Last Thursday night, my dishwasher wouldn't turn on. I went on the app and reported the problem. When I got home on Friday, Dimitri Miller was installing the new dishwasher. I had dinner guests coming in a few hours. Dimitri had everything finished and running within the next 30 minutes. Left my kitchen and apartment tidy, and I was up and running within the hour. Terrible! This place is not well maintained. It's pretty on the outside, but maintenance is sloppy at best. The staff will mention the "age" of the building. It's not the age, it's lapsed, lazy, and terrible ongoing maintenance. Also, don't expect privacy. The maintenance and management here are ALL ABOUT entering your apartment, as often as possible, without or without your consent. I have lived on this property for 10+years. In this time, it is now in its 3rd ownership. The current owners were pretty rusty at first. Not going to lie. But, they have really come around! Firstly, the maintenance team (Dom, Dimitri, and Josh) are on their game. Very timely, efficient and friendly! The leasing team (Anna and Tiffany) are very friendly, approachable and helpful! I lived at IMT Lowry for 4 years. I was even there when it was still Pilot House and remember the shift when new management took over. When they first took over the complex apartment comfort and upgrades took a downturn and the focus on making the exterior look better took top priority. I remember them repainting the building and redoing the driveways. They never addressed the constant overflowing trash situation or the constant loud pool parties that would happen on an almost weekly basis during summer. The security company would be slow to respond if it occurred after hours. If it did occur during work hours management would do nothing to remedy the situation negatively impacting those working from home. I vividly remember a pool party going on till 11:30pm one night where I could hear sounds of motorcycles at the pool directly. I called security multiple times, got video footage of the event, and sent it over to the leasing office nothing came out of it. People still broke into the pool without regard for any of the residents and the leasing office doing nothing about. it. This is a common event if you live near or around the pool. I could go on and on honestly. Some other safety concerns I have personally experienced: - My boyfriend was jumped near the trash cans a year ago by a nearby gang. The car was black, missing license plates, and there were 3 people sitting around it watching every resident walking by waiting for the right one. They were eyeing me, but due to his presence they wouldn't get near me. They ended up jumping him shortly after I left for work. They saw me leave my apartment from the garage and knew where I lived. We both expressed these concerns to the leasing office and were told there isn't anything they can do other than relocate us. We filed a police report, but nothing from the leasing office was done about this incident other than being told "sorry" and "move." - People break into the mailroom on a regular basis. I remember getting multiple emails of the matter for a year or so about the mailroom being broken into. I once even got a letter/package from an attorney, who I didn't contact, stating how my information from my mail was stolen and is currently being used in a fraud case. It was documents that included my address, name, date of birth, and a few other key components. - Unsafe neighbors are very common as well. My first neighbors would smoke cigarettes in their garage multiple times a day making my garage reek and every door in my apartment while they lived there. I had to walk out with my hair covered everyday it was so bad. There was also a resident who drove drunk and destroyed my other neighbors garage and stairs leading to their apartment. -Another set of neighbors was a man who I heard on a regular basis verbally and physically abusing his partner. It triggered several flashbacks for me as a domestic violence survivor. He also was a drunk and was kicked out of the pool for disorderly conduct on a regular basis. He would also somewhat creep me out with odd flirty looks constantly. He was 40 at the time; I was 28-29. It made me so highly uncomfortable I wouldn't leave my house if I knew he was around. -Our final neighbor before move out was one of the loudest and rudest we have ever experienced. He would intentionally stomp so loud it would shake our walls and scare our pets the point of one actually having to be put down due to the stress from him. This went on for 3-4 months from 6:00am- 10:30pm before we moved out. We talked to the leasing office, the resident directly, got video footage of it, and sent the footage to the leasing office. We were told that when living in a shared space extra noise is to be expected. We didn't expect a quiet apartment being on the first floor, but we do expect to be able to respectfully watch TV and talk without getting headache. If you value your safety about this place, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A SINGLE FEMALE, , do not move here. This is not a safe location for anyone to live due to its location near Aurora and the dismissive management team. read more

If you value your safety, DO NOT LIVE HERE! I have never lived in a complex who took less safety precautions than IMT Lowry. There are no locks on any resident buildings, no security cameras in or on any resident buildings, residents cannot install any form of external camera/ring doorbell to monitor strangers who choose to enter the unlocked buildings, IMT refuses to install deadbolts on doors that do not already have them (mine did not), and their security "patrol" patrols all Denver IMT residences and is almost never on the property, nor did they ever respond or show up when I called. I had sketchy solicitors come to my door (since they could with unlocked buildings) and presented scams to me, freaking me out so much that I ended up giving them money just to leave my building. When I told IMT this, they told me there was "nothing I could do to prevent strangers, dangerous or otherwise, from entering the building unless they forced their way into my own apartment." Anna Tran told me this. So comforting :) A few weeks later, two large men came loudly, forcefully banging on my door 3 times in one day. They did not announce themselves, IMT claimed they were not IMT workers and told me not to open the door, and the men were actively looking into my peep hole and kept repeatedly returning to the property. After IMT security failed to show up, I had to call the police as I feared for my safety. The police told me that if I could not install a ring doorbell given the lack of locks on the buildings, that I should either "buy a gun or move out of the complex" as they "field theft and violence claims from this community often." When I told the leasing office of this, Charlie Villanueba told me they would not be taking/installing any further precautions in lieu of my situation, so I terminated my lease for an obscenely expensive price. This apartment complex is also located very near (~2 miles) where several instances of international gang violence have taken place in Aurora. Save your money, your sanity and your safety and live ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!! read more

This is not a reflection of the staff friendliness, just a reflection of all the miss opportunities I've experienced. 1) 1st day of moving in, I came early before the movers to clean and vacuum. No joke, the carpet was caked with long dog hair. I vacuumed the entire place about 5 times and that did not do justice. I called the leasing office when they opened to physically show them all of the dog hair that I emptied from my vacuum. They offered to clean the carpets which didn't fix the issue either. 2) while within the first week a maintenance guy walked into our apartment with our knocking our without notice. Just plain and simple unlocked the door with their key and walked in. 3) the ceiling fan in the second bedroom was broken for at least 6 months. A few months there was just a hole in the ceiling because they remove the fan unit completely. When they put in a new fan we only had 1 option. Only option was full speed fan that shook the entire apartment and had no light. This was finally fixed the last month we were there. 4) you could hear everything above you! We had a neighbor dog that had bad separation anxiety and would constantly bark when left alone. Took months for the leasing office to do anything, luckily we moved out. 5) the carport lights were out for about a month which leaves the area completely dark which is a safety concern. While, I backed in and broke my car mirror against the pole as I couldn't see anything. I called the office and they said (oh it's been fixed / the work order was completed).... It was never fixed until that day I called them. read more

Lack of communication and inability of management has led to the main pool of the complex being closed for a large portion of the summer months. Last Sunday, an "unauthorized party" was allowed to happen at IMT Lowry. Loud music, loud patrons, broken bottles, etc. was freely taking place until roughly 10pm. The next day, we received a note from management that the party was unauthorized, so all residents were being issued blue wristbands to prove residency while at the pool. This Sunday, all residents were removed from the pool as an "unauthorized" birthday party was taking place. Rather than utilize the blue wristbands that they had issued to all residents, they closed the facilities for the remainder of the day. Residents continue to be punished for management's inability to adequately oversee the pool. This is all after the pool was closed for roughly a month because someone broke glass in the area, another rule that has been failed to be managed. Overall the facility has been good, but this has not been an issue at any other complex I have ever lived at, and it's surprising that it continues to somehow not adequately be addressed. read more

We have had some maintenance issues but Anna, who assisted us with our move in, has been extremely helpful and responsive to us as we get settled! When we toured this apartment complex, we were shown a beautiful, modern, updated apartment by a temporary front desk employee and told we would have the same layout but some of the appliances wouldn't be updated which we were okay with. We didn't get to see our actual apartment until move in day which of course is a mistake. It was a totally different layout, the appliances were old, our kitchen could only handle one person being in it at a time, the counters needed to be cleaned with sandpaper because it tore up our towels and dish sponges and the storage space wasn't comparable to what we'd been shown on the walk through. We immediately asked if we could change to an apartment with the layout we were promised and they told us one wouldn't be available for 2 months. We had to suck it up because at the time, it was our only option. A couple days before we moved in, we were told we might not be able to move in because the cleaning ladies would still be in but with the days we had off work we still needed to move in any way. On move in day, the cleaning ladies were still working as we had to move all our belongings down from our original second floor apartment to our new third floor apartment. We did a walk through with the manager Kyle and he supposedly wrote down all the things that needed to be fixed but we quickly learned he never put in a work order. He supposedly put in a second work order after we went in to talk to him in his office but still nothing was done. Finally we talked to Amanda who is the only person that actually gets things done at IMT lowry and we finally had our apartment fixed up because nothing was completed prior to us moving in. With all the complications and mess ups made by IMT lowry, they did absolutely nothing to reimburse us. They waived the "transfer fee" which shouldn't have fallen on us in the first place because all the mistakes were made by IMT. If you're hoping that because you pay for a luxury apartment, the amenities will always be working and available, you will be extremely disappointed. The hot tubs almost never work. And the pools get closed for WEEKS at a time. They also shut down thee pool for the entire complex because someone had more than one guest. Also, don't even think about playing pool after hours because the pool sticks will be hidden away since some assholes keep breaking them. Also, there's definitely not enough parking in this place for everyone that lives here. You can either pay to park in a roofed area or a garage. Otherwise there's a handful of free spots but for the most part you'll be parking on the main road in front of the apartments where people speed race all day and night. I like having the park behind our apartment but it's definitely not a quiet area. There's lots of street racing and firework shooting in our area. Our mail room and package lockers have been broken into multiple times. Overall, would not recommend this apartment. You're better off living in a stand alone house and not having to rely on people staffing an apartment building. I lived in this community for 2 years and things were fine, until the new assistant manager presented himself and so far, I feel this guy Charlie Villanueba is biased and unprofessional, he is also for the company, then the residents. The first instance is when I left my cloths in the dryer, after I moved out on July 13, 2024, I remembered the next day while at work that I forgot some items I left in the dryer which was the rest of my dark items. When I retrieved my cloths the next day and went through them, I noticed a t-shirt and shorts were missing. So, I went to the office on my way home the following day and told Charlie and he instantly first off lied to his staff and told them I said everything was fine when I called, so that's why I went in. As soon as I seen him, I asked him why you lied, and he said I told you that and he stated that they didn't take anything. I than told to him, how would you know, when you just got here. So instead of apologizing or let's go see where the paint guys are at. He automatically defended them, and I'm started to think because they were Latin like him, and he didn't give any other alternativities. Also, I received my final Statement of Deposit, I also have the prior year one, when I moved from a two bedroom into a one bedroom in the same complex. Mind you I moved out in May which was the same time exactly about a year ago. He made several errors on the document to the move in and out date. I believe these dates were manipulated purposely. Also, he charged me for 1 bag of trash, and I hired people to clean, and I know when I returned the keys on the 14th of July (Sunday). I did a final walkthrough with photos, and I know for certain tee that there were NO items left of any kind in the residence. For instance, the first time I was charged with trash once. This instance I was charged 3 times. The first time I was charged $5.85 for the carpet and this time it was $50.00 plus the $5.85. There were only two AUTOCHARGES the first time and this time it was doubled that. In which I had less carpet (only in one bedroom the last time. Here are the additional that were added and are in question. 1. Recurring charges that state 2,527.00 when my rent was an average of $1960.00 2. Electricity, water, package locket, pest control, carpet cleaning, carport, etc. The question is why I am getting charged a carport fee when I paid for that in my adjustable final rent or an Amazon locker that I'm not going to use but paid for the rest of the month? As said earlier this guy just got here and the whole staff has changed, in which I think it was by design because for one they have no clue what the units looked like prior to them coming, less than two months ago. Also, the prior reviews I've left regarding this place were positive and that's when the old staff was there, so far, every one of the new staff is fine but the tactics and dishonest practice of the new assistant manager is a concern this early, seeing how he just got there. Sometimes it's better to tell people that you need to get comfortable with everything or you don't know than acting like it and overcompensating. read more

We have seven units at the property, and have one member who has been in the property 3 years, and three others who have been there nearly a year - which is FOREVER in our line of work! Thanks to the whole team for all you do to support us, from dealing with sometimes difficult members, to my many calls and sometimes asinine questions, to the maintenance team who responds so quickly, and even being so proactive about the lease renewals. I dodged a real bullet having IMT purchase this property. Many low life neighbors and the pool seems to be a secret public pool but IMT is so far superior to Holland! My apt wasn't cleaned before I moved in under Holland. Simple things weren't fixed. IMT has surpassed all expectations and from what I have seen in my unit I can't imagine the messes they have needed to clean up after Holland negligence. I've been at Lowry for a few years and have really appreciated the renovations that IMT has implemented since taking over. Both the maintenance team and leasing office make living here such a comfortable and stress free experience. Johnny and his team are incredibly friendly, quick to respond to any maintenance requests, and always go the extra mile to ensure all my concerns are addressed. Whether it's replacing my air filters or a more complex/random issue with my appliances, they are always willing to help with a smile. Amanda, Rebekah, and the other folks in the leasing office have also been amazing. They are always communicative and helpful, making the lease renewal process a breeze. Any questions I've had have been answered promptly and thoroughly, and they've been extremely accommodating on any specific requests. read more

I moved to IMT Lowry without ever seeing the place in person. Risky, yes... disappointing, no! I love the location, the amenities, the apartment itself and the staff! Kyle and his team are amazing. I probably call them at least once a week asking tons of questions and they are always so eager to help. The property is well maintained and it is a relatively quiet complex. Only con so far is the parking situation if you don't have a carport/garage. So definitely worth investing! Lowry has so many fun restaurants and trails to walk and IMT is so close to everything! read more

I really took a bullet when IMG took over this property a couple of months ago. Management is a complete clown show. Calls to the office invariably go to voice mail. It took them weeks to sort out the problems with the new portal to pay rent and utilities. Valet trash service is spotty at best, the trash dumpsters in the parking lot are overflowing, and they somehow missed the memo(s) about the recycling service -- so now we have none. Calls to the office after hours is supposed to have an option 4 to connect to security. Except there is no option 4. When you contact the security company directly the phone is answered in California is by people who have never heard of IMT Lowry. I could go on. read more
