I currently live near the drive-thru location in Fontana, which is so nice and convenient for my early-morning commute. I recently tried the pumpkin matcha, and from the very first sip, I was in love. I savored every last sip! I absolutely love this place, not only for the quality of the coffee but also for what Klatch stands for. I really appreciate their commitment to fair-trade, high-quality coffee and their direct-trade relationships with coffee producers. Everything was SO good and reasonably priced; the wrap was the perfect size for us. The avocado in the wrap had a slight lemon-y flavor that worked well. One day I came in and she was the only one there because others had called out, and she was still handling everything like a boss. She stayed calm, kept things moving, and still made sure my order was perfect. She always remembers my coffee and makes sure it's made right every time. Colorful, comfy couches with ottomans for extra seating, trays that look more like they belong in a West Elm catalogue, pastries with ingredients like kunafe. I also loved the audio real estate - they were playing what sounded like Middle Eastern music. My nose also picked up notes of cardamom and cloves - so unique! The staff was so pleasant and patient as I asked so many questions about their coffee and treats. I settled on a mufawaar coffee which tasted very different from your usual mocha latte but is just as flavorful and satisfying, as well as some meat pies. I highly recommend the chicken fatayer - it is delicately spiced with pulled apart chicken in a soft wrap that is delightfully chewy. We tried the cheese and zatar fatayer and the cheese and zatar croissant which were both pleasant (but we preferred the chicken fatayer). For dessert we got the pistachio kunafe cheesecake which looks like a Dubai chocolate in cake form. Trust me and get this. It is not too sweet and gets lovelier with every bite. My husband and I fought over the last forkful. It is a little bit pricey at $11 a slice though, but it's worth it! So if you're sick of the typical eggs and bacon breakfast, head on over to Qamaria because it is a sensory delight and a reprieve from your usual order. Surprise your palate and experiment a little.
