I recently received quotes from multiple electricians to install a GFCI connection for my new hot tub. These guys had the best pricing and the soonest availability. I confirmed that they would be installing the electrical box to code, they looked it up and verified the correct statutes and regulations. The technician showed up on time and began work right away, the project was a little bigger than I had originally explained but we came to an agreement and he took care of it no problem. Last minute I realized that I should add a seperate GFCI connection to power up devices I might use like lighting and blenders etc we came to another agreement and he was able to show up bright and early the next day and wrap that up for me! Actually at the end of the job I saw that the outlet was a couple feet short of where I had originally wanted it, and the tech asked me if I wanted it changed, I said sorry but yeah if we could move it over a few feet I'd appreciate that.... he took an extra 30-40 minutes to get it right for me and did not complain or have a bad attitude about it. Silvan is amazing to work with! I sent out a request for quotes for a lot of electrical work that needed to be done to my investment property. I'm talking DIY stuff done over several decades. Non-grounded electrical. Having to climb on the roof to tighten wires kind of stuff. Some electricians seemed almost bothered to be asked to look at it. Not Silvan. He responded right away with a positive, respectful attitude. He texts, emails, Yelp messages, and calls all in a responsive way. He's open to whatever communication method you prefer. He was able to think creatively and go through our whole inspection report to see what needed to be done, and what was just a silly comment the inspector made (like complaining about wires that were actually not connected to anything and just trash, which he took and threw away). He charged a reasonable price, was available pretty quickly, and is our go to electrician for this property and any other Chicago ones we pick up. silvan called me gave me his phone number after i explained and to send him an email for my address phone and time explanation of install,.....twice....didn't go through...tried to call and message said not in service. silvan called told me and said his number wireless phone didn't pick up in the area....well, too much confusion and thought it best to cancel! what starts wrong ends wrong!!!! sad! just received silvan's review comment! silvan gave me his email that and because of his accent and interruption for me to give him info i said the letters of his email for example "g" as in george, a as in apple r as in robert, etc., you get the idea! when i sent the email with all my info it came back "mailer-daemon@yahoo.com!!!! then he called me to say just give me the address that would be more completed and erroneous for him to understand than his phone number that never went through! silvan has a heavy accent and now i'm getting called from someone with a heavy accent calling me saying hello ... hello...hello not identifying herself but with the same accent as silvan! look here now, there was better communication with my yorkie than with silvan and i've blocked the call because not understood to this female to identify herself or don't keep calling me back 5 more times! silvan may have gone to an address he misunderstood as he did when i had to spell out the letters for him and then it was wrong! when i asked him what time could he come he changed it with further confusion and not a window of time or a correct window of time. silvan may be a good fellow but lacks comprehension of english! i had to have him listen to me to identify the letters of his email for me to send to him with all my info and was not able to phone him back! still silvan gave to me erroneous email address and i couldn't risk any further mistakes so and he wouldn't correct his email address to try to send to him again. it was as i stated it is and i can't force a lack of comprehension to be further mishaps that he may go to a different address other than mine! hence, the email was very important for him to 'refer' to and i have nothing further to do otherwise. read more
