    Punjabi Kadhi

In the past decade, this restaurant has been up and down in quality. I am happy to report that it is back up to five stars now. We have done a couple lunches in the past few weeks and the food was excellent. My wife is not Indian, but she cooks great Indian food. She agrees that the food here deserves five stars. I started with a mango lassi that was thick and had a great taste. Next, I ordered the Punjabi Kadhi with medium hotness and my wife ordered the Chicken Mughlai hot. Both came with Basmati rice. It took over 15 minutes for us to get our lunch and that indicated they were cooking it rather than reheating it. The dishes looked great and the taste was really authentic. The hotness was right on target as well. We always get food that is fresh and flavorful at this restaurant. That's certainly not the case for all Indian restaurants. When you combine the food, the service, and the remodeled restaurant, this is now one of our favorite Indian restaurants.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian Palace, and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Mango Lassi as our drink of choice. We tried a variety of the dishes including Naan, lamb biryani, lamb chops, tandoori wings, chicken Samosas and the Korma were all wonderful the flavors were exquisite, portions and presentation was top-notch. We tried the House specialty Murgh Wajid Ali which I didn't like at all it was bland compared to other Indian dishes and the sauce had an overpowering ginger taste. The service was also quite attentive, making our dining experience enjoyable. The furniture in the restaurant was so beautiful I had to take a picture. Its a very beautiful set up. However, I do feel it's important to mention that the restroom experience was far from pleasant. The cleanliness left much to be desired. The toilet appeared dirty filled with toilet paper, and the sink had an unpleasant brownish tint. The mirror seemed as if it had never been cleaned, which was quite disappointing. While the restaurant's culinary offerings are outstanding, I hope they pay more attention to restroom maintenance in the future. A clean and hygienic restroom experience can greatly enhance the overall dining experience. Despite this setback, I would still recommend Indian Palace for its exceptional food, with the hope that they address the restroom cleanliness issue promptly.

was around the area and decided to stop by this place for some indian food! i hadn't had indian food for months prior to our visit here, so i was looking forward to it. they definitely fulfilled my craving and it was an overall pretty satisfying meal! - atmosphere - the inside of the restaurant is pretty spacious, with plenty of tables and talking space in between. the decor is really nice and it's a pretty quite restaurant, but it could be just because we came during a less busy hour. it's a great place to take your family out for a meal, or smaller or larger groups of friends. - overall experience - we came by on a thursday evening at around 7 pm and were able to get seated pretty much right away. our server was really friendly and although the food took a while to come out, we didn't mind that much. we enjoyed our meal and time here, and i'm glad that i gave this place a try. - recommendations - highly recommend that you must try their saag paneer and chicken tikka masala! 5/18/23 -garlic naan: this naan bread is topped with fresh garlic, coriander, and other seasoning! an order comes cut into 4 pieces, which is great for sharing. the bread itself is on the thinner side, but it's perfect for pairing with the other dishes that we ordered. i don't remember if the garlic flavor stood out a lot or not, but i remember enjoying it regardless. (4/5) -saag paneer: this dish comes with homemade indian cheese submerged in creamed spinach. it was probably one of my favorite dishes that we ordered! the cheese had a great flavor that paired well with the creamy spinach, and the seasonings stood out as well. (4.5/5) -butter chicken: this dish comes with tandoori chicken simmered in a tomato and cream sauce flavored with ginger, and cinnamon. we weren't the biggest fans of this dish because it was simply too sweet for our liking, and the chicken was pretty dry as well. (2.5/5) -chicken tikka masala: you can order the tikka masala with your choice of protein, but we decided to get chicken. the tomato base really stood out with the seasonings, and it was much more savory-tasting than the butter chicken. i think i remember the chicken in this dish being less overcooked too, so that's probably another reason why i preferred this dish. (3.5/5)

They had been here before and wanted to try the smash burgers. I'm a fan of seafood so I ordered the scallop plate. At only $18 I wasn't expecting much. We placed the order and made our way to the restaurant where it was already all set for us! The cashier who checked us out was friendly and the building itself was nicely decorated and spacious. It was busy for a Friday night but not jam packed. When we got home I noticed that they forgot my tartar sauce- a bummer. But the food itself more than made up for the momentary disappointment. The portion size was huge for the price! There must have been atleast 16 scallops in there. Even though we ordered take out the food was still nice and crispy. The batter was excellent and the fries had a great crunchy coating. I would highly recommend Fish and Chix to anyone in the area. The edamame didn't have a strong truffle flavor, all the flavor fell to the bottom of the plate so without dipping it was rather plain. The warm crab rangoon dip was flavorful and was the perfect crisp. We also got the Lobster Spaghetti which didn't have a strong sauce flavor. A little too sweet in my opinion with a buttery flavor. It was interesting that tomatoes were cold and didn't warm up from the dish and eggplant weren't a favorite add.

The hostess welcomed us warmly, and then she asked the dreadful question, "Do y'all have a reservation?" We sadly said no, and she immediately began to express regret. Maybe it was the "Grad2026" headband or the disappointment on our faces that caused her to have pity on us because she told us to wait one second. The hostess walked to the bar, then she went to the main seating area, lastly she went next door where there's additional seating. She returned with a smile and motioned for us to follow her. The hostess found us seats at the bar! We ordered, chatted with the locals, and ate a delicious meal. We even made room for dessert which we learned was made by the owner, the hostess!
