We have an expensive flat-screen TV that we bought in 2010. It's a Toshiba Regza 46" (cost back then was more than $1000). I love it. The base is better than newer tvs because it's a lot more stable. It finally started getting quirky in 2020. I took it to Coughlin's and they were super attentive and fixed it for about $150 (cheaper than buying a new one). My spouse uses it and wanted something bigger but opted to keep the repaired and working Toshiba as a backup. We sure needed it. Bought an XBR800H Sony 55". I had it on, turned it off for a little while and turned it on but the screen was a light black and power was on. Thank goodness I remembered Coughlin's. Since the Sony is more of a computer than a tv, I didn't know if they'd be able to repair it. $175 a few days later and we have the what was a $600 tv working again. I loathe loathe loathe Sonys. I swore I'd never buy another decades ago. But I forgot ... This time, I told my spouse to remind me not to buy a Sony and I will be reminded if I touch another Sony again. But Coughlin's will be around to fix it when it stops working. I like the shop, the price, the dogs, the employees and the owners. It's funky old and fabulous. Everyone in the shop has been super nice and helpful.

Knowing that most electronics are built with planned obsolescence, and that current similar TVs are much cheaper now than what we paid for ours, we wavered back and forth over trying to get it fixed or just buying a new one. I hate unnecessarily adding to landfills, so we decided to call Coughlin's. They were honest and upfront about everything from the start. They charged us a reasonable fee for pick-up and return, which would be applied towards the price of repair. They weren't able to find a new board for our older TV; Dan said he could try to fix the current board, but that there wasn't a 100% chance of success. Fortunately, they *were* able to fix it and get our HDMI ports working again. Yay! When they returned our TV they made sure that all the HDMI ports were working properly with our setup before they left. Hopefully this has added at least a couple of years to the life of our TV. Dan did say that when this particular set came out it was a top model. And they never tried to sell us a new set instead of trying to fix our old one. I appreciate their honesty and great service. We will definitely go back to them when we do need to finally replace our TV. Thank you!

Every so often, you throw a Hail Mary and it actually works despite the odds stacked against you…read more That's how I feel about my experience with Sell 4 Less. I dropped off my completely dead iPhone XS Max with Nic. I'd spent the last weekend watching it get stuck in a pattern of trying to reboot, overheat, and then ultimately die and refuse to turn back on. I expected Nic to tell me that it was toast. From my first interaction with him, I felt comfortable, which is important when you hand over what's essentially become another limb to a stranger in hopes it can be fixed. He is very easy to work with, great attitude, put me right at ease. But even more importantly, he's very talented. Within a day or two, my phone is back in my hands, back from the dead. I am so grateful that Nic has saved me from spending a ton of money on a new phone and cannot recommend him enough.

Is kind is crazy to me, I pay 11$ an hr for a mechanic to look over my truck. Not a computer. I just think the prices are way too high. Overall I ended up paying 867$ for my compter to be fixed, when a couple 100$ more I could have bought a brand new Mac. And i couldn't even get all my files on my hard drive back. And the drive wasn't even damaged, only the screen was damaged. You pay 65$ when you drop it off, then they called me back to order the screen I could have paid the full bill of 460$, but I decided to pay 220$. And then I was told an 110$ N hour for labor and they'll charge me 4 hrs off the bat. I doubt it even take that long if they're as professional as they say. But then I ended up paying another 580$ when I picked it up. So your telling me another 5 hrs to bypass to get me to get apple again. Idk, it is what it is now. But I believe I was taken advantage of.

Based on that, I purchased a Zero Surge 2R15W surge protector because of their industry history, excellent reviews, active online presence, made in USA manufacturing and much-appreciated military discount. The Zero Surge 2R15W connects to the wall, my APC UPS connects to the 2R15W, and all my home IT equipment connects to the UPS and is protected - the 2R15W protects my UPS, cable modem, router, PC, monitor, laptop, printer, GPSs & phone charger. I recently purchased a high-end gaming desktop and large OLED monitor and feel confident my investment is protected. There are certainly cheaper surge protectors but I did my research and believe Zero Surge is the best.

Exceeded All Expectations - Including Improved Audio and Performance…read moreI purchased three ZeroSurge surge protectors after speaking with their helpful customer service rep, Donna, who answered all my questions. They arrived within a week. I expected them to quietly do their job protecting my equipment, but they did so much more. Build Quality: These are solid, well-made units that stay put. The Surprise Benefit: The audio improvement on my speakers was amazing and completely unexpected. I had been on the verge of returning those speakers, but now I'm thrilled I kept them. Other Benefits: Both my computers also seem to boot up faster. Whatever these surge protectors are doing, the difference in audio clarity and power is remarkable. Bottom Line: I'm so impressed that I'm planning to add more equipment to my setup and am glad I bought three units instead of just two. If you have quality audio equipment, these surge protectors might unlock performance you didn't know you had. I definitely recommend these surge protectors.
