, I've never noticed this little restaurant before, but it certaintly wont be my last visit.

It's a tiny looking place parallel to walking street & there are quite a few places around. The brunch served to us seemed very enticing & inviting which is a good feeling to have. I was very happy with the quality of good as well. Cannot complain at all. The staff here was very attentive & everytime we were out of bread or water it was refilled immediately. Also they paid attention to the tiniest of details which is rare but really good to see. I would surely recommend this place for brunch & price wise also seems to be pretty decent. ps: there is free wifi available too. Can't ask for more

I had a half roast chicken with slightly wasabi flavored mashed potatoes dish that came with many different mushrooms. Things were in Danish so I don't know all of it exactly. But I cleaned my plate, it was very good. Keep in mind they only take cash or the special Danish bank card (that only the special Danes are issued). So I had to go down the street to the cash machine to get money after dinner, which was a little awkward. But they were very sweet about it.

Brunch consists of boiled eggs, croissant / pain au chocolate, bread, cheese, jam, muesli and fruit. Pretty standard fare but you get to fill out blanket by the cashier to specify your preference. The atmosphere is cool tho'. It reminds me of those retro cafes in Berlin. Perfectly nice place to hang out all day if you like, and you get unlimited coffee and tea (from AC Perch) with your brunch.

We were seated and didn't receive the menu for 15minutes (they weren't particularly busy). We waited another 15 minutes and no waiter came, despite the fact that the waiter passed by our table several times (and I signaled we were ready to order). We finally decided to leave. The waiter was right next to us and he didn't say a word. Won't be coming back.
