We got a good feel for what we might want and be able to afford before we looked at anything in person. Anthony drove us around Austin to look at properties three times. At one point we thought we had found a place we liked, and he worked with the owners to allow us to sign a lease with a guarantor. When we changed our minds, he went right back to searching for another property for us. When we finally settled on something, he kept us in contact with the owners and the property manager, and walked us through every stage of the leasing process. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and there was never any pressure on us to make a choice quickly or to go outside of our price range. My only complaint about RealtyPros was that a second agent called Dana continued to email me almost every day about setting up an appointment long after we finished looking for a rental. She was really good at communicating with me through email, calls, and texts. On the day we met up she picked me up and took me around the few properties I had selected. She was pretty awesome, really energetic and excited to find me a new place. When I called her later after deciding on the one of the listings she showed me, she drove over to meet me within 20 minutes! Later when I changed my mind and asked to switch to a different property, she was understanding and quick to get everything sorted out even though I had already filled out an application. We started our home buying journey with a few realtors referred to us, but for one reason or…read moreanother, they didn't work out. Then we were recommended the Brinkman Team, and right from the start, they were responsive and professional. Choosing them turned out to be a great decision. We were assigned Joelle, and let me just say, she's a vibe for sure! From the first meeting, she was communicative, responsive, and honest. She toured multiple homes with us, pointing out issues like awkward layouts or homes that wouldn't suit us long term. Her honesty and advice were exactly what we needed. We finally came across a home we loved from the pictures and set up a tour. But that same evening, someone put in an offer, and it was showing as pending or active contingent depending on the various apps. This is where Joelle excelled, and I think this is the difference between an okay realtor and a great one. She encouraged us to go see it anyway, explaining that deals can fall through and it doesn't hurt to check it out. When we saw the home, it was by far the best one we'd looked at in our price range. Joelle went to bat for us, reaching out to the listing agent, staying on top of the situation, and sure enough, that buyer's contract fell through. The situation was a bit unusual, involving solar panels, but Joelle navigated it seamlessly. After the inspection, she walked us through every detail, helping us prioritize what to negotiate. In the end, she negotiated $40k off the list price! Nearing the end, the final appraisal came in above the negotiated price which was definitely a huge win for us! I bring all the above up because things can get messy, and you better hope you have a capable realtor to navigate through it. We were so lucky to have Joelle in our corner. Beyond the buying process, she connected us with a property management company for our current home and recommended contractors to prepare the new one before moving in. The only downside was the Compass app the team uses. It lacked functionality, didn't allow favorites in map view, and missed the neighborhoods we were interested in. All the homes we toured came from a different app, and we had to manually add them to Compass to keep Joelle informed. While this doesn't reflect on Joelle or the team directly, it was a bit of a frustration. Overall, Joelle and the Brinkman Team knocked it out of the park. If you're looking for a realtor who's honest, experienced, and client focused, Joelle is the one you want in your corner. Highly recommend!

In fact, it was a game day on Saturday and that's a big deal in Texas, but they chose to still work with us. They showed us properties in north, south and central as my sister wasn't familiar with the area and wanted to review all options. Our agent, Kendra, made the entire move-in process seamless and was extremely communicative from start to finish. The office manager, Mary, has also been incredibly helpful and responsive anytime we've reached out. When we arrived at the property, we noticed the heater wasn't working. Morris Green immediately sent out a tech from AirZone Heating & AC the very same night, and they had it up and running in no time. Huge appreciation for their quick action. They also arranged for Sunbeam Carpet Cleaning to come out, and the carpets look great--our technician did an awesome job. Today, their handyman Ezekiel came by to repair a kitchen cabinet, and he handled it quickly and professionally. They'll also be returning to complete a few remaining items in the bathroom. So far, Morris Green has done a great job staying on top of service requests and making sure our family is taken care of. They will refuse to return your full deposit for conditions of the home that existed when you moved in. They will look for any reason to not fix the issues with the property. They deny service requests or make it impossible for you to even reach someone at their business. Overall awful experience and the owner will cuss you out on the phone if you raise any issues with him, him being Aaron. They lie. Don't rent from them!!
