Such a crazy story - but new dishwasher could not be installed without a proper outlet. My house is old...we didn't have that outlet! Called Donatello Electric - too kind - and explained what we needed. Matt came out and what should have been an hour-long job (per Matt) turned into an almost two hour "let's be sure to get this really right" job. I am so thankful for Donatello's professionalism and kindness - and wow, they actually answer their phone! Matt was very knowledgeable, patient, and thorough! Really appreciate the quality of their work...and business model. I should also mention that I feel the pricing was honest and very fair. I will be calling again! Thank you all at Donatello Electric for a GREAT experience!!! read more

We've used Donatello twice now! First time around, they did installation of can lights, ceiling fans, nest thermostat, ceiling lights, etc. Had them back just a couple weeks ago and Shawn did a great job installing my outdoor Ring floodlight camera, fixing some outdoor light posts, and changing out overhead ceiling lights and fans. Highly recommend them! Shawn was super chill! I'll have them back always for any electric work. read more

Very pleased with Donatello. Don spent time with me on the phone when I called with my issue and never rushed me. He seemed genuinely concerned about my problem. Excellent electrician. Went above and beyond to find a solution within my budget for an unusual, complex problem in an old house's wiring.

We had what I would call a few electrical issues to take care of so we waited until we could not stand it any longer and called Donatello. I was concerned that because these were several small tasks, they wouldn't want to help but I was completely wrong. They set a time, promptly came out and fixed each item perfectly. The electrician (Matt) was great and made certain that everything was perfect. I will be using them again! read more

We called Donatello Electric about a light fixture above our bathroom medicine cabinet. Some days the light would go on, some days it wouldn't. Mike arrived early (he called ahead to make sure that was ok). He found a flakey connector in the fixture. He removed the connector and hard wired the fixture so we wouldn't have that problem again. Mike was clean and polite. We will call Donatello the next time we need electrical work. read more

They did in fact install the new whole house fan. Mike knew what he was doing, cleaned up after himself, and took the old one downstairs for my 79 yr old father. Professional, great attitude. They also gave a veterans discount which my father appreciated. My only (minor) complaint was the several month wait time. I wish they could have gotten here sooner. read more

Yesterday (4/15/24), Mike Parker from Donatello Electric responded to service requested. Issue was GFCI breaker intermittently tripping. And on Apr 4, would not reset, even with loads disconnected. (all small charger items like a razor or toothbrush). Being the breaker itself was 10 yrs old, but outlets 30-35 yrs old, Mike quickly recommended replacing outlets and the breaker. Mike had a good recommendation, was friendly and showed us how the new outlets could be rest. Great job. In March, we had Matt here to repair a hallway fixture. Bulb had broken leaving metal still in socket. Donatello has helped us several times. read more

I had a highly positive experience with Donatello Electric yesterday. I'm in the midst of preparing my residence to become a rental unit and have been switching out some light fixtures. To do that, I had to turn off the power at the circuit breaker. I have pretty old circuit breaker, so when I switched off the circuits I wasn't able to switch them back on again. It was getting dark, and I still have more work to do on the house but no light. I called Don. He sent Mike and Tim out within the hour. Within the next hour and 15 minutes, Mike and Tim work diligently to fix the problem. They worked professionally and efficiently to solve the problem. I would definitely call them again. Be aware that paying by Credit Card May add a 3% charge, but they accept checks too. read more

I contacted Donatello Electric to handle a large electrical repair that I needed done immediately. Don answered on the first ring and explained that he is very busy right now and does not have time to take on the job. However, he gave me the number for another electrician (competitor!) and told me I can contact him back if that electrician is too busy. Well, the other electrician was too busy! So, I texted Don and he gave me yet another referral to a competitor. This referral ended up working out and he was able to do the job. I was just so impressed with DOn's responsiveness and his willing to help me solve an issue even though he would not be getting the business. He is a true professional! read more

I spoke with Don several times before my appointment to confirm everything that needed to be done as things kept changing on my end. He gave me an idea of pricing ahead of time which I very much appreciated. Two electricians, Steve and Pat, came out on the day of because of the amount of work to be done - fixture installations/removal/replacements and several breaker and outlet repairs. They were on time and easy to work with. They also worked around our painting crew without issue. Everything looks great. Thank you!!! read more

Thanks to Steve and Joel, we feel safe in our home again. We had been experiencing partial outages and could not figure out why. It turns out our "fake fireplace" TV stand was the culprit. The 1500 watt setting was too much for our lighting circuit and had caused issues with the 50+-year-old wire insulation and the circuit. Steve and Joel ran new wires and they also found a disconnected conduit connector and fixed that. A word to the wise, do not overload your wiring and breakers with electrical items that the circuit was not designed to handle! Thanks, guys! read more

This is regarding work done earlier this year (April 2019). Had an awesome experience with Don and team! The work included a few projects: fixing interior and exterior outlets, installing exterior garage lights and backyard flood light. From start to finish, Don made himself readily available through phone/text/email to answer all questions I had related to the work being done. Team performing the work was prompt and courteous and provided exceptional quality work (including the clean work done to install the conduit in the garage for exterior lights). We also had an add-on project that was not originally planned (wet bar lighting) but Don was very flexible and able to work with us on the spot to quote/schedule (which was completed the following week). Highly recommend Donatello Electric! read more

First time I've needed to have an electrician come out. Steve and Joel were the team who came to work on my kitchen outlets last week. They called to let me know they were on the way. That gave me time to clean off the counter and put away my dog . I told them what I'd like done and they accomplished the job in a clean, quick manner. And, pricing was transparent as I knew what to expect before they even came out. I would definitely use Donatello again if I have the need. read more

Called over the weekend due to dishwasher not working and requiring electrical assistance. Don said he would call back Sat afternoon- which he did. Then he said he would call Monday for a better estimate of coming by. Never called, listed immediate cost of service and work required. I called another electrician who provided a walk through over the phone to try to trouble shoot the issue without paying. Excellent guy who then came out and charged much less. Thanks Don for the terrible customer service! I found someone better and cheaper! read more

Mike came to my house to diagnose a set of lights that was dim. Embarrassingly, it was the result of a tiny dimmer on the switch that I didn't notice.
