It's been years since I visited a haunted house but after my friend scored some tickets from a…read morebingo night prize, we decided to stop by on a Thursday night. The haunted house is located in an old warehouse in northwest Houston. There's ample parking and a security check point before entering the main line. Guests are required to go through metal detectors and show the contents of their purses and pockets before proceeding which honestly made me feel better before going into a large dark warehouse with a bunch of strangers. After making the 30ish minute drive from central Houston, it was nice to have several porta potties with handwashing sinks available before possible moments of peak adrenaline (iykyk). We also decided to grab a quick adult beverage at the food truck outside while waiting in line. My friends got whiteclaws and I opted for the featured margarita ($13). There was a little bit of a line when we arrived, however they do a good job of keeping guests entertained with several costumed features wandering among the queue to help set the mood. Once you past the door, they take a quick photo of your group which is available for purchase at the end. Then it was time for the haunted house! The maze winds through dark twists and turns, leading into a series of terrifying rooms filled with gory scenes, disorienting mirrors, and eerie optical illusions that keep you constantly on edge. Costumed creatures lurk around the corner, springing out when you least expect it - and sometimes chasing you down - to quite literally, keep you on your toes. I'm not a huge screamer or someone who gets freaked out easily but it was a lot of fun to be immersed in this totally different environment. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and it really set the mood for the holiday yet to come.

It is a bunch of computers with a gaming headset, keyboard, and mouse. We had to ask a bunch of questions and ultimately decided on a hour of play. Let me first state I am not a gamer so this review is based on my non-gaming perspective. We selected two computers but one was not working so we had to shift so we could be next to each other. We chose our computer and had to setup our accounts, I think that took away from our hour. My kid wanted to play Fortnite and it took a while to login and get started but we were able to use accounts that were licensed from the store or you could use your own. I decided to switch to Among Us about half way in and the chat was LOUD. I used the sound key on the keyboard but it barely changed a thing, there was no volume control on the headset so I took it off. After 2.5 rounds my time was up so I just waited for my child to finish. As we were leaving a noticed the once 25% full place was about at 75% so it can fill up quickly and we went on a Sunday afternoon. Would I go back, maybe but bring a jacket, it was freezing.

Hey, not bad for a 10 series card graphics computer set. Though would be nice as well and I wish, if you have the space and area to dedicate to have some people bring their own setups and stuff. ::Pros:: + Nice, cozy gaming environment + Computers are solid, and the fact that you have old-school arcade stuff is a bonus + Rates are comfy with bonus times on 7 dollars on an hour charge, and the further you seem to get to it, the more discounted it gets. ::Cons:: - Nothing much really, but just watch out and inform the guy in front if your computer crashes (it's a ggleap thing). He'll happily help you oit.

There are some add on packages, but I don't particularly feel like it's worth it if you go to the dollar tree and pick up some flashing glow sticks or some hologram glasses for the lights that you could buy and reuse over and over again. Anyway, this is a drive through parking lot type of situation. I usually recommend the whole plot about thirty minutes to be able to go through the line and go through the viewing of the lights.

When you get to the giant tent is where the hyping up begins and you can get all the things- popcorn, lemonade, all the glowing fun stuff. Originally I just bought the light park pass just to see lights but we ended up buying popcorn so I would suggest purchasing a package because popcorn alone was $11 Regardless though the lights were beautiful!!! Loved that they have a radio station set so you can listen to the music that the lights connect with. Definitely take your time driving though and just enjoy the ride.

The haunts fully immerse you in their multiple themes & atmospheres. The actors are committed and enjoy what they do. At first appearance it doesn't look too big, but that's just an illusion. Just when you think the haunt is over, there is another door to pass or a tight hall to walk through what seemed like a never ending experience, lasted about 30-40 min. I've been to many haunted houses around Houston, this was my first time here and I applaud & commend all the hard work and efforts by everyone & make Scream Park one of my top choices to visit or recommend to everyone. They are following Covid regulations with enforcing social distancing and masks as well as having sanitizer available. Video, cameras & lights are not allowed once inside the experience. Buy your tickets online to save time. They offer two types of tickets, general or VIP, we opted for the VIP ticket which had us skip the line that we likely would've waited about an hour in. A food truck was onsite in case you are hungry & parking is free. Enjoy your Halloween season by stopping by, you won't be disappointed!
