Evelyn is the BOMB! I have been coming to Infinite lash and letting Evelyn do my lashes for about 4 months now and I am highly satisfied. She does a great job and is so kind and professional. She always responds to my texts timely and try to accommodate me when her booking is really full. If you have questions or concerns she addresses them immediately. She takes her time to explain to you the different type and sizes in lashes and just what may work or not work for you. If you have a lash issue she will try to rectify it quickly. Customer service is a biggie for me and when she exceeded my expectations with that as well as doing a fantastic job on my lashes, I knew I had a permanent home. Her lash job is so clean and precise. I mean you do not know I have lashes on unless I tell you. I get complimented all the time with how natural they look, even by other lash techs who have been in the business for years tell me how wonderful of a job she does. She is also very fast, but it's not rushed at all. I love how you cannot see her glue. There is nothing more unattractive than a lash job where you can see the glue on the lashes. I even have to sometimes look closely at my lashes to see just how they're attached because even I cannot tell because there is such precision of the lash placements and on top of that they last. I've never felt compelled to leave a review before for any of the numerous salons I've visited in Chicago, but Evelyn more than deserves it! I have gotten my lashes done at other places in the city before and this by far has been my best experience. The appointment started off on a new and wonderful foot that I wasn't used to, you are seated in a comfy recliner (not a hard bed with crinkly paper under you) and given a memory foam neck pillow to make the entire experience feel more like a cozy nap than an eyelash application. Evelyn involves you in the selection of your lashes asking first what look you're desiring and then talking you through which selection she thinks will work best with your natural lashes. This part was always completely skipped in my previous applications and I was unaware how many different specific types of lashes there really are! Evelyn really knows what she's doing and this part is essential to making the lashes look as extraordinary as they do! The application is so much faster than I have experienced previously and there is no burning sensation that occasionally has happened before when the glue gets in your eye. Even after all of this the best part is still to come when you get to look at the finished product! My extensions make it look like I was magically blessed with thick luxuriously curled lashes. When I had lashes applied previously they looked full but you could tell they weren't natural. With these lashes I am constantly getting compliments and asked what mascara I'm using! You don't feel the extensions on, they aren't heavy but they also hold their shape incredibly well. I'm on my third week post application and the extensions still look incredible! I've been seeing Evelyn for lash extensions for over a year now. I initially got a full set for my wedding, and I absolutely loved how dark and dramatic my naturally blond lashes looked. I've been getting fills ever since, switching over to the medium set which is a bit more natural looking for day to day wear. Whoa! I've gotten lash extensions a handful of times and this was the best experience I've had. Evelyn's space is small but cozy. Instead of laying flat on a hard table for the application, you lean back in a cushy recliner. I showed her a photo of my favorite false lashes, Ardell Wispies, and asked her to recreate that look. She involved me in picking out the different lash types and lengths, which I appreciated. Then she taped my lower lashes down, turned on some light music and got to work. The application process was pretty comfortable, considering someone is working so close to your eyes. We chatted a little at the beginning and then I sort of zoned out. I definitely could've fallen asleep had I been more tired. There wasn't any poking or tugging or pinching. She finished the full set in just about an hour, which was the fastest anyone has ever done it on me. When she peeled off the tape and I opened my eyes, there was no burning from glue getting in my eye. Lashes look just like Ardell Wispies! I have pretty thin lashes that can't hold up the heavier lash extensions (they start to droop until the natural lash falls out), and these lashes are nice and light. If I push the lashes back, there's no poking at the point where the extension meets the natural lash. They truly feel like my real lashes, just longer and far more fabulous. Evelyn has been my favorite lash technician by far. Many of them tug and pull at my lashes but with Evelyn, I had to ask her many times if she even started! Very professional, but personable. She encouraged me to let her know if I was uncomfortable in any way. Usually lashes feel heavy and can be uncomfortable after a while. Amazing! I've had my lashes done by many people/studios in Chicago, but Infinite Lash is by far the best. During the application she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed during. She applied the lashes so quickly and professionally. I was done in 40 minutes with my lashes! If you have not had lashes before this is amazing. Compared to other places where I have had Lash application take almost 2 hours! After the lashes looked amazing, they are super light and feel very natural. Evelyn is a sweetheart for sure. I had my initial set done with her and a fill after about 3 weeks later. After the initial set, I did have to go back because the outside lashes on the left side did not look appropriate. I went back after a couple days. I would say my lashes looked messy after about a week. Maybe I started out with too long of lashes? Not sure. After my first fill, at home I noticed that my left lashes were noticeably shorter than my right. I guess I could have gone back, i am sure that Evelyn would have addressed the issue. Also, after about a week my lashes were messy again. Friends were like: your lashes look very fake. I did decide to cancel my upcoming fill. Completely in love with my eyelash extensions! Infinite Lash is a clean and professional studio. I purchased a full set, however, didn't want to look overdone for the daytime. I told Evelyn this during the consultation and she recommended the perfect length lashes. It only took her just over an hour to finish the full set. I have gotten so many compliments and when I tell people they are extensions they say they would have never guessed because of how natural they look. Horrible. I got my lashes done about 3 weeks ago. The moment I got them, the looked fake. I asked for a very subtle job, not what I received at all. A few weeks after getting my lashes done they began to hurt. I felt a pinching in my eyelids. I called Infinite Lash Studio numerous times asking for a Lash removal service.
