John the owner was so very nice. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Lucky for me I didn't need any work today. I'm glad to know this phone and computer repair shop is so close. The friendly customer service is reason enough to return. John gave me personal attention and made me feel welcome. I'm recommending!

They quickly and accurately replaced my cracked, tempered glass screen, protector, which retailed at around $12 (FAR LESS THAN MOST PLACES THAT CHARGE LIKE $30-40) and they offered me their 50% off promo so I paid $7.40 and got it installed for free. I absolutely recommend them and we'll come back and patronize them despite not living in this neighborhood.

When I first walked in he examined my laptop, gave me a written estimate, stamped it and I went on my way. I appreciated that he honored the estimate he gave me. My laptop works perfectly again and I would definitely come back here for any laptop repairs.

There wasn't anyone there and I thought at first I was supposed to buzz to be let inside. Then I realized by reading the sign it's a buzzer for delivery people. Duh Marianne! Alas there's no one there again. The second visit I took a photo of the dark inside door! I'm very disappointed that this place doesn't have the hours advertised yet there's a sign out front offering free estimates. I'm not wasting any more time here.

OMG! I read the many negative reviews and the very aggressive responses from TSS threatening to…read moresue all of the customers who had terrible experiences there. (All the "positive" reviews are planted by the owner and his buddy.) Yet, like an idiot, I thought, "well, they're nearby..." so I gave them a try. They are: 1. Incompetent: they know almost nothing about phone repair. 2. Dishonest 3. Personally abusive I more or less self-diagnosed the phone problem before I came in. Likely a mother board. I arrived on a Friday. The place was a shambles; they were tearing up the flooring themselves, and everything on the counters were in total disarray. No signs of any actual repair work ever being done there. "Leave it with us, give me $25, and we'll call you first thing Monday morning to tell you what's wrong. We guarantee we'll fix it for $99. If we can't, we'll give you your $25 back." Nobody called Monday. Or Tuesday. Or Wednesday. So I called Monday evening. "Um...what phone again? oh yeah, um, we, like tried to turn it on every day..." Vamping to gain time. "Um, we'll totally check it out today and call you tomorrow." Three weeks later nobody had called and I was forced to just buy another phone, so my girlfriend stopped by to pick it up and get the $25 back. They actually mocked her, because although she had the receipt and all the paperwork, she didn't remember the color of the back the phone. (It's not her phone and it was always covered by a case cover, but they are sexist a-holes.) Worse, they refused to give her my money back, and gave no reason, other than they want the money! One of the worst businesses I've ever encountered in New York or anywhere. Believe the real, negative reviews and not the phony "they did a great job" planted reviews. I can almost guaranty the guy will respond with an aggressive rebuttal on Yelp and a threat to sue me, as he has done with all the other TSS customers. Wait and see. If you value your phone, or your money, or your self-respect, DO NOT EVER WALK IN THE DOOR AT TSS.

From the moment I walked in, they greeted me with kindness and immediately offered their help with my daughter's phone. What really impressed me was their patience and understanding. They allowed me to wait for my daughter to arrive--even though it ended up being almost three hours! During that time, they never rushed me, never made me feel like a burden, and instead treated me with so much respect and care. When my daughter finally arrived, after all that waiting, they greeted her with the same friendliness and professionalism they had shown me. They took the time to explain everything clearly to her, making sure she felt comfortable and understood the process. I could see how much they truly cared about helping, not just doing their job, and that made such a difference for us. It is rare these days to find a team that goes above and beyond like that. Their patience, kindness, and genuine care turned what could have been a stressful experience into something so positive. Evie, Eugene, and Dean are a wonderful team, and I am so grateful for the way they treated me and my daughter. Because of them, I left feeling not only helped but also valued as a customer. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs assistance--you will be in the best hands!
