As I learned, the first step in dealing with the issue was finding a company for remediation services, and the plumbers I contacted recommended ServPlus to do the work. They even happened to have someone in the area the day I called, so I quickly got a quote and was able to arrange a time for them to come out and do the work. I would like to give a special thanks to the team who showed up - Christian, Chase and Ian. They were on time, kept me updated about what was going on, and answered all my questions. They carefully opened up the tile area around the tub--minimizing damage--and opened the ceiling below to run fans and test moisture levels. The whole experience was professional and white glove treatment all around (e.g., always removed shoes in the home, magically left no dust in the bathroom after cutting up the tile, and somehow trapped all the blown-in insulation). Grateful for their care, expertise, and willingness to engage in a small job. The tub wasn't covered under insurance, but they recommended another company for a warranty repair that did a great job. Overall very happy with their work. Honest, reliable, and though.

He offered to meet with our insurance Adjustor to explain the scope of work, and when the insurance guy messed up the appointment time Bret was completely understanding, and even came back within an hour's notice to be there for the appointment. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. After two years, being able to finally unpack and enjoy our space is going to be so wonderful, especially with the holidays right around the corner. I've managed several renovations over the years, including projects remotely, and this has easily been one of the most disorganized and painful experiences I've dealt with. Our project has been ongoing since March, with seemingly endless delays and very little progress. I understand that insurance involvement can complicate timelines, and we've tried to be patient. However, we eventually signed paperwork agreeing to self-fund the project specifically to eliminate those obstacles and get the work completed. Despite that, the delays have continued. Communication and project management have been incredibly poor. The team has been consistently unresponsive, has confused our project with other jobs, and has repeatedly sent subcontractors to our home who either had no idea what they were supposed to be doing or arrived with a completely different understanding of the scope of work. Based on conversations with various people who have been in and out of our home, I've gotten the impression there may have been some internal management changes, which could explain the disconnect. Regardless of the reason, the lack of organization, communication, and accountability has been unacceptable. It genuinely feels like no one is overseeing the project, and we've been left to constantly follow up, clarify details, and coordinate work that should be managed by the company we're paying. Remediation is already a stressful process for homeowners, and the last thing anyone needs is a company that makes it significantly more difficult. After months of frustration, I cannot recommend this company and would strongly caution others against hiring them.
