Turned out I needed a special adaptor specific to the video connection on the back of my computer. They had the adapter and I left with my problem solved and a new $ 15 part. It worked perfectly when I got it home. They did not charge me for the troubleshoot time. Wow. These guys were efficient, pleasant, and knew their business.
