Don't not use this electrician. Dishonest and lied about services. Total scam artists. I first called and they said they would charge $49 for travel fee and troubleshooting. When the electrician came, he didn't come and even look at the circuit board. No trouble shooting done. Instead he came there to just say he will charge $300 for any kind of service he will do (different from my phone conversation )- why didn't you reveal all this during our phone conversation? Repeat DO NOT USE THIS ELECTRICIAN! The electrician was very unprofessional and was arguing "what happen if it's a complicated job, it's $300!" I said , "what happen if it's an EASY job, and it's $300?!!!" As mentioned, when I talk to the lady over the phone, they said they charge differently for different services. However , this cheating electrician want to charge over $300 for not even taking a look at the circuit board. Very dishonest, rude, and not upfront with their pricing . DO NOT USE. read more

They were really easy to work with, from setting up the dispatch appointment to having Tony assess all the upgrades recommended from the home inspection, and providing his own input on wiring problems and other shortcuts that needed to be corrected. Their systems are modern and digitized, which makes it easy to see invoices and the work performed ahead of time. Repairs were performed efficiently and expertly, and Tony made sure to walk me through everything after the job was finished. Twice now I've relied upon All Power Electric to help me in a pinch. First, I had an outlet that started to smoke. I thought I could take care of it myself but just managed to make it worse. I've used All Power twice now and have been very satisfied with them each time. The first was for an emergency situation when our breaker box totally blew out. My project was an 18-foot residential ceiling installation of a large (55-inch diameter) custom chandelier with 48 arms that required assembly, installation of a dimmer switch, and disposal of the ceiling fan that was in place previously. * Contacted business after business hours on a weekday, received immediate post-COB response for next day assessment/quote; * After assessment and quoting the next day, received a detailed quote and execution scheduling for the following day (!); * The following day, All Power Electric deployed 3 people; their work was extremely fast, clean, and thorough. I am so glad I called All Power. Tony arrived promptly at the promised time and I have never met a more personable repairman. We had lost power to the garage, and this is what impressed me most about Tony- he did not mind if you watched him do the repair work- indeed, he didn't mind you asking questions and he went out of his way to explain what he was doing. Tony was able to diagnose the issue, and he worked impressively and we had power back to the garage. He also told us that in order to totally resolve our issue, we would eventually need more extensive electrical work, something I agree with, but he didn't press getting the work done right away. We hired all power electrical services to repair one pull chain light switch and two electrical outlets. That completed, i took Tony to the basement and showed him our electric panel box and said i wanted it upgraded to 220 service. we then went out back and i showed him the electric pole containing the electric meter and told him i wanted that replaced and also replace one light on the rear of the house and one light on the garage. I asked Tony how much that job would cost me. He said $ 2,400.00. I said o.k. I will call you when i'm ready to get it done. Returning home one Saturday morning with groceries,we found the electricity in the house was out. I called Tony and said we have an electrical problem. Tony came and found that the problem wasn't in the house electrical system but that the electric company had turned power off.We called the electric company."Tony told the clerk that there were elderly people in the house who were using machines that needed electricity,and that they needed to turn the electric on immediately." That statement wasn't wasn't true. M y wife and i took care of the problem with the electric company and the electric was turned on. Our problem was solved. Tony wanted to show us something in the basement, he went to the furnace and took the filter cover off and told us that the filter frame was not correctly installed in the furnace and he would send someone out to correct it. Tony told us a lot of things that would help us out. "NONE WERE TRUE". I told Tony ,since i called you for nothing, you might as well do the job we discussed earlier. How much did you say it would cost me?i asked. This time ,Tony said $ 2,300.00 and he would need half of the money to buy the material. My wife wrote the check . It took another four weeks and numerous calls before we saw Tony again. He began working on the electric pole outside.He would come in and talk to my wife and i while his helper worked. he asked a lot of questions and made a lot of statements . He said that he was a very religious person and considered himself somewhat of a preacher. They worked about two hours that day. Before he left he asked my wife and i if we liked tamales ,we weren't sure. I will bring you some tomorrow," they're good," he said. The next morning Tony came with the tamales and sat down with us for breakfast and more of his conversation. after about twenty to thirty minutes he left us at the table and continued his electrical work. About an hour and a half later he said he was finished . I told my wife to write him the check for the other half. When i realized that Tony had not done the job we agreed to,I called and asked them for an itemized receipt.They sent me a paper containing the work Tony had done with no dollar amount. I then made a complaint with the Illinois States attorneys office. As of today's date, Tony has not replied to the states attorney or the people he took advantage of. read more
