Had a great massage with DJ. Definitely want to schedule again. He had great, strong hands.

If you need a great massage in a pinch, this is the place for you. I've been going here for a few years and it never disappoints. The rooms are always clean, the therapists are well trained with strong hands, and they'll take care of what you're looking for. I just saw JD and had a ton of neck and shoulder pain. He magically found all of my tense spots and worked them out, one by one. He also kept making sure the pressure was as I wanted. It's hard to find a massage therapist who listens to and understands the human body that well. I'll be going back for sure! read more

We 3 friends had simultaneous hour+ massages: Deep but relaxing, and very careful around any identified sensitive or injured areas. Our requirements were very different, but we were all very relaxed, body-conscious, wet-noodles when we left. It's a joyful staff in an older office space. Treatment rooms are spotlessly clean, with lovely music. read more

I needed a good massage today after getting a bad one at a different place yesterday and Crown Thai did not disappoint. Amazing massage 5/5. Good firm pressure, feeling much better afterwards. Will return again soon. read more

After a week of sailing, my 63-year old muscles were SORE so I needed a deep tissue acupressure type massage to work out stiffness in hips, core and upper shoulders (from holding on to things constantly with all the rocking and rolling of the boat pitching against the waves!) m. Leena's strong intuitive hands did wonders. Yes it was painful but a day after it did wonders for my flexibility and mobility. Highly recommend Leena if you handle that level of strength. read more

Have been going to Crown Thai since they opened Normally, I have Joe (one of the partners) give me therapy ALL of the therapist are talented-- Been getting regular massages for decades At several places...Physical and mental health must Today, I was lucky enough to have JD Super session Worked on places no one has touched in the past Highly recommended JD and everyone in this special place!! read more

Such a cute place. Loved my masseuse! I booked the 2 hour Thai massage and it was really wonderful!

My body felt so terrible, at some point I couldn't even sleep at all due to body pain. I also had swollen lymph nodes under my arm, and sometimes they felt like massive bruises, it was awful. I decided to treat myself to a massage, to see if it would help. I'm so glad I did! First time I did this, I was able to bend my neck both left and right without pain. Second time, my swollen lymph nodes started to disappear. Third time, my arm could comfortably roll around in circles! I feel like I am being rejuvenated every visit. My favorite is Leena because she can *really* go hard. read more

Tina is excellent and strong, and knows anatomy. She will adjust the pressure according to your wishes, and will concentrate on the areas of your body that most need massaging. If you are nice she might put a warm towel on your feet and arms at the end of the massage. read more

The experience was decent, but if you're used to traditional Thai massage, it might feel a bit lacking. They don't offer back walking, and there aren't any balancing rails to help the therapist apply pressure the way you'd expect at a typical Thai massage place. While the massage itself was fine, it missed some of the key elements that make Thai massage so effective for deep tissue relief. read more

I got the Thai Jade Gua Sha massage (lymphatic drainage massage) Face and neck by Patricia. It was incredibly relaxing and therapeutic. I came in with tight shoulders and upper back...now that was taxing, but it was well needed. The Gua Sha portion on my face was soothing and light. I ended up going home and messing up my sleep because I knocked out about 45 mins when I got home around 7pm and now I'm writing a review at 2am because reasons... The place itself was very clean and welcoming, parking is a bit tough though because it is Montclair. read more

3 for very nice people, clean space and communication prior to massage. I understand that I'm rating this based on my needs and experience receiving massages many other places. I think this place is good if you like a light touch and stretch. I was highly disappointed in what they called "deep massage" and even when I asked my masseuse for harder and deeper pressure, nothing changed. For the price, I got rubbed on and even the lightest "stretch". If you have any real need to get your muscles and body taken care of, I don't recommend here. If you like a light or beginner experience, this may be a good fit. read more

Great massage! Clearly talented folks who know what they're doing. One of the best massages I've gotten in the bay. - Easy to book online - Really clean and well-lit, comfortable beds - Super nice people - Easy communication re: pressure and focus areas read more

Ok, wow. Definitely in the top 3 massages of my life, definitely the best in terms of how healing it was to areas where I've been having trouble. Elly is strong! But also very sensitive to applying the right amount of pressure as needed, she checked in with me several times, which I appreciated a lot. I loved the combo of Thai and Swedish technique, and the gentle stretches. The next day all the muscles connecting my back, hips, and thighs felt better than they have in months. I am so appreciative of Elly's work that I have stretched three days in a row since in order to prolong the benefits - that is a record for me! read more

- Easy booking via Web site. - Bright, clean and nicely decorated place. - Massage room is spacious and massage table is comfortable. - Had a Thai Deep Tissue Combo with Elly. I was on a massage table, undressed, under the sheet/blanket at all times. Only areas being worked on are exposed. Elly asked for desired pressure level and if there are any areas that need more attention. Her pressure is right on, and she checked in occasionally on the pressure. - It was a very good massage, and I had a nice experience. - Highly recommended! read more

I had my second visit at Crown Thai Massage and Layla doesn't disappoint. She continuously checks in and touches on your focus areas with care and attention. I hadn't experienced a thai massage before and I have to admit I'm hooked. I've been getting the Thai Massage + Deep Tissue combo and it has given this chronic pain body some relief. What I also appreciate is that I'm not sore the next day or thereafter I feel a sense in places that have felt tight and sore. So if you're in the fence I highly recommend you giving them a try...Parking is too difficult and the service and venue is clean and peaceful...it's not pretentious it's comfy and welcoming space...matter fact let me go rebook for my next service read more

I'm am so so happy that I found Crown Thai Massage!! I've been there three times in the last month. My first two massages were with Joe and they were great. The space is well maintained, clean and inviting. I decided to try the Gua Sha 30 minute face massage with Patricia and I have to say- I'm hooked! I could see the change in my face immediately, tighter/ firmer jawline and my skin was glowing. I can't wait to go back for the 85 minute face and body lymphatic massage. This place is a gem, the staff is amazing and my body truly feels the benefits. I highly recommend Crown Thai massage. read more

Same day appointments available. 15% off first time clients. Friendly service. Multiple massage type options.

I had a great experience today at Crown Thai Massage. I came in because I was having back and neck pain and I was easily able to book an appointment on the website. I called in advance to ensure my therapist would wear a mask and Joe happily let me know he wears a mask for all seasons. His hands were strong and provided the perfect firm pressure. I have had hundreds of massages but this was my first experience with a Thai massage. I feel like he payed attention to all of my aches and pains and the reflexology on my feet was heavenly. At the end of our session he sprayed a hot towel with bergamot aroma and performed traction on my neck. I was so relaxed, it was hard to leave the table. I immediately want to book again. I highly recommend Crown Thai massage and can't wait to try the other offerings they have! read more

My best friend and I just discovered this place. We each had 85 min massages. Both of our massages were wonderful! Highly recommend. I had Joe she had Tina. I've tried lots of Thai massage and this is the one to keep coming back to! read more

This is a great spot in Montclair for Thai-inspired body massage. I've had several massages with different therapists at Crown Thai this summer and each time has been a great experience. All massage therapists are well versed in Thai techniques and they will design a unique session based on your input. There's a big menu of massage offerings - somehow each one I've tried seems to be the best one yet! With stretching and myofascial release, followed by massage of choice, the therapist always manages to find and relax my tight spots, often without me realizing that I had any tightness. Crown Thai Massage just started two-hour massages (1 hr 55 mins) which for me is the optimum duration. The place is clean and bright and the staff are friendly, caring and superb at getting the knots out. Not on the cheap end, but well worth the price. There's also 15% off the first massage for new clients. There's also a cup of hot tea when your massage is over, or cold water if you prefer. read more

I just recently found this gem if a place in Montclair Village and I am so glad I did. The place is spotless and inviting and the website makes it easy to make appointments. Had an exceptional massage here with Elly. I was about 6 weeks postpartum and she did wonders on my sore and transitioning body. Loved how she incorporated hot stones as well. Excellent pressure, I left feeling transformed! Staff was very friendly and welcoming, making an appointment online was a breeze, and the space was relaxing and clean. read more

Great massage! Felt very relaxed after - my first Thai massage. I'll definitely be back!

I was feeling in need of a good massage and received a great one. Crown Thai is a welcome addition to the village. Everything about it was easy- scheduling, communicating what I was looking for and paying. It was a reasonable price and an exceptional experience. Masking was happening on both ends, making me comfortable with life as it is today. New client discount currently available at this new business is another plus! read more

I've been to Crown Thai Massage twice now, and have had a great experience both times. This newly opened studio is bright and sunny, beautifully decorated and is sparklingly clean. The owner is very welcoming, and the two therapists I had were just terrific - very intuitive, responsive to any specific requests and really top notch. I came in today with an injury to my calf muscle and my therapist worked on it very effectively and gave me some stretching tips to aid in healing. Montclair Village has been lacking a full service massage studio for ages, and I'm so happy that Crown Thai Massage is here. They offer several types of modalities, including pre-natal massage, Thai Massage, combinations of Thai and sports massage, or Thai Massage and Swedish Massage, etc. Given the expertise of the therapists, you'll leave here feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Highly recommended. They're also offering a 15% discount for new clients, so check it out! read more

One word. Bliss. I had a 55-minute-deep tissue massage with Samanta today. I have not had a massage in a while due to the expense. The massage today was worth every penny. She could feel the tightness in my neck and shoulders and paid special attention to that area. Easy to schedule on-line. It is a serene, comfortable and clean environment. I will schedule regular massages with her in the future. It was the best massage I have ever received. read more

This place does everything perfectly! I had my third Thai Combination massage from Crown Thai today. I have had Thai massage for years. The person I have been with each time at Crown Thai is amazing. Deep, goes where massage is needed. Absolutely fantastic Thai massage. I need very deep pressure and don't even need to ask for it when I'm here. It just happens. I'm so happy they have come to Montclair. I used to drive into SFO for Thai massage. The rooms are spotless, with a simplistic elegance to each. They still wear masks, which I appreciate! The place is brand new and there is a smart, simple elegance to the design of both reception and massage rooms. The massage beds are extremely comfortable; sheets are soft. Hot towels are used during and after massages. I LOVE that! Each time I call, the reception remembers who I am, and remembers what I had before and with whom. Everyone is very friendly. It's right here in Montclair, and they have designated parking spots. It's a lovely, quiet place. I love all the different Thai massages they offer; many are new to me (even though I've been getting Thai massage for years other places don't have the Thai massage variety) and I can't wait to try all of them. This place gets everything right. And their hours are hospitable to people that need massage after 5:00 pm, and on weekends. read more

Amazing massages in a beautiful clean spa setting. I just had a Gua Sha massage with Patricia and it was magic. I can't wait to go back.

Booked a full body massage + Gua Sha message with Patricia. She was able to see me on the same day I booked, and it was so wonderful. Patricia is definitely an expert. I felt comfortable and taken care of for my entire visit and left refreshed and happy. Will definitely be booking with Patricia again. read more

Wow, such a good massage!! My favorite spot, Beau on Grand, closed during the pandemic so was in search of a new spot. I found out about Crown Thai Massage via a recommendation in NextDoor, and they did not disappoint! Wasn't sure what to get, so booked a Thai/Swedish combo with the first-time discount. It was perfect, great pressure, very relaxing, and well worth the price. Excited to have them in the neighborhood, and will be back soon! read more
