This used to be the best sushi and hibachi around. This visit was not as great. The place was clean I will give it that. But we used to get good portions for the price. The sushi I got eel roll and dragon roll was bland. I hate to say I've had better from HEB. My guest hibachi was small in portion. He ordered the fried rice and he referenced it to the rice you get from panda express. It had very small egg pieces and that's it. I tasted it and it was like browned white rice. The steak pieces were very much bite size. Was not impressed for a place we used to love coming to.

It was my first time at the restaurant visiting a friend. I enjoyed the food and the hibachi experience. The person cooking the food did a great job of keeping us entertained. I feel like the food was cooked really quickly as well. I had the fried rice and chicken and shrimp (unpictured). I forgot to take pictures of the food. The fried cheesecake was good but it felt weird eating warm cheesecake. Overall great experience, I would go back.

Wow is all I can say and NOT in a good way!! For the past few years, this is where the family joins to take our mother-in-law on the Saturday of Mother's Day, weekend. and this year we had an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE experience. We were a party of 12 so the near hour wait was expected, but after being seated, the waitress did not arrive to take our drink orders until 26 minutes later and then arrived with them after another 12 minutes.( we still kept positive vibes as you see the smiles in the pic attached). She then took our food orders and we waited another 40 minutes before the cook who she said was "only waiting on her to give him the order slip" finally arrived. He had NO personality (did not greet us, say his name or smile). did not have enough food for the orders,, and his food of choice for the "toss and catch" was rice!! Excuse me, but who wants rice spilled all over their clothes? SMH....also, he disregarded the notation on the order slip, as well as, verbally being reminded by family members of their food allergy to shrimp yet he proceeded to cook the meats together and use the same utensils. We did complain and were "gifted" 6 egg-rolls LoL and a discount of approx 5%!! I'm not saying we will never return, but I can say that I will be advocating for a different restaurant next year!!

Nice Hibachi lunch, Hawaiian Poke Salad. The Hibachi grill includes soup, and salad. I had the shrimp and scallops, my wife had the chicken and shrimp. The food and service were very good. We'll be back. ***Yelp has the opening time as noon on Sunday. It's actually 12:30 pm.

I have been to a lot of Japanese restaurants in America and In Japan's sushi is the best. Good atmosphere, clean, kind staff, I loved it.

The walls were decorated with regular and lenticular posters for a number of different shows. We were greeted warmly and got to select our own table, which had baskets of chopsticks as well as flatware to choose from, along with a roll of paper towels. The menu featured a greater variety than I expected; in addition to nine different bowls of ramen, there was a whole page of mazemen (like ramen but without the broth), several kinds of fried rice, and other selections. I got an appetizer of pork belly bao, which turned out to be two little sandwiches generously stuffed with cabbage, sliced cucumber, mayonnaise and something like hoisin and (of course) pork belly--so good! My partner got pork gyoza and gave me one--super tasty and done exactly as requested. For entrees, he got the Tonkatsu Ramen (#3 on the menu. I tried a bite and loved the flavor; he finished every drop. I had shrimp fried rice, which turned out to be a humongous portion including more and larger shrimp than I expected. I also want to mention that our waiter brought me a fresh glass of soda before I finished the one I was drinking--much appreciated! I never had to sit thirstily waiting for a refill. Highly recommended if you like anime--or ramen--or a good experience!
