One thing they love to do is mark your order as complete but when you get there, it's never done. They do this to seem like they have a good track record for delivery but in reality it's the complete opposite. They are SLOW. The food they make is good but just the service is terrible. Food contains veggies and not too much of your selection so don't count on them packing your bowl up. Review is for the food only, I didn't get a chance to try their drinks. I would recommend getting their noodle but they definitely need training in customer service. While I was inside the store, they were giving out free drink samples in their storefront. A girl holding a tray of sample was walking around to offer the drink. She went to all tables but skipped mine. We had eye contact so I'm positive that she saw me. No idea why she did that, maybe I was unlucky. I ordered hot and sour noodle soup with pork intestine, guilin style rice noodle and braised egg. Their braised egg is the darkest egg I have ever seen but it tasted yummy. Their noodles were good and I prefer dry over soup noodle. You need to make a order in the counter and they will bring the food to your table whenever is ready. I requested for a spoon and my server just dropped it on my tray. I might be a bit picky here but I just cannot imagine someone would do this to their customers. I got my most expensive bubble tea ever from here. It was $8 for their signature Roasted Macchiato Brown Sugar Bubble Tea with egg yolk cheese macchiato. The bubbles were chewy but a bit mushy. I think if they cooked it any longer it would've been overcooked. The macchiato that comes with the drink is already really creamy. I shouldn't had added the egg yolk cheese macchiato. I couldn't taste the tea at all. It felt like I was drinking cream. The egg yolk cheese macchiato truly taated like egg yolks! The staff were very nice and helpful. They explained to me that macchiato here is not the same as a traditional one. In fact it's nothing like a traditional macchiato. There's no expresso and no steamed milk. The macchiato here means cream. I thought it was odd when I saw all the staff whispering and examining a prepared drink. When I realized it was mine, I went up to them and asked if something was wrong. They looked nervous and one of them tried to explain to me that they were worry about the egg yolk cheese macchiato on top. Honestly I didn't fully understand the explanation. I've been here a few times already. So sad to see they don't have more stars. Everytime I've been there so far, the staff have been nice and the drinks have been so good. When I try a new bubble tea spot I always get my staple Black Milk Tea with Bubbles. It's good here but the drink that had me come back for more was the Fresh Taro Milk. I would have this for breakfast everyday if I could. It was filling and delicious. I've brought my kids and friends here as well and we've tried the Brown Sugar Bubble Milk drink (sooo good that I drink it way too fast, even the bubbles), Mango Tea w/Coconut Jelly (my son's favorite), Yakult Lemonade (good for the kiddies, I like it too lol), Pineapple Passion Tea (so refreshing and I love the pineapple pulp, also not too sweet) and recently I tried the Lychee Four Seasons Tea (this may be a new favorite because I love the small chunks of lychees and it's also so refreshing and not too sweet.) What sets this Bubble Tea shop apart from the rest are the fresh ingredients particularly in the fruit teas and the tapioca bubbles are so soft and not too chewy. They also have food here, unfortunately I've only tried the Guilin Style Rice Noodles. The thin slices of meat were good and I really like the pickled string beans. I have seen other customers sitting at tables with different dishes and they all look delicious! Anytime I am in the neighborhood I will definitely be making a stop here. read more
