Richard worked diligently to solve the wiring problem I had paid a different electrical service to fix 3 months prior.

Not enough stars to do justice for this company I had a very difficult project and was told that there was -0- chance of it being accomplished the way I needed it to be done..WRONG These guys knocked it out in 1.5 hours and did an amazing job. Not a chance in the world I would ever consider another company for an electrical project in the future read more

Great customer service! The technician was very helpful and efficient. Would recommend

Efficient. On time. Did the work correctly and the price very fair with professionalism.

I had a great experience with Aardvark Electric installing my Tesla charger. The entire team was professional, friendly, and communicated clearly from start to finish. Even the owner was personally involved to ensure everything ran smoothly and handled pulling all the necessary city permits without any hassle. The installation looks clean, works perfectly, and passed inspection without an issue. read more

Hi--I scheduled an appointment a week beforehand as my family is selling my parents' condo in Warrenville. Aardvark was initially professional and confirmed. I called them the day of the appointment as I drove out from the city to work on maintenance issues. They confirmed time then called me back and cancelled saying their workers had another appointment with a commercial property. It was very disappointing and I see a few other reviewers saying the same. Please don't cancel last minute on people who need repairs. To be fair, they called back to reschedule but the damage was already done. I booked another company in Batavia who was so professional and showed up on time today. I needed to install an under sink GIF power outlet and I chose AArdvark because of the high yelp rating. I am very pleased with the service, response time and quality of work. Laura who arranged the service was friendly and helpful. I was lucky to get someone to come in the same day, as one of the electrician had prior job done earlier. Mike came in to install the outlet and he had all the material ready to install immediately. He not only install the outlet but also fixed a loosened wire nearby to make the area safer. He is nice to work with and efficient, speedy but not rushing the work. The rate is reasonable, charged by the time spend instead of a flat rate. I highly recommend them and I will be calling them for future projects. read more

AArdvark Electric Service - Electricians Near Me

I appreciated the fast response. It saved us from having the power cut by the city. I must say, the charge was kind of high.

I can see why Aardvark is rated so high! I was looking for an electrician to install 4 ceiling fans and 2 mini pendant lights. I requested quotes from 5 different electricians in the area, but had a good feeling about aardvark. They were speedy! I submitted a quote request and first thing the next morning, Frank reached out to discuss details and pricing estimates. Michael and Christian were the electricians that came to install and they were extremely polite and personable. They completed the work faster than I expected and I am extremely pleased with the outcome! Aardvark is definitely the best in the area with fair pricing (and are insured) and I'm so glad we went with them. Anyone looking for electricians I HIGHLY recommend. Will definitely call them in the future if I have any other projects! read more

Had another great experience from aardvark electric services today! With scheduling the service with Laura on the phone, following up on the phone with Frank, the owner, who provided me with a detailed explanation of the pending job and completion of the job the following day with Christian, this was a seamless, smooth experience overall! Christian installed a new electric panel today in my home. He arrived promptly , even a bit earlier than expected which was great, and completed the job in a professional and conscientious manner. His personable and friendly manner are additional assets that he brings to the job which is valued and appreciated! Thank you Aardvark for your outstanding service! read more

Quality work at reasonable pricing. Prompt and professional. I would use these guys again for sure!

I can't recommend Aardvark enough. Not only were they reasonably priced, their service was top notch. Scheduling with Laura was very easy, and Richard an excellent technician showed up on time, clearly explained the work being done, and cleaned the site upon completion. Great experience and if I ever need electrical work in the future they will be my first call read more

Second time I've used their services. First time installed 2 brand new vanity lights in the master bathroom. 2nd time installed chandelier in our living room. Both jobs required running new electrical wiring. They are tidy and managed to avoid cutting through the ceiling of the living room by finding an access point in the area. Am ecstatic. Amazing value. Got quotes from 3 other electricians where some charged double. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend them. read more

Arrived on time, did everything requested in a professional manner and a very reasonable charge.

Frank is very friendly and experienced! I had told Frank what issue I was dealing with and instead of him wanting to come out and charge me, he walked me through what may be the issue. I was able to speak with him over the phone and he knew exactly what was going on. I did exactly what he told me to do and the problem was fixed! Frank is definitely not out here to make a quick buck but instead will walk you through what may be the problem and if that does not work he seemed more than welcome to come out and take a look at the problem. He is very knowledgeable and I would recommend him to all my friends and family. read more

I've been hiring them repeatedly for years for all my home improvements. Very happy! Friendly, creative, and quality work.

I called here this morning to have some electrical work done at my house.Laura answered the phone and was very pleasant and happy to answer my questions. They had a cancellation so Michael was able to come in the afternoon and showed up early. He was able to get the job done with no problem and was very nice to work with. I highly recommend this business. Thanks!! read more

Friendly tech came and fixed a broken light switch. Will gladly use this company again. I recommend.

They give their initial/travel rate and the subsequent hourly rate up front. I didn't use this company but I did appreciate being given the rates up front. read more

I requested a quote for a panel replacement. They sent a tech to our home to take pictures and get the necessary information. We had to plan around work and a 2 month old baby to be available for this but we never ended up getting the quote. I called to ask them where they were at with it after a month of waiting and they're response was that Frank, the owner, must not have gotten the information and that they'd make sure he was scheduled to put together a quote. After another few weeks, we still hadn't received anything. I called again (now two months after the initial request) and their office admin/scheduler, while very nice, explained that there wasn't anything she could do because they're too busy and behind on new requests. To me, that sounds like they're taking new service requests before even addressed mine which was submitted 2 months ago. If they're not taking new orders, I would have wished that they just denied my initial quote request, thus saving my time having to meet with their tech and wait for the quote. I would have worked with someone else and probably had this project done by now. My guess is they're not taking new business so proceed with caution. read more

Did a small job for us Very friendly service man on time in fact was early but called to see it f it was ok Neat got the job done Have other projects will call for them to do read more

I got 2 ceiling fans installed in my master and guest room, both of which didn't have existing fixtures. It took about 7 hours to complete and it looks wonderful! The master had 11' lofted ceilings and the guest was a standard room. Brad was great to work with, he was very efficient and was respectful of the space. Laid out his own tarp, took off his shoes, and cleaned up after the job was done! I'm very happy with the results! The whole process was very easy, from getting a quote to setting up a time and getting it knocked out. read more

After a horrible experience with a previous electrician, I did more research and found Aardvark. I am happy I did. They were responsive to my slight emergency involving smoke detectors and even pulled one of their electricians from another job to get to my house. Richard thoroughly explained everything and spent the time to examine my entire home smoke detector system. Aardvark is getting all my future electrical work. You can trust them. read more

Great experience.. contacted Aardvark through Yelp and received a prompt response. Set up a date for them to complete my repairs. Our electricity went out overnight. I called Aardvak at 07:15 am. They answered, listened asked questions and suggested we call ConEd instead. They explained what had likely gone wrong and how we could save time and money by speaking to the source. And they were right. Super nice, helpful and informative. Gotta be impressed with that level of honesty. read more

Excellent work done by Aardvark Electric Naperville! Brad's work looks so amazing! Frank, the owner, is very pleasant and helped us with planning. We enjoyed working with the Aardvark team! We had them add one 120v outlet, three 240v outlets (car charger, electric stove and electric dryer) and a sub-panel to accommodate. Frank was not only knowledgeable but respectful and friendly. He was able to patiently answer all my questions and explained the process on the phone. Chris and Mike came to our house the day of and completed all work as requested. Left the space clean and were very nice to talk to. Frank with Aardvark Electric came to our home and had good ideas for addressing a need to add multiple exterior receptacles with dedicated circuits. It was a complicated job involving work in 2 sub-panels, running new wires through multiple junction boxes, opening a wall to find a junction in the conduit, drilling through natural limestone walls, and trenching in the yard. Frank let us know what to expect in terms of time and cost to do this work in our 1960s vintage home. Frank's team did the work efficiently and carefully, They came up with good ideas and the results are impressive. We have all the exterior circuits needed for our deicing cables and everything looks great. We chose Aardvark because of their knowledge and experience. You may find less expensive electricians, but not ones who will do better work. read more

I have used Aardvark on two occasions, mainly for instillation of fans and other lighting with good result. Fast and reasonably priced.

I received quotes from other electricians, but none came close to the service and knowledge that Frank provided. I desperately needed recessed lighting installed in my home. Frank provided his availability and some things to consider over the phone. After coming by my house and scoping out the work, he provided even more info on what to expect and how it was gonna go. He sent over an official estimate, and we made it happen. Frank's team was kind, considerate, and ensured everything was according to spec. They cleaned up after themselves, and tried to be as unobtrusive as possible. I'm so glad that I found an electrician that I could trust, afford, and know would do things the right way. read more

I called to request a quote for a long laundry list of electrical we need done and the woman who answered on the other end could not have been ruder. I asked if she was ready (it's a massive list and everyone else we called for a quote took notes over the phone) and she said rudely 'can you be more specificcccc' -- it turned me off right away. Maybe treat customers with a little more courtesy and respect out of the gate. I realize it's late on a Friday but geez. I moved down the list and called the next electrician and do not recommend. Work better on your customer service. read more
