Iness is Amazing! I was clueless as to how to go about helping my daughter get ready for prom. Iness and her team treated my daughters and I like royalty and family. My daughter is 17, I was worried that the dresses might look to old for her. But Iness, is so gracious , she knew my fears.. and brought out dresses that my 17 year old would like lovely in and still look 17 . We were able to try on many dresses. Her dresses are very reasonable. Her team took time with us until we found the perfect dress for my daughter. They were extremely busy and very apologetic. I also took one of my goddaughters, and she found her dream dress. I was so taken with Iness and her team, that , I am taking my 2nd goddaughter to find her dream prom dress. Iness is AMAZING. I had a major dress emergency and I reached out to the shop via Instagram . Iness was so quick to respond and was able to set up an appt for me right away to get the perfect dress. And when I say perfect, I mean it in every way. There were so many to choose from and even if the dresses I liked were not in my size she had someone ready to alter them for me the next day. We were looking for a ball dress for my friend's younger cousin and decided to come to Glendale. I looked on Yelp and this store came up so we decided to check it out. They do have very beautiful dresses, but I feel like they are more catered to smaller figures (Asian sizing) Our girl was a size 0 so everything thankfully fit her and looked beautiful. The dresses are pretty and some are custom made, but the price was just above our budget. Some from $499+ and we weren't looking for anything too extravagant since it was a ball/prom dress. I feel like most of these dresses you can find Downtown for way less, but it is convenient and good to know this shop is here. I have no complaints about the customer service. The girls helping us were very sweet and helpful. I didn't care much for the owner/guy up front. He sat at the desk looking all angry and complaining in Armenian. I'm from an Armenian background so I'm used to it, but my friends weren't so didn't want them to think he was talking crap lol. We ended up going to Macys and finding a gown more in their budget and were able to use coupons. I'd come here again if the cost was more affordable, but good to know about this store for future reference. read more

Terrible costumer service! I picked out a few bridesmaids dresses and Iness quoted me $250 per dress. I agreed to this number and returned a few days later with everyone's measurements. Upon my return, Iness indicated that each dress would be $280 instead of the $250 she had told me earlier. I informed her that this wasn't the price she had told me and she began chuckling and saying that I was mistaken. She made me feel like a liar and it was extremely uncomfortable. Trust me, I had made the calculations after my first trip and was ready to pay the amount she had quoted me the first time. In an effort to avoid any additional stress, I agreed to the $280 and ordered the dresses. After receiving the call that my dresses were ready to be picked up, Iness once again told me that she would be able to shorten two of the dresses for $35 each. I knew I should not have trusted her because when my bridesmaids called me from their appointment they informed me that they were actually charging $65 each. I called Iness and expressed my frustration. She apologized and said that she remembers that she quoted me $35-$45 (Wrong it was actually $35) and she would settle for $40. Honestly, this was a few days before my wedding so I agreed once again to avoid stress. When my bridesmaid went to pick up the dresses, she called me and stated that they were now charging her $45 for each dress. Honestly, this is unacceptable. You can't run a business while shaming your costumers. As someone who was planning a wedding, every dollar counted and I was on top of all of my expenses. For someone to tell me that I was mistaken and "couldn't remember" is unacceptable. I would not recommend this store to anyone and if you are going to be purchasing anything from here PLEASE DOCUMENT ALL INTERACTIONS! read more

If I could describe my experience with this store with one word, that word would be RUDE!!!! I walked into this boutique because the flashy, beautiful dresses in the window caught my eye. However, once I entered the store, I immediately felt weird. The employees acted as if I were not worth their time, and they did not greet me even though I was the only customer. We came here because my Daughter wanted a specific prom dress, and the store locator said this store carries it After 2 salespeople made no eye contact we went to the front desk. Their point of contact was a gentleman on a computer who was exasperated and complained endlessly about the manufacturer we were asking about and stated that he has 100s of girls looking for prom dresses and they only send a few. A professional response would have been "I'm sorry, we don't have that in stock, can I interest you in something else? Let's get something straight, finding a dress isn't easy. You want options, you want something that looks nice on you, and most importantly you want HELP! I came in here a while back trying to find a formal dress. The (only) lady in the store was helpful for about 5 minutes until she disappeared because her friends brought in some food. So...I was left a bit confused. It took a few minutes to get her attention. In fact, my mom had to go up to and ask her to help us. Yes they have nice options, but nothing unique. You could easily find better options (for cheaper) downtown. So I found something I liked... a "custom made" gown that the lady emphasized about 50 times. Well, my mom knows a thing or two about sowing and pointed out the flawed and obvious stitching marks. It just did not look nice at all. After pointing it out to the lady she said that once she ironed it and all that it wouldn't be that noticeable hm...I think not. Brought my mother and sister to the store to look for a wedding dress. Iness' was definitely a busy bustling store but when it quieted down we got the service we waited for. The owner and her associate both tag teamed to ensure that we got to try on every dress we were interested in and I was very pleased at how there was no hassle for them to take their beautiful dresses off the manikin. We did purchase the most perfect custom dress from Iness at a phenomenal price and I highly recommend you to buy your dresses here. They have the price and most importantly have the quality. Without a doubt they carry beautiful dresses. I would buy seven at a time if I had the money, it can be hard to choose. I do recommend that you do not bring small children that can't be left unattended into the store. It is sad that some people feel a sense of entitlement to let their children come into anyone's store and potentially destroy exquisite merchandise. I am from New Orleans and live in LA, but I needed a ball gown for a Mardi Gras ball back home ASAP (I had procrastinated assuming it would be canceled for COVID and was scrambling when it wasn't). All I needed was a black dress, so I went to all of the big department stores in the area and NO ONE had any good inventory. Luckily a saleswoman suggested Iness Couture and I hurried over. They were awesome and quick - I told them my price point and that it had to be black and that I needed it like yesterday and they immediately grabbed all kinds of dresses for me to try on. I found one that might work, but panicked thinking maybe it wasn't the right one. Iness agreed to keep the dress on hold until the end of the day and I ran off to one last department store. After I came to my senses, I called her and she was gracious enough to keep it on hold longer so I could come in the next day to buy the dress. They make you try dresses that won't fit, tell you to buy them without returns or exchanges and send you to their tailor for alterations. When you go to the tailor, they say there's nothing they can do because the dress can't be altered. Go back and ask for help, a different size or exchange to make something work and they practically throw you out. Great way to do business. read more

Horrible customer service! I went in and tried a few dresses on, they had a lot of styles but they only had one size available to try on. I did like their selection which is why I gave them two stars, but I will definitely not go back because of the rude employee there. I saw a dress online that I wanted to see, and although it did look very different in person, I did not appreciate having my sense of style criticized. Her comment was extremely rude, and I'm not sure if she was trying to be "helpful" in her opinion, but I had already made it clear to whoever i was with that I didn't like the dress in person, so her opinion was unnecessary.
