Came here on Father's Day. I've wanted to try it with all the positive reviews. I can say the positive reviews live up to the food. The restaurant is quite small however, nice quaint and very clean. We ordered a number of dishes: Chicken 65, The Spinach Paneer, Lamb Korma and Butter Chicken. We also ordered sides of Rice and Naan. The Chicken 65 was an appetizer. It was a fried chicken fritter similar to a boneless chicken wing. It was delicious and had some kick. The best way to describe the dish would be small bites of chicken covered in a pakora batter. So instead of onion its chicken. The Spinach Paneer was great. It had good flavor and had great texture. It paired nicely with the naan. The Butter Chicken was nice and creamy. It also had a nice a nice hint of sweetness. It was very good. I enjoyed eating it with the basmati rice. The star of the show was the lamb korma. The best part was the texture of the lamb. It was not overly gamey, and it melted in your mouth. The only slight knock on the food was the Naan could have been a little better. It was a little pita like. It wasn't bad, just not what I am used to. The service was great. Our server checked up on us frequently. This has to be some of the best Indian food I've had in a while. This will now be my go-to Indian restaurant. I really can't wait to return. read more

Looking for Indian food in the area and decided on Indilicious again. Butter chicken, mixed of dark and white meat in a delicious sauce. Lamb biryani, chunks of soft lamb without the gamey taste and delicious biryani. We had previously ate here pre-covid as well and I recall the spinach and onion bhaji was also delicious. I've been meaning to try this restaurant for some time now - as the reviews had me excited. Unfortunately, I wasn't overly impressed. I had almost passed from ordering here as the prices were a lot higher compared to many places in the area but my husband had suggested that maybe the prices were higher because the quality was better. So we decided to give it a go. We ordered: naan, saag paneer, butter chicken, lamb biriyani, and the eggplant curry. The lamb biriyani was delicious albeit small - the lamb was super tender and the flavours worked well together and this was easily our favourite dish. The saag paneer was...just okay. The paneer was grilled and the sauce a bit chunkier than other places - which I actually liked - but the sauce was strangely sweet. Both the eggplant and butter chicken dishes were also far too sweet for my liking. The butter chicken was at least very tender and my 10 yr old loved it but I just couldn't finish it. The naan did not taste fresh. I really wanted to like this place but sadly we won't be returning. read more

First time ordering we went in person it was so mouthwatering I couldn't stop eating, second time I went it was okay , we since ordered 3 more times for delivery and it steadily became un enjoyable the second time was so bad I called to complain the girl who answered the phone seemed unsympathetic and indifferent I was told "I will make it better next time and remember your number" last order was not discounted and to make matters worse it was just as bad , It brings me No pleasure to write a bad review i truly loved this place and the food but I guess with all things nothing lasts forever. This is my first stop to Indilicious. Indilicious is a small Indian restaurant with several pretty good reviews. I had read about Indilicious in articles online and in the local paper and tonight I got a chance to try it out. There is not a lot of seating, so making reservations is key if you are looking for a sit down meal. I did not make reservations, so I decided that I would go with take out. There are a lot of good options of the menu. I was steered to my favourite dish which is a Chicken Lababdar. I am also try the Kadhai Paneer. The place is quaint, the staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. They were able to help me out in finding gluten free options and were very familiar with food preparation for people with allergies. I must eat a gluten free diet. The decor is inviting, but not overwhelming. The food was good. The lababdar was spot on, but I found the tandoori chicken in it was a little dry. The paneer I had was good, but I found that the levels of cumin were a little distracting to the over all dish. I was quite happy to find grated ginger in the paneer! I love ginger. I would love to come back and try this restaurant again when I can have a proper sit down. read more

I've been told by locals that a pizza place once existed where Indilicious presides, yet many of them had yet to step foot into this place! Restaurant size: Entering the restaurant you'll face a Big Black-Grey Counter, with a few tables overlooking the windows facing Dundas and Runnymede. Squeeze toward the back (where I presume the washrooms are) and you'll notice that "squeeze" is an appropriate word, with tables lining one side of the corridor and a single-person walking path on the other. Most of the tables appear to have maximum seating for 4, but I'm sure the team can shift some tables around to ensure your group fits. Snugly. Food quality: We ordered a Chicken Biryani and Chicken Indilicious, both of which had ample flavour and the right amount of spice! When ordering, you have the choice to ask for extra spice. In both dishes, the chicken was amazingly tender. For the biryani, the fragrant rice was the perfect texture and not once mushy. Service: Upon entry, we were promptly greeted and all aspects of ordering were standard fare. Given it was around 7pm on a Saturday with minimal patrons, things were quite smooth. It would be interesting to return and see whether things change. As a great surprise, Chef Sujoy came out to greet patrons and ask how the meal was! However, he didn't ask "how was the meal?" he specifically asked what you thought of the items you *ordered*. You can see from his beaming smile that he takes pride in his cooking and strives to share the encompassing experience between chef, food, and patron. This is the second time I've had Indian food, and this was really good! I had the butter chicken, but all the other options sounded just as promising. The butter chicken consists of dark meat, and it is slightly sweet and really rich. This tastes really good and the rice was fresh and fluffy. I'm not sure what authentic Indian food tastes like but this is a great representation because I'm hooked! read more

Wonderful spicing and extensive menu, great service. Had the shrimp appetizer with 5 plump succulent shrimps in delicious could of green peppers and veggies. Lamb Korma was generous, tender with a very richly flavoured sauce. Aloo Gobi was exceptionally flavourful and unique. Just went to a special Valentine dinner with 3 special dishes Haddock Tandoori with a very special sauce, a butter chicken type dish with raspberries, which gave it a unexpected and delicious flavour, and for desert the best brownie with rose infused ice cream. read more

We ordered on the phone and I got theree five minutes early and it was ready. My paneer was great. Others enjoyed the Indilicious chicken the Malvani chicken, Chanda masala, and biryani. Worth noting that the garlic naan is way better than the plain. We got food for six people for $150 including tip and had a lot left over. Next time we will eat in- very pretty and clean. read more

We loved our meal here, just as much this weekend as we had a few years ago when Indilicious first opened. Rich flavorful dishes, all with distinctly different tastes and spices. The Madras lamb curry was outstanding. We also enjoyed the dal and saag combination, eggplant, rice, and naan. A bottle of Gewurtztraminer accompanied the meal well. The waitress was pleasant and helpful. Be warned that there are only a few tables set up for dining in the restaurant because the main business is for take away or delivery. read more

I ordered take out yesterday afternoon from Indilicious and my entire family was quite simply, blown away. My wife and I have enjoyed Indian food countless times, yet this little restaurant somehow eclipsed anything we had ever had before. The rice dishes were perfectly spiced as were all the dishes we ordered. A tremendous amount of care was taken in preparing the food. It is rare to experience food of this quality- kudos to the chef and staff who are clearly on top of their game. Very well done. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES OR YOU ARE VEGAN!!!!! Ordered food from here on uber eats, asked explicitly for everything to be vegan. It seemed like the naan wasn't vegan but since we had asked for everything vegan we assumed they had honored that. A few minutes after eating it I couldn't stop thinking it wasn't vegan. I call them up only to find that apparently they didn't get the message and sent us non-vegan naan. They claimed it was uber eats who didn't send them the message but we've done this many times on uber eats with no issues so either they need to call uber eats and tell them they screwed it up or they were straight-up lying to me. I am completely sure it is the latter. Don't bother ordering here if you have any special instructions that they need to adhere to while making your food. After reading a great review in the newspaper I attempted to Oder food from this place. Voicemail doesn't work. No response to email or online submission. Finally get someone on the phone. Despite on the website it says to call for delivery I am unable to place a delivery order - cause it's not possible. I'm told to pick up or download uber eats. Can't pay over the phone, download the app and surprise uber eats is not accepting order from this place. Total waste of my time. If you get reviews in the newspaper be ready for customers and don't waste people's time who are trying to support your business. Go to Leela Indian restaurant in the Junction instead. Went today, food was delicious. We had Bhindi masala, Aloo Gobi, Lamb Vindaloo, Kadai chicken, and garlic naan. Every thing was fresh, every sauce had a distinct taste. Nothing overly spicy but flavourful. Will definitely be back. read more

This place is a marvel! It's not easy to get Indian food this special. We had the Grilled Paneer and Veggies for an appetizer - very unique and wonderful - and the Chicken Indilicious with rice, and Chana Masala with naan for entrees. Wow, the flavors were fresh and nuanced, the food had obviously been cooked to order just for us. It was among the best Indian food I've ever had. And the service was attentive and friendly. It doesn't look like much from the outside and the lighting is overly bright, but the tables are elegantly set and the food is INCREDIBLE!!! We highly recommend this little gem! read more

Unfortunately it was extremely disappointing. Butter chicken sauce tasted like Campbell's Tomato soup with some chicken grease added. Bhaji was mostly burned dry crunchy pieces resembling McDonald's franchise (but burned), and the naan bread wasn't real naan bread..I think it was grocery store small thick pita bread, just heated up. We often eat at Bukhara on Bloor, North of Bombay in Junction, and Curry Twist. Indilicious was the worst Indian place we ever tried. read more

Simply superb Indian Food. Found this place on a whim the location seems like in the middle of nothing. But the food is far from it the texture depth of flavor in lightens the senses are completely enjoyable experience I would recommend it to anybody it meets expectations above and beyond needless to say I will be back time and time again. read more
