Home sweet home! We are now going on to our 7th year at this property and I have to say that the last 3 years have been an absolute joy for us as tenants of this building. Starting with the building manager Natalie Berrios and assistant manager Lisa Smith, these two ladies are outstanding! They are always there to assist us in every situation that arises.... They have created a very safe and pleasant environment for our families to live in. They make sure that ALL of the tenants follow the rules so everyone is comfortable and surrounded in peace and harmony! The grounds are kept very well manicured and clean. They have an open door policy where you can just step in to their office and discuss anything that you are concerned with. This building also has a wonderful maintenance department with Dave leading the way! Dave is incredibly knowledgeable about EVERYTHING that concerns the building!!! He's awesome! He's courteous and extremely professional! He is always on time and is able to repair anything in our unit. His team includes Carlos who is also amazing! Going on 3 years living at this complex and have had nothing but a positive experience. Maintenance crew are great and on top of any issue that may arise. Us: Adult professionals IMT BelaSera at Superior in Northridge residents for 6 years. Pros: Large units Cons: Highest rent in neighborhood, no on-site management, constant rotating and absent staff, run-down building and: college kids college kids college kids When my Wife and I moved into this IMT property in Northridge it was a luxury community. It was at that time (and still is) one of the most expensive apartment rental buildings in the Northridge/Granada Hills area. The building was new and was primarily filled with professional adults with only a few units rented-out to CSUN college students. It also had a live-in Manager and Maintenance staff We obviously knew we were moving close to the University, but we thought that not too many college students could afford to live in this building and we weren't concerned. We immediately fell in love with our unit and lived in our apartment for 6 years, but over those 6 years the building slowly turned into a student hostel and is now not worth the rent price. So we moved. The complex is now 80% college students and the feeling of "luxury community" has turned into a feeling of "expensive dorm" with students riding their bikes in the corridors. The students can afford it now because they each have 4 roommates dividing the still very expensive rent. The 2-bedrooms at this property now have 4-5 students living in them and 4 of them have cars. The parking out front has turned into a car-lot that is not enforced AT ALL including illegal parking in the handicap spot. The underground parking is now filled with random junk laying around the parking structure (tires, car parts, furniture). The building converted two of the units into one giant 5 bedroom that they rent out to CSUN sports teams. The secured underground parking has a broken gate about once a month and a security camera that doesn't see anything in the event of a theft including two of our bicycles that were locked up on our car that disappeared one morning. They told us nobody knew how to work the playback on the security cameras. Isn't that nice? The building is a victim of graffiti including the elevator that is typically filthy and very run down (when it works). We had the pleasure of finding vomit in the elevator three separate times. College kids are not very good at cleaning up after themselves and so trash bags sitting in front of doors and by the trash chute are common. When we first moved into this building we often saw small cleaning and painting crews on the weekends keeping the property nice. That is rare now unless the building is being inspected. The front of the building has turned into the property's "dump" and now broken appliances and furniture sitting out on the curb is unpleasantly common. It makes for wonderful curb appeal. I LOVE coming home to my $2510/mth apartment and seeing a bunch of move-out crap at the entrance. LOOK AT THE PICTURES! If you can afford $2510/mth for a 2 bedroom or $2860/mth for a three bedroom and are a professional adult who will have 2 people living in a 2 bedroom then keep looking. It was a nice property when it first opened. I understand that if you shove 5 students into a 2 bedroom and their parents are paying then it is pretty affordable for them to live in a safe area. But, it also makes it a reality that IMT BelaSera at Superior is NOT a luxury community anymore and will soon become 100% inhabited by college students. IMT seems to be just fine with that. Professional adult renters need to keep shopping. The only other Yelp review is from someone who left a great review for this apartment complex and a different apartment complex one month earlier. I guess she lived in both places at the same time. Again, if you are a working adult with a spouse or partner looking for a "high-end" community then keep apartment hunting. If you are a college student with 4 roommates you'll love this building. LOOK AT THE PICTURES! read more

This is the only property I want to rent in the entire Los Angeles! It's the most spacious there is, and the prices are also the best out there. I love that all the appliances are included, washer, dryer, all the kitchen stuff, pool, gym, etc. I want to give a special shout-out to Ashley Dagostino, our property manager, for always being so professional but most importantly reliable and trust-worthy. This is absolutely the best place to live. It is hidden in a small neighborhood and the apartments are very spacious. We have a three bedroom. Every room is spacious. The property is well kept and lots of greenery! The college students are respectful of the families living here. BUT THE BEST PART is the leasing office. Natalie and Lisa are fantastic. Hi Laner, thank-you for responding. While I do understand your frustration at guests parking in non-guest spots, vandalizing a guest's car doesn't seem to be a reasonable response. The sticker you place on the windshield of offending vehicles obstructs the view of the driver as you place the rather large sticker right in the center of the windshield to the left, thereby obstructing the driver's vision. The sticker is very difficult to remove and is very likely to cause the driver difficulty in seeing as they drive off your property. In my opinion, you could be held criminally liable if a traffic accident occurs due to your sticker placement. I would suggest you cease this practice of sticker placement obstructing driver's vision before a serious accident occurs. read more
