The Flying Dutchman - so good
Marina R.

Order the Flying Dutchman and spread on the side and you won't be disappointed! Customer service is nice, restaurant was clean, and I dined in. I never dine in. So that's really saying something. Also an unexpected is their sweet tea - it's amazing. Try it soon. Xoxo.

Got the job done but fries was stale and was just warm and the bread . Updated menu prices 2025

On our way back home to KC, we stopped here for an early lunch. It was my first time eating here and my husband had eaten at the one in Vegas. Here is my experience: Location: 9/10 I am not really familiar with this area, but I loved the fact that the In and Out was near a highway. It was not crowded at first, but as it got closer to noon, the place filled up quickly with the after church crowd. Customer Service 8.5/10 We ate in and it is mainly counter service. They give you a number after you order. Everyone was pretty laid back, personable, and did not rush us to order when we were looking over the menu. They seemed to enjoy working with each other and having a good time. Bonus points to them for keeping the place clean! Food: 9/10 We waited about ten minutes before we were called for our food. We opted for burger and fries. The food was hot, fresh and it had good flavor and appreciated the decent portions, which was the perfect amount. Our meal was $30 which is standard for the two of us to eat out. I appreciated how fresh the tomato and lettuce was and the beef patty was wonderful too. It was definitely an elevated McDonald's burger and in my opinion, better than Whataburger. Overall: 8.8/10 The food was hot and fresh and everyone was nice. We look forward to coming back when we visit Texas again.

I first ate at an In-N-Out's original location in California 30+ years ago and thought it was the best burger I had ever eaten. I have since eaten at three locations locally and have been disappointed. The service was great but the burger was bland.

Went on a Saturday night. The restaurant had a decent amount of people but there was ample seating for everyone. The cashier was so friendly and helpful. We made a food order and a gift card order. She even offered a water cup while we waited (which wasn't even long)! The burgers are very standard but I think they do it quite well to be honest. I've tried a couple locations in Dallas and have noticed that the burgers are not too greasy or soggy compared to my experiences on the west coast. They hold up well and adding grilled onions is my fave! For a cheeseburger meal + animal style fries and a hamburger meal + a milkshake it came out to about $20. This location was impeccably clean which is greatly appreciated!!!

Came here to try the Flying Dutchman burger, and it was great! I do think the onion is a bit soft so I still would go for a Lettuce substitute instead of the bun. There was lots of cars in the line but it went by pretty quick. I would definitely come back.

First time at a Texas In-&-Out. I could say it's three times better than the west coast ones. Had the double double burger, animals fries and strawberry lemonade. Best 12 dollars I ever spent on fast food.

Simple tasty hamburger, very poor French fries.... Very clean joint with extremely friendly service.

Will go again / been going again - As always, the In-N-Out burgers never disappoint! I'm not a fan of the fries or shakes, but highly recommend any of the burgers. You can look up online on the many different styles you can order the burgers or fries. There are MANY options!

Animal fries and a shake. So good. First time eating here. Definitely coming again. Fries are good.

Can't say No this close to the gas pump. ;)

We stopped in during a cross country trip and due to it's proximity to the sam's club gas pumps. It's been a while since we've lived near an In n Out so we're very familiar with the menu and what you get. What we weren't prepared for was three amazing service we got from Paul behind the counter. He was prompt, friendly and efficient with a smile. While we waited, he never stopped moving, doing all the little things like checking garbage, filling up straws and condiments and ensuring everything was clean. We complimented him on the way out the door. We need more Pauls in the service industry!

large order fries

A friend has been touting how good InOut is ever since their arrival in our area; I've resisted, ignoring all his claims of greatness. After all, I'm a hard fast Texas true WB fan! But finally on an excursion around town, he pulls into the drive-thru at this nearby location and dictates "we're having InOut burgers for lunch today"; I'm at his mercy, he's driving (and paying) :( So he orders 2 burgers; one double meat cheeseburger for him and one single, no cheese, no pickles, extra tomato for me, plus one order fries; friendly fairly prompt service. Home we go; I decided I'd keep an open mind as we unpacked the sack, shared the fries and sat down to eat. It's an okay burger; good sized portion, did have a large extra slice of tomato. The key word here is "okay". Nothing extraordinary, don't understand all the hype. It was just an ordinary burger. However, I'll admit I am glad to have tried it just to say I did; even more so because it was on his dime! Fries, okay, not bad, nothing special; would have preferred o-rings but don't believe these are offered. Yes, WB is still the one and only fast food burger that will make me do the happy dance. Next time lunch is on me, know where we'll be going!

Can't beat a cheeseburger with onion!
Barbara G.

My order: single cheeseburger with onion $3.15. You simply can't beat the taste for the price. I've had $20 burgers that weren't as good. It's all in proportion too - slice of onion and tomato that covers the burger plus crunchy lettuce. Hot melty cheese and perfectly toasted bun with sauce rounds it out. This burger makes me happy! Sometimes I add a lpink lemonade that's very satisfying. Stay away from those weird, weird French fries that tasted like cardboard and you'll be happy too.

I get down protein style.

And it was! Had a spicy kick as you'd expect. It was very busy when I was there so there was a bit of a wait for orders to be taken and for the food to come out however, again, it was pretty packed so I'm not gonna begrudge anyone some delays when things are busy. I sat outside as it was a nice evening albeit slightly chilly and I didn't have a sweatshirt or jacket but that's my own fault. I'd definitely go again but I would also definitely get something other than the Hot Bastard - not because there was anything wrong with the Hot Bastard it's just the are so many good looking burgers on the menu I want to diversify!!!

This unassuming restaurant tucked in a corner of nondescript row of stores has stood the test of time. My first review of the place was in 2013. Here it is 13 years later then it is still going strong. I went for lunch with the family on a snow day. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. No numbers, they just remember who you are. I always get combo number 1 and add sweet potato fries. The prices are great and not much more than McDonalds but the difference in value is significant. The burgers are not thick but this time I noticed the double burger (#2) is just a couple of bucks more than the the single patty in #1. Note to self for next time. Although the patty is thin, the flavors work. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mustard. No ketchup, you add that yourself. The bun with sesame seeds always comes out piping hot. Sweet potato fries are crispy and not greasy. The combo comes with a drink for $10.99. That's a deal. I hope they stay in business another 13 years!

The neighborhood may continue to change around it, but Chip's remains the same. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Chip's has an old school, nostalgic feel. The restaurant has an iconic sloping roof with a yellow outdoor exterior and a big green sign with its logo. Inside, there are plenty of booths, a bar, and even outdoor seating. Chip's has grown and expanded over the years but to me that adds to the nostalgic charm. 1 Star. Service - Chip's may have invented counter service. Upon entering, you look at the menu posted on the wall and place your order. You'll get a number (or they'll ask for your name), and you grab a table, and when your food is ready it comes out. Fast, efficient, and the staff was super friendly. 1 Star. Food - Chip's is known for its poppy seed hamburger buns. While it's pretty and tasty, the most important part, the patty, is pretty average. Honestly, there are many other great burger joints in Dallas. On the other hand, the fried onion strings are a must order for your side. While I wasn't a fan of the burger, the fried onion strings saved my meal. The Oreo and Fresh Banana shakes were also a nice cold, creamy, sweet ending to my meal. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. I hope Chip's never changes.
