Love, love, love! Went in for my 2nd massage today and Chuy did not disappoint. Great location for those driving in; parking lot with plenty of parking and easy to find. The place was clean and smelled fresh with gentle scents (not overwhelming or strong). He made sure the pressure was good asking once and keeping a steady amount from that point on. Ample parking and both times I was there, there was a security patrol cark parked which made me feel safe. Bathroom was very clean and the room too is very clean with ample space. I found Chuy through a google search last night and decided to book a morning appointment with him for today. 1) I am a stickler for time and always early and appreciate that he arrived spot on time and parking was not an issue at all. 2) How awesome that he is located less than 4 minutes away from my home. 3) I explained to him my current "isms" and what I've been going through for the past few months and he was very mindful of the work that I needed to get done on this initial visit. 4) He was very gently yet assertive with his techniques and really focused on the areas that I expressed were currently problematic for me. 5) It was my first time cupping and he explained the whole process and let me know what I would/should be feeling. 6) He was able to quickly detect other problem areas and did some good work to loosen those areas for me. I'm looking forward to seeing him next month to continue to target my problematic areas! Jesus (Chuy?) was really professional, paid great detail to the knots on my body, more so than any other massage experience I've had. I usually get Swedish massages, or "relaxation massages", but this was a deep tissue massage which comes with a little discomfort. Think "hurts in a good way", during my massage I thought "dang, I never knew how stiff I was!" The location did throw me off if I had to be honest, In-depth massage shares the same building as a crossfit gym and I think a tattoo shop? But the massage room itself was clean and comfortable. I've gone to Chuy for massage about 4 times now. He is very professional, pleasant and timely, and most importantly, he is highly skilled at his craft. I have a lot of issues (I think I have more areas with issues than not - LOL) and he makes me feel a whole lot better each visit. I always book a 90 minute deep tissue. I highly recommend him if you need a serious massage. The location isn't fancy. Its not a "spa" experience. It's just one room and a waiting area in not a fancy area. However the place has free parking and it's a convenient location. It's clean and the table is heated (if you like). You'll definitely feel better when you leave. Women, DO NOT GO HERE FOR A MASSAGE! Massage therapist asked about giving me a "Sensual Massage" in the middle of our session. I was unrobed and on the table. I don't write reviews often--especially negative ones--but this felt like a serious violation. I want to inform and protect others. On Monday, April 7th, 2025, I went in for my massage scheduled with José "Chuy" at 10:45 am. It was my third session with him and up to this point, I had really enjoyed his work. The massages were professional and well done. He has great technique. I came out of our sessions feeling better. He has a bright and seemingly kind personality. That all changed in this session. As I am unrobed, on the table, with my leg in his hands, he asked if I'd let him give me a sensual massage. I was stunned by this question and felt incredibly uncomfortable. Massage can be tricky because any area of the body can be tight or in need of therapeutic care, including intimate zones and the areas around them. However, the client's comfort and personal boundaries must always be centered. He did not touch my intimate zone but he did edge closer to some areas than he normally has in the past. At the time, I didn't think much of it--until he asked the question and his intentions became clear. He brought up the sensual massage again at the end of the session. When I asked what he meant by "sensual massage," he wouldn't clarify whether it involved touching erogenous zones.This leads me to believe it does involve that touch but he intentionally omitted that information. He also shared that he gets pleasure out of giving pleasure. This is a completely inappropriate comment to make to a client. I am not his partner. I am a client who came in for a therapeutic service. He took advantage of a vulnerable space to center his own desires around my body. I feel highly uncomfortable that this happened. There was no regard for how inappropriate and unethical this was. Many women and people are survivors of boundary violations including sexual violence. There was no awareness of how this kind of request could harm or trigger someone. Let alone, it is not within the ethical guidelines for massage therapists. PERIOD. I do not recommend this practitioner. Massage therapists need to be especially mindful to engage in ethical conduct and respectful communication. Please be safe out there. read more

This was literally the best massage I've had in a really long time. I was referred to Chuy by a friend of mine who knew I needed someone with really strong hands and who would be super responsive to feedback. He was that and so much more. I'm a dog walker and already had back, neck, shoulder and hip issues prior to starting in the industry and they've only gotten worse since. After just one session I feel significant relief. I was so in need of a massage (it's been nearly a year since my last). I wasn't sure where to go so I did a little investigation. I used to go to Renaissance Club Sport (Now the Bay Club). I know folks who regularly go to Massage Envy and I used to think of it as a reasonably priced massage studio. Not anymore...$145 for a massage? nah. I found In-Depth massage and made an appointment. It was reasonably priced and conveniently located and at worst it would feel good, right? It was way more than "at worst." This is the best massage I've had in my life. Second place is not even visible in my rear view mirror. Chuy (chew-y) texted me to confirm our appointment and ask if we could start 15 minutes later than originally schedule. Yes. Not a problem. Points for great communication right off the bat. I arrived on time and Chuy was ready for me. He's got a clean, simple, well-appointed room. He's a nice guy. He asked me what I needed, sought, what my areas of concern were....He left the room so i could disrobe and when I had and was on the table and under the sheet I called for him. WOW. i was blown away. I indicated my desire for a deep tissue massage. Afterward, Chuy confirmed that he was delivering heavy duty deep tissue. It was perfect. Like any other massage we started with me face down, back and shoulders first...left side then right. Lower body, right side then left; flip over; torso, right and left; trunk, left then right. At the end as he was starting on the lower right side of my body i was enjoying the feeling of 3/4 of my body being in a totally relaxed state and knew the final quarter was soon to be completed. When the massage was over he left the room and told me to take my time. I took a few minutes and rose... We talked after and I gave him a few notes...maybe start with trunk first next time and end with upper body? Unconventional, yes. But, he will accommodate. Pressure on upper body was perfect, but perhaps a little less in the trunk. I have a sense that Chuy recorded my ideas. I cannot recommend Chuy any more highly. This is an amazing massage. I shouldn't say this, but his price is crazy reasonable. Now, this is not a spa. There's not a sauna; there's not "lemon water"; there's no floor-length robe with little slippers. This is a massage. Heated table (I asked him to lower the temp and he did immediately). One extra nice touch: He ended by massaging my feet...NICE...and then he put hot wet towels on them. What a way to end. I promise you will not be disappointed. I had a 90 minute massage and it was perfect. I think in the future I'll go for 1 hour but twice as frequently...i dunno...it's hard to improve on perfection. read more

I like to wait until I experience a service at least twice before writing a review. I want to make sure the experience and level of service are not flukes either way. The thing I will say about Chuy is his level of service, attention to detail, and effectiveness are all highly consistent and 5 stars across the board. I have found that I am a very difficult client when it comes to massages: very tense, super ticklish, and have a bunch of sensitive areas. I just know there is no way I am an easy massage client.
